New York Times bestselling author of SHACKING UP and I FLIPPING LOVE YOU Helena Hunting mixes humor and heart in this scandal-filled romantic comedy.HE WANTS TO LOSE CONTROL.Between his parents’ messed up marriage and his narcissistic younger brother, Lincoln Moorehead has spent the majority of his life avoiding his family. After the death of his father, Lincoln finds himself in the middle of the … death of his father, Lincoln finds himself in the middle of the drama. To top it all off, he’s been named CEO of Moorehead Media, much to his brother’s chagrin. But Lincoln’s bad attitude softens when he meets the no-nonsense, gorgeous woman who has been given the task of transforming him from the gruff, wilderness guy to a suave businessman
SHE’S TRYING TO HOLD IT TOGETHER.
Wren Sterling has been working double time to keep the indiscretions at Moorehead Media at bay, so when she’s presented with a new contract, with new responsibilities and additional incentives, she agrees. Working with the reclusive oldest son of a ridiculously entitled family is worth the hassle if it means she’s that much closer to pursuing her own dreams. What Wren doesn’t expect is to find herself attracted to him, or for it to be mutual. And she certainly doesn’t expect to fall for Lincoln. But when a shocking new Moorehead scandal comes to light, she’s forced to choose between her own family and the broody, cynical CEO.

I adored Bane, Lex, and Griffin, but I LOVED Lincoln! He is rough and gruff and is a bull in a china shop. He is abrasive and aggressive and ALL man. He made my heart pitter patter from the beginning to the very end!
Wren was so much fun. I liked her take charge personality and how she handled the super dysfunctional Moorhead family; especially Armstrong. She was exactly what Lincoln needed.
I really enjoyed Lincoln and Wren’s story. It was so much fun to read. I loved the witty banter, the heat, and the swoonalicious moments between them.
Helena Hunting has became one of my most favorite authors. I can always count on her stories to captivate me and take me to another world where perfect men and happily ever afters exist. I can’t wait to see where she takes me next!

Handle with Care is the perfect blend of angst and hilarity. Anyone who has read any of the books in the Shacking Up series probably hates Armstrong Moorehead. Lord knows I do so that made me so much more curious about his brother, Lincoln. How could I possibly love a character who’s brother might be my least favorite character of all time? It’s easy actually because Lincoln is the BEST!! He’s a humanitarian, he loves his family, and he is H.O.T. Seriously, he might be my favorite in the entire series.
Wren is so fierce!! HH writes some pretty amazing leading ladies and Wren definitely fits in with the rest. She stands her ground, she knows some crazy self defense moves, and she goes for what she wants.
I can’t imagine two characters more perfect for each other than Linc and Wren. I was glued to my kindle from start to finish. This book is worth every single second of time and sleep I lost reading it. I am totally addicted to this series and don’t want to see it end. After Handle with Care, I could even go for a HEA for Armstrong (what??!!)!!! This world is one I’d be happy to visit forever.
I have so much love for the entire Shacking Up series, every book has been incredible in their own way the couples and the stories just incredible!!
Handle With Care the newest release stars Lincoln (Armstrong’s brother, the Mills brothers cousin of which he is Griffin best friend) we met him in Making Up. I instantly liked him and his friendship with Griffin they banter a lot which was great!!
Lincoln is asked to take over running the family business after his Dad passes away, this is the last thing he wants but he will not let his G-Mom down. Wren has been with the company for a few months handling Armstrong and boy does she ever keep him in line. She was asked to stay on to assist Lincoln ease into running the company. These two banter and butt heads from the very beginning, along with some electric chemistry but I so loved them together. We see some huge tantrums from Armstrong and some bullying from their Mother Gwendolyn, she was a witch one way or another in all the books. The entire cast of characters in the story so deepen the story!! The was a new person introduced that I would love to see their story!! No spoiler
This story was a fantastic ride from begging to the very end. And the epilogue perfection!!
This was one of my most anticipated reads of the summer, and it didn’t disappoint. HH is one my go-to authors when I need to smile or melt. Wren is hilarious, and Lincoln is one of my favorites from the Shaking Up series. He’s impossible not to like.
5 STARS
I loved every word in this amazing book. Handle With Care is book 5 in the Shacking up Series. Lincoln Moorehead’s personality is so far removed from his douche of a brother, Armstrong. I couldn’t get enough of Wren Sterling. She is everything I adore in a lead female character. She’s intelligent, strong willed and has no issues tackling aggressive people, which works well being Armstrong and Lincoln’s handler (more so because of Armstrong).
The chemistry between Lincoln and Wren is off the charts! You will be satisfied and entertained throughout this book. Handle With Care is an EPIC read, which doesn’t surprise me since Helena Hunting wrote it and I’ve loved all of her books! Handle with Care by Helena Hunting will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
Handle With Care had me hooked from beginning to the end. The story is easy to follow, fun, office romance, a tad bit of family drama, and secrets. I really liked Lincoln and Wren, they were fun, both hard working, and steamy together. Seeing past characters was good too. It was so entertaining, and enjoyable to read.
I received this from Netgalley!
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Handle With Care has it all!! So don’t hesitate. Just go get it. You’ll laugh and shake your head and sigh and maybe even get teary-eyed. It’s perfection.
I’m seriously in love with all things Lincoln and Wren. They had some of the BEST banter of any duo I’ve read lately. This was a definitely a book with lots of push pull between the characters. They are both attracted to the other from the start, even if they don’t want to be. They are both dealing with secrets their families are keeping. Both have to deal with Lincoln’s dysfunctional mother and brother. Seriously if there were ever two more morally bankrupt individuals it has to be Gwendolyn and Armstrong Morehead. How Lincoln turned out so normal is a testament to the incredibleness of G-mom, who I loved!
When Lincoln and Wren give in to their attraction all holds are off! They are HOT together and I absolutely loved Wren’s obsession with Lincoln’s chin dimple! They both distracted the other in the best ways. Throw in the way they both put Armstrong in his place with a well placed barb, or in Wren’s case a quick Krav Maga move, and well I was highly entertained from GO. The element of family secrets both broke my heart and kept me turning the pages. This story had it all for me and I loved every morsel. I’m definitely a #LincolnLover for life!
I adored this couple! this is my favorite out of this series for sure! I loved Lincoln and Wren, their chemistry and love was off the charts!!
Although is the fifth of a series it can be read as a standalone. Since it was my first of this series I’m glad I don’t have to know much back story.
Wren Starling has been hired by Moorehead Media to handle repercussions of scandals associated with Fredrick’s younger son. Old Fredrick passes away and Lincoln, his older son, comes back for the funeral and he’s asked to help with the company for a few months.
Lincoln has no interest in living in the city, only a few months and he’s going back to his own projects. Will it be? So now Wren’s job as a PR includes getting both brothers out of trouble. Plus getting a better relation with her own mother.
Armstrong the younger selfish sex addict son will make you wonder about how Lincoln is so different. Would love to read more about Armstrong though. Maybe mother Gwendolyn Moorhead should answer our question. Not a very good person, although I could learn why she is this way behind her story. Wren who knows how to stand up for herself, little by little does win Lincoln’s heart. Lincoln after learning how Wren ticks, they are good for each other and feel good together 🙂
Not trying to spoil so, very easy to read book, with a little comedy and romance fun, excellent for the summer.
The perfect summer read. I fell in love with this book. The characters were easy to relate to and I loved their personalities. The plot was planned perfectly and I enjoyed the pace of the book. The story is a twist on an office romance. I was hooked after only a few pages and I adore Helena’s writing style. She is an author that definitely stands out amoung the rest.
Handle With Care by Helena Hunting is book 5 in the Shacking UP Series. This is the story of Lincoln Moorehead and Wren Sterling. I have read the previous book but felt this could be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Lincoln’s father has passed and his grandmother has asked him to help run the family business because his younger brother would not be able to handle it without running it into the ground. Lincoln prefers to work with his hands and stay out of the family drama and business. But he can’t say not to his grandmother and gives in to help out for a while. Wren is in place to make sure that everything is running smooth and there is no scandal that could affect the company. Sparks fly between the two but can these two people that are totally opposite be something more?
Enjoyed their story!
What a book! So much to love about this book. Two incredible characters in a real adult relationship with very little drama. It was unexpected and wonderful. This is a standalone. I have only read one book in the Shacking Up series but was able to not feel lost at all. Several of the characters from previous books do show up in this one, and I’m intrigued enough about them to go back to the beginning.
Lincoln’s dad has just passed away and he is expected to take over the family’s substantial media company. He’s spent the last decade doing good in the world. Wren was hired on originally to deal with Lincoln’s brother, Armstrong, who is a pretty horrible person with a whole lot of bad transgressions. She stays on to help transform Lincoln into a CEO. Their first meet was entertaining, and they spend so much time together that they eventually fall for each other. There is some family drama, but surprisingly, these two characters handled it maturely together.
I loved these characters, the storyline and the writing. It was entertaining, fun and grown up and it was super refreshing. Highly recommend!

This is the only book that I have read in the series but I did not need to read the rest of the books to enjoy this one at all.
Lincoln finds himself back in New York and running the family business after his father’s death. His pain in the ass brother cannot keep his crap together long enough to do it. He doesn’t meet his Mother’s perception and she assigns him a handler to get him in ship shape.
Wren has had her hands full as the PR representative for Armstrong. Suddenly she finds herself with both brothers to looks after. She is damn good at what she does and she won’t let this cranky man ruin that. She has to fight the attraction from day one.
The more time they spend together the more they realize life is easier with them as a team. Just as the lines start to blur more and more secrets come to light. Will the lies pull them apart or bring them closer together.
I see myself going back to read the rest of the series.

Handle With Care by Helena Hunting is another fun addition to the Shacking Up series (but it totally stands alone). Lincoln has a dysfunctional family he has been avoiding for years. Now he suddenly finds himself as the new CEO after his father’s death. The only perk is Wren-the woman assigned to help him get it all together and acclimate to his new role. If you read Hooking Up, you have an introduction to Lincoln’s brother, Armstrong. Oh Armstrong…
The story starts as an adversarial story between a guy who doesn’t need a handler, and the woman who is sure he does. Lincoln doesn’t feel he needs Wren to manage his life; however, he does realize how much easier she makes things. He might not want to admit it to Wren though. There is chemistry between Lincoln and Wren from the beginning! The beginning of the story starts as the hate you, but once they start to admit their feelings, things get HOT. I thought these two were really sweet together. The rest of the drama comes from some issues with Lincoln’s family.
If you enjoy Helena Hunting’s steamy romance and her sassy humor, Handle with Care will be right up your alley! The story is light and low angst and perfect for a weekend binge. Lincoln and Wren compliment each other’s character well and I genuinely enjoyed their story!
Ahhhhhh Dear Helena Hunting… THANK YOU FOR Wren !!! AND THANK YOU FOR LINC! From the first sentences I was sure that it will THIS kind of story… I feel so satisfied right now (HOWRVER it sounds like)..How could I forget ??? Mrs. HELENA never dissapiont!!!
Handle with Care is really amazing – Wren and Linc are perfect!!! They are feisty, they are funny, they are SEXY!!!! And emotional… I can’t say nothing less than “This book is Helena Hunting at the finest”.
I didn’t read this book – I DEVORUED IT in one sitting, I just couldn’t stop. From paige to paige I needed more of Wren, more of Lincoln…. more of this author.
This book seriously smacked me across the face with awesome from the first page. I fell so hard for these characters I still haven’t gotten back on an even footing. As always, this book is a beautifully crafted story of love and growth by Helena Hunting.
Handle With Care is the latest installment in the Shacking Up series, and gives readers the opportunity to get to know Lincoln Moorehead, the brother of everyone’s favorite waste of space, Armstrong. This book, dare I say, is my favorite of the series. I fell in love with Lincoln from the first few pages and haven’t looked back. I also fell for Wren with her first appearance in the book. She is such a strong and powerful female presence, and I loved the way she took charge of her responsibilities and got everyone’s attention.
There was sizzling sexual tension between them and their banter was so fun to read. This book was a one sitter for me. I didn’t intend to read the entire thing in one day but hey, these things happen. As a matter of fact, I think I’m going to go read it again now.
Wow- I couldn’t get enough of Wren and Lincoln. This book had me hooked from the first chapter and I didn’t want to see it end. I loved these characters. Wren is strong, smart and professional, but the sexual tension and chemistry with Lincoln had me turning the pages for more. She is hired by his dad to help with his brother’s antics – which are something else. But when his dad passes away, she is asked to stay on to help prepare Lincoln to lead the company for the next few months. This book had me laughing out loud between the first meeting of Wren and Lincoln, the brother’s antics and Lincoln and his G-mom. There is also some surprises and secrets. This is definitely a new favorite of mine!!!
Handle With Care is the highly anticipated book in the Shacking Up Series by Helena Hunting and where we finally get to know more about the enigmatic Lincoln Moorehead.
I’m the kind of reader that tend to fall in love with the hero first, but this time the heroine was the one that stole my heart-I’m not saying I didn’t love him, because not to love Linc was impossible, but Wren was so loyal, so fierce, that she put Linc a little bit in the shade.
Everyone agrees that second characters play an important role in a story-some of them are loved or hated, but we always want to know more about them. I’m saying this because even though I know Amstrong Moorehead is one of the hated ones, he deserves to redeem himself, so here’s hoping he gets the chance to do it. Also, Hope needs to tell her story. I think it’s obvious I want more books in the series, LOL.
Helena Hunting delivers a story that’s impossible not to devour with all the charm, humor and slow-burn romance it touts. A charming dance between humor and heart that will keep you devouring the pages until the end.

So this was my first Helena Hunting Read! I really enjoyed it! It’s not necessary to read this series in order, which really helped me.
What I loved:
I loved the two characters. At first they are shown to be stark opposites, but you soon realise that both Lincoln and Wren ultimately have the same soft heart and kindness, something left uncorrupted by the worlds they are in.
Wren is strong, decisive and wise while Lincoln is rough, complicated and misjudged.
I really liked how amazingly the two characters came together! It made the story for me.
The only thing I found a little off was the length of the book. Certain scenes were a little too detailed.
But that’s all I can say, because this office romance gripped me from cover to cover. I can’t wait to pick up more books written by this author!

~REVIEW~
The Quick and Dirty: Surly and sexy alpha male reluctantly takes over his father’s company and accidentally falls in love with his sharp-as-a-tack, no-nonsense handler.
Lincoln hates that he’s being called in as interim CEO after his father’s unexpected death. He also hates the fact that his grandmother hired him and his brother a PR “handler”. He doesn’t need a babysitter. But as she becomes more and more a part of his life, he can’t seem to do without her. Wren, on her part is sassy, whip smart, and without knowing it, falls for the man who was such a pain in her ass in the beginning. The story starts off a little slow, though still entertaining, with the drama about halfway through the book. It’s a quick and easy read that is perfect for those last few days lounging at the beach! Another great Helena Hunting novel.
