Jessie lets everyone believe that she doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her. It’s easy to do if you keep everyone at arms length. Most people see her tattoos, piercings and multi-colored hair and come to their own conclusions about her. Why bother even trying to correct them? It’s easier to hide your demons if people don’t look past your armor. She has her best friend and a pseudo-brother, she … she doesn’t need anyone else.
Or so she thought, until a certain stubborn man decided that she was the one that he wanted. And once a Ross sets his mind to something, there’s no turning back. Even if they’re opposites in every way.
Ben isn’t a man who gives up easily. Once he knows what he wants, he goes for it and never looks back. Unfortunately, a certain woman is as stubborn as she is beautiful and she keeps ignoring his very existence. Too bad for Jessie that his momma taught him to never give up.
Can two people who are the very definition of opposites give into what everyone else sees plain as day? That opposites attract and stick like magnets? Or will old insecurities let life drop the Hammer on them?

Jessie is a beautiful guarded woman who sees the beauty in everything. Coming from a broken home with parents whom shamed her and called her names, she was hell bent on making out of the trailer park and become something of herself. She’s done just that but still wears her scars on her sleeve. She meets a blind date for drinks and he’s being a prick, when she gulps her drink down and gets up to go said dat thinks he’s gonna score, he’s not. He makes a scene and calls her names and insults her in front of everyone at the bar. Jessie is too shocked to say something when Ben steps in and handles it for her, they start talking and drinking and one thing leads to another and they end up in bed together. Jess blames it on the alcohol while Ben is upset that she just up and left. Ben is determined to make her his and show her how beautiful she is inside and out. Original and beautiful. Made me tear up just as much as it made me long he’d out loud. Meet the crazy brothers and Dee, there are no words to describe Dee but omg I love her and her crazy ideas.

Best one yet! Holy moly, with each book Nikki Mays gets better and better! Her dialogue screams to be read out loud, I would love to listen to the audio books just for that alone. Jessie and Ben are my new favorite couple, I know I say that every time but each time it is very, very true! Jessie has intrigued me for a while. Her tattoos and wild hair color, piercings are a mask to hide behind. She expects to be judged and is rarely disappointed. Ben doesn’t want to get involved with anyone, it would disrupt his very orderly life. That is until he spends one night with Jessie and he is unable to get her out of his head. Jessie wants to forget that night ever happened. Not because it was bad but because it wasn’t going to go anywhere. She was bound to get hurt if she starts wishing for things that aren’t going to happen. They are too different but Ben isn’t going to give up that easily. He has got his work cut out for him with this stubborn woman. Bonus to this hilarious story is we get to check in with some characters from previous books. Not to mention, we get to meet some new ones that I am pretty sure are going to get their own books soon. There just aren’t enough stars available to truly express how much I loved Hammered, it deserves all of them!
If you like contemporary romances with laugh out loud moments, Mamas who tell it like it is and fantastic sexual chemistry then look no further. Nikki delivers every single time. What really strikes me when reading her books is that family is everything. They are not perfect but they will always have your back. Ben is stubborn and one of those guys that you cannot help but like and he worms his way into Jessie’s heart just like he will worm his way into yours. These two are amazing together. Go out and gets these books – this is book 2 in the series but there is a whole other series (characters are in these stories) and read laughing until you cry.

4*
Jessie is on the date from hell when Ben steps in. The two end up drink the night away.
Two complete opposites but plenty of chemistry.
Ben isn’t looking for forever but when shes gone the next morning he questions himself.
I really love the banter and relationship between this family.
I definitely recommend reading these books.
Great story

“Hammered With You” Book 2 of Nikki Mays’ Ross Brother’s Trilogy is an incredibly funny and sexy read. There’s just something about the characters that she writes that will draw you in and keep you coming back for more.
In this book we get to know hardworking, clean cut, meticulous, sexy as sin Ben Ross. He’s a tall glass of bearded muscular sexy man with a side of naughty goodness. We really like him.
Then there’s Jessie, sweet, sweet Jessie. She a sassy spitfire with colorful hair, tons of tattoos, and body piercings. She is loyal and dedicated to her friends and dog Dragon. We adore her.
After they get hammered and hook up, Jessie skips out and avoids any and all contact with Ben like it’s her job. Ben isn’t about to let her get away with it and goes complete stalker mode on her a**. Nothing will stop him from getting her to fall and fall hard for him just like he’s fallen for her. A fantastic drama free, five star read. TBR and enjoy and if you haven’t read Book 1 “Nailed By You” yet, get on it. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)
Another Ross brother finds his woman….he just needs to convince her first
So first off let’s just admire the smoking hot cover photo……YOWSA!!! Now on to the story and review…..
Hammered with You is the second book in the Ross Brother’s Trilogy and is the story of Ben and Jessie. I fell in love with this couple as they are complete opposites but yet they fit together like two jigsaw puzzle pieces, once they both finally figure out that what they are feeling is real and cannot be ignored. Along the way there are some laugh out loud moments, romance, family, friends and more.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
A well written, entertaining, captivating, engaging, exciting, funny, witty, and emotionally deep read. There is lots of drama, back and forth, ups and downs, and more and is guaranteed to hold your interest from start to finish. The characters you will love and root for; there is a beautiful dynamic and sizzling chemistry between them. Quite enjoyable and strongly recommended.

I Looooved this book!! It is hard to put down. The author creates great chaeacters that work well together. You will be laughing, crying, and screaming throughout the entire book. Dee is back at it again meddling in her son’s lives and creating havoc wherever she goes. This time around Ben is falling for Jessie’s his soon to be sister in laws best friend. Jessie doesn’t see it as dating or him moving in, however Ben institutes himself in everything Jessie until she can’t resist him. Reading this book you are transported into the book and feel like you are right there with each character. By the end of the book you are laughing so hard that you are rolling. I can not wait until the next book in the series.

What a wild ride! These are always so much fun. Ben and Jessie were absolutely fantastic!! They had crazy hot chemistry and cracked me up. I also love to always see old characters again. The whole group is just hilariously dysfunctional. Loved this once again!

I love Jessie and Ben. They are absolutely the perfect pair. I love Jessie’s snark, style and attitude. She is so sweet, kind and caring. She wears her heart on her sleeve but covers it in sass. I love Ben. Once he figures out what he wants, he will not be swayed. The writing in this book is excellent. While I love the couple so much, what makes the book is the family. I love that we get to revisit with Mason, Noah, Kellie, DEE, Elle, Kayla, Marc and the whole gang. This book puts a smile on your face but more that that it puts a smile in your heart. I love that we get to meet new friends, Edge, Mac and Dragon. There are so many fun things that I note as being my favorite quotes that it is impossible to pick just one or two, especially without giving too much away. You just have to read this one for yourself to find our about Dragon and his favorite sweaters or about how Ben buys Dragon more manly sweaters or about how such a sweet (cue evil grin here) grandmother ends up dating the president of the local MC.

This book comes highly recommended. Ben is a person who is basically OCD about things. To him Everything has its place. But when he meets Jessie, he realizes that maybe his life could be a little less organized. These two have a spark that could set fire to anything in its path. Do not miss out on this amazing second book in the series.

Hammered by You: The Ross Brothers Trilogy -Book One by Nikki Mays. Jessie and Ben are amazing individuals but as a couple- pure heat! This story has a little something of everything good (drama, humor, charming characters, and heat). The chemistry between the main characters is unmistakable and the banter between the two was great. I love how easy it was to read this book and enjoy it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jessie is a hairstylist that is happy with her life and doesn’t expect much more! That is until while on a horrible date Ben comes to her rescue! He is gorgeous and nice, but she knows that they are opposites and that they would never work! Only Ben has decided that she is the one and will do whatever it takes to make her his! Another great book in the series! I would highly recommend it!

I abso-freaking-lutely love this series and this family of characters! This is Ben and Jessie’s story of a one night stand turned into something so much more. Ben was relentless and determined to win Jessie over. She was just as determined to not let him into her heart. You get it all in their story: heat, love, a bit of drama, plenty of laughter, and a fantastic HEA. I really felt Jessie’s emotions about her childhood and loved how Ben proved her wrong about herself and them. Everyone should read this series, this is book 2, and I promise that you will fall in love with all of the characters, especially Dee. Lol.
OMG! How have I missed this author for so long!!! This book was simply amazing! When I started this book, I didn’t have high hopes; I had a horrific headache I was trying to escape, and I needed to complete this review. By the middle of the first chapter, I was hooked! I was able to completely forget my pain and be immersed in the story. I often found myself laughing out loud at the characters and their dialogue. The Ross family is just wonderful, as are all their friends. I loved how sneaky Ben was with Jessie. And I loved how clueless Jessie was half the time! This was the first book by Nikki Mays that I’ve read, and I didn’t have any trouble following the story despite it being the second in the series. But still, I’m off to binge read the rest of her books!

This is the 2nd book in the Ross brothers trilogy and was just as good as the 1st book. This one Jessie and Ben’s story. Ben has always gone for whatever he wanted and not taking no for an answer. When he meets stubborn Jessie who won’t acknowledge him, he knows he’s not going to stop until he has her.
