Leilani is fragile, delicate like a flower. Her classmates test her weakness, plucking at her pink petals, one by one until the last petal is gone. But, just like every flower, petals grow back. And, they blossom.Alas, Leilani doesn’t see her beauty, but Chad does.Sometimes, in life, love finds you when you least expect it to.But, how can Leilani love somebody when she doesn’t love herself?Love … love herself?
Love doesn’t have a name.
Love doesn’t have an occupation.
Love is what draws people from their darkest moments.
No road is smooth.
No road is impossible.
Here is Leilani’s story.
She’s as beautiful as a flower but made of stone.
Words hurt.
Words cut deep.
But, words can’t cut stone.

This is my first time reading this author and this is a quick read that is fun, serious, emotional, and steamy read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was a great with the having characters that are well developed and engaging and have plenty of chemistry. The flow of the storyline was steady and smooth.

The storyline was well written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each and every page I felt like Leilani and Chad jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it effortlessly unfolded!
This is a great little 2 for 1 book containing a “hands off” themed story for 2 characters, 1 branching off from a side character in the first story. Emotional struggles of not feeling good enough are focal points in both stories. The characters face challenges with how they view themselves or how others view them but are able to overcome them by assistance from those who love them unconditionally. Even those who were causing the negative thoughts helped force Leilani and Garrett to come to their senses about how they view themselves. This was an enjoyable read!
I really loved this book. Mikey B is really good and very promising. I love the way the the story goes. It is very well written and wished it was longer.

A page turner that will keep you swiping and although there is a happy ever after, you won’t want this lovestory to end.
luv it
I enjoyed Mikey B., passion for writing exotic forbidden love stories. I’m upset dirty words left us… but I will follow… Dirty words writing is addictive… her characters are emotional and loveable… it was her forbidden romance that caught my attention on inkitt and I followed the writer on several fiction sites.
Leilani is a lost puppy and the Chad is the bulldog that saves her. Leilani uses Chad’s love and blossoms from it. He is her stem… she is his flower. Leilani finds Chad in the hardest moment of her life. She found him when she needed love… needed a partner to ride through life with her… with Chad and her best friend, Leilani finds her happy ever after.
Hands-Off tackles many situations. Weight loss. Bully. But through it all. Chad stays by Leilani. The student/teacher gave the story the forbidden touch. This story is my favourite written by this author. He/she wrote an amazing love story with a broken female that found her strength through love. I wish you the best of luck Dirty_Words
However, I’m not him.
I’m not a boy.
I’m a fucking man.
And, I’ll show her every day how much of a man I am until she understands the difference between a boy and a man.
I need a Chad in real life.
Leilani’s caught her boyfriend cheating on her. She left him and met lovely Chad.
Chad is a teacher at Leilani’s school. Hands-Off is instant love. Their love is so strong, not his career, or the school slut could break them apart.
Cadence is harsh, teases Leilani about her weight and her looks. Leilani’s story is emotional but well worth the read.
I love how he can’t get enough of me. Chad makes me feel treasured at my weakest moments. It’s his strength I’m feeding on because as of now, I have none.
I feel him everywhere. And, when Cadence insists I’m ugly, it’s Chad’s voice I hear telling me I’m beautiful. Chad’s voice is loud and clear, pushing hers out of my head.
Some days, I believe him. And, those are the days I fear the most. If he were to sleep with another girl, he’d destroy me.
Acknowledging the rapid weight loss encouraged me to stick my fingers down my throat. And, each time I gagged myself, Cadence words would swim around inside my head.
He created a heart that would never shatter. A body that will never break. And a soul that will love her soulmate forever.
I admire every author for all their hard work. I enjoyed the story, and will read more books written by this author. The characters are adorable and the story telling is consuming. I escaped in a well-written romantic fictional world until I finished reading.
All I can say is read it. If you enjoy a story that will yank emotions from you, make you cry, make you angry, then read this book. Thank u for giving me an ARC knowing that I’m a strict reviewer. I appreciate the free copy of your stories. I understand why your followers keep saying they will miss you on wattpad. no more free stories
An emotional read jam-packed with emotions, drama, angst, and smex. Interesting enough to keep you reading, steamy enough to keep you swiping, and emotional to have you crying A must-read romance. My favourite book this year by a longshot. I consider this story a hidden gem.
I’m excited for you Dirty words but hope you’ll still publish sometimes on wattpad. you are one of my favourite wattpad authors. you’ll be deeply missed
Leilani is a shattered soul with two boys in her life who pieces her back together. Chad is a teach giving the book the forbidden touch forbidden lovers enjoy reading. The emotional aspect of the book keeps the story entertaining and heartbreaking.
I read on wattpad before the story was self-published
I love Mikey B. so much. I hate that she left wattpad but I am so happy she self-published. Hands-off is an emotional fast paced read. Leilani is me. I was bullied in school for my looks bc I was overweight. I had a boyfriend who cheated on me and stayed with him. I read hands off and I left him. I was uncomfortable to undress around my now boyfriend but I thought of Leilani’s character and how broken and strong she was, and I removed my close for the first time. Dirty_Words I am going to miss your daily updates and our conversations on wattpad. Your stories are so emotional and inspired me to want better. Your heroes are always lovable and your heroines are slways a little broken but strong. They depend on the man for love, and comfort but they love themselves. Leilani is one of my favorites bc I was her. Hands off will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish you the best and will review your books with the comments I would write. I still want a Chad. I love my now boyfriend but he is not Chad
Leilani and Chad will welcome you on an emotional high that you’ll never come down from. Their story is emotional from the beginning to the end. My favourite aspect about this story is how Chad reassures Leilani of her inner beauty. The school cheerleader bullied her. Leilani has insecurities so when she’s bullied it mentally drains Leilani and makes her believe she’s not worth it. Chad and her best friend Garrett doesn’t rest until Leilani sees her worth. There is so much emotions, sex and sex that will you keep you swiping until the very end.
Leilani is so insecure, it’s sad. I’m glad she saw her true beauty. Leilani’s story is really inspiring. I could relate to her character. While reading, it seemed like I was the heroine. I’m glad Chad loved her, and am glad she had her best friend. I don’t read M/M but I did read Garrett’s short story. Great book.
