Unbelievable and Mind Boggling
Another outstanding Capital Murder novella, Nick O’Flanigan delivers the goods once again. Nick is an endearing hero because he is reluctantly pulled into murder cases each time he pulls into a new city during his yearlong photography assignment. Secondary characters are quirky and fun to get to know. The scenery is always beautifully described, enough that the reader can imagine it. Eateries visited sound scrumptious and make one want to dine there. The information about each capital city is a bonus. An element of the macabre gives this story an extra edge. Happy reading!
Nick is a freelance photographer! He’s spending a year taking pics of all 50 state capitals! Heading into Helena he see dark smoke coming from the town. As he gets closer he learns it coming from the state park! When he discovers there was a murdered man and the fire was set to cover it up his curiosity is peaked! This was another good mystery even though he wasn’t as involved in this case as much as he has been in the past books. It was still a good book! I loved learning things about Helena I didn’t know before. I recommend this book and this series!
Fate just keeps to seemingly take Nick to crime sites in each capital city. This time, the adventure for him actually starts while he is driving into town, clues of wrongdoing literally on the horizon. No spoilers here, but Nick gets immersed in plenty of situations that make you raise your eyebrow as you wonder which way the story is going to go. Suffice it to say Nick has never met a stranger, and just can’t pass up a chance to help solve a murder, the clues to this one picked up while hiking. And, is there a new love interest in the mix? You’ll just have to buy this super fun mystery to answer all the questions above. Well written, great series that doesn’t have to be read in order, but, if you haven’t read the others, you will certainly want to after reading this book! I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest, unsolicited review.
Yet another thoroughly entertaining story about Nick, who is on a year long trip around all the capital cities of the USA creating a photographic record of each city.
He manages to get involved in murder enquiries in each city, and this is no exception, a very rare murder in the small town of Helena leads to a very enjoyable mystery with a great twist to the story.
Another city, another murder, these stories are easy to read or listen too and also fun to follow Nick on his journey.
Very well written and the descriptions of people and areas make it all easy to imagine.
Definitely worth reading,
I received this audio book for free from #Story Origin and wanted to give an honest review.
