Sweet and clean-lite story
Hannah and Hawk is the second book in the Hometown Love series and it is a sweet and fun story that puts the reader back in the small town of Macintyre. The hardware store has new owners in the form of Hannah and her brother Hunter. They have moved from the “big city” to start over while staying together. There are a couple employees at the store and one morning Hannah meets the father of one when Derrick stops by to drop off his son’s school books that he had left at home.
The relationship between Hannah and Derrick is that of an older man / younger woman which develops in an interesting way. Even though both characters are instantly attracted to each other they do not jump right into bed together. Instead the relationship progresses over time and builds. There is a bit of play, some spanking, but nothing is graphic or really dirty in this story. So I would say it is clean-lite.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is a really nice story about a relationship that develops between an older man and younger woman. The characters grew as the story progressed. It’s an easy to read story that has some spanking scenes in it but really nothing much more than that. If you are looking for a sweet story to read then this is the book for you.

Hannah and the Hawk is book two in Megan McCoy’s Hometown Love series focusing on Hannah Koberline, who owns a hardware store with her brother, and Derrick Hawk, an older man whose son works for Hannah. When Hannah buys a new cottage, Hawk is hired to add a second bathroom to her home. Hannah and Hawk are strongly attracted to each other and begin to date which eventually leads to a romantic relationship with one another. I recommend this sweet and humorous older man/younger woman steamy romance.

This book started off rather slow for me. But when it finally picked up, it was a fun sexy read. Hawk is a single father that has raised his son and is ready to get on to the next chapter in his life. Hannah is in her mid twenties, new in town, a new store owner, and ready for something more in her life. The book was a fast paced, page turner, and an overall fun read. Sometimes felt like storylines were left dangling, but a good read.
I received a copy from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Hannah runs a business with her brother and when an employee’s dad comes in, it’s on. Gorgeous, dominant and a decade older, he intrigues her. Working on a bathroom remodel for her, soon Hawk and Hannah are circling each other. Before too long, she comes to know his protective, dominant side and hard palm. A good spanking romance.

A very interesting read that has the theme of older man with a younger woman that has many insecurities due to her past. The characters are wonderful and mostly understanding, but very real. No one is perfect and each of them have their flaws. A very heart-warming HEA and I will be reading more of this author

This is the second book in Hometown Love. Hannah has recently moved to Macintyre with her brother to buy the hardware store. They are doing well and she meets Derrick Hawk. He is the local contractor and they fall into a relationship. He is more into having a submissive than just domestic discipline even though it isn’t defined that way. Hawk gives Hannah rules and has her checking in with him several times a day. There are a few perplexing items in the story, but the set up for many more books has been made. There is a HEA and it was quite fun to read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a great book I enjoyed the characters that are well developed and engaging and have chemistry from the start. The storyline flowed smoothly and easily from beginning to the end.

Hannah and her brother Hunter move to McIntyre to start their own hardware store. Their father had run up so much debt that he lost the family business. Hannah meets one of her employees father and bam her whole world shifts. He is older, hotter, demanding and very stern. What in the world has she done? Hannah ends up hiring Hawk to work on the house she bought. When Hawk shows up to Hannah’s house there is instant attraction and they both work really hard to suppress their feelings because of their age difference. Hawk dominate nature brings Hannah’s submissive tendencies out. There are spanking scenes, domestic discipline and sexy scenes, and a really sweet love story. I’m going to go back and read the first book of this series because I enjoyed this book so much. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
ONE OUTSTANDING TREAT!!!
Welp, that happened! Megan discovers the drain, plucks the plug and sinks the ship with this sensational, mind blowing, mesmerizing, block busting, page flipping bombshell that fuses this piece of perfection together flawlessly. Jumping hoops, coping with the trials and tribulations keeping pace with sharp twists, clean turns and thin lines launching this baby forward sleek, shiny and tight. Amazing scenario’s that punch dead center with such intensity and glittering precision, propels this little guy into a tailspin with stunning impacts, blasting this baby to life spectacularly. The realism and authenticity of the characters as their on point personalities blend and flow along with the colorfully detailed scenes paint one fantastic backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Awesome job Megan, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
Book two in a new series called Hometown Love a well written story, but there is just something I do not like about Melinda. This is Hannah Koberline and Derrick Hawk’s story, which I enjoyed reading and I want to read the next book. This is about Macintyre, Illinois and the friends and relatives they have there. Hannah and her brother own a hardware story in a small town. Hawk does renovations, and his son works for them. Sparks fly when Hannah and Hawk meet. He adds a powder room to her new house, and they begin to date. All over town, they run into women who used to date him. And Hannah’s worried that she’s the latest “reno girl”. Spankings and some corner time straighten her out as they head for their happy ending. This was a hot little book, not too long to read in an afternoon. The story took off right away, and was so easy to read. Despite their age difference, these two seem perfect for each other. They find a great group of friends, so supportive. And it’s nice to see Jess and Mac from Don’t Mess with Jess.
