Could Nikki’s son be the child Becky has always longed for? And if he is, can the already fragile bond between the two friends, withstand the heartache?

Predictable but entertaining. A good cozy up against the weather for the evening choice.
This book at three stories in it. The first two were good and complete stories. I liked the characters in the first two and the story lines. I was disappointed in the last one. It was a prequel and left you hanging. You need to read the next book to find out how it all ends.
Great story! Kept my attention and was fun
Great read. Wanted more.
I loved this author will look for more of her books
Nice read for a fun winter day!
The selection contains several stories. One of them I really liked, one was ho hum and one was dark.
only got started but both of what I guess are the main charters made me nuts. One returns to her small hometown with her son, doesn’t want anyone to know she is there to tidy up her mother’s life after the mom dies but stops at the local grocery store for food. Gossip central. Becky, her old high school BF wants to pick up where they were when her friend just ran out of town right after graduation. Becky is totally unaware her HS boyfriend and now husband is the father of the boy (and he knew nothing of the child until he meets him). I just could not relate to such clueless people. Maybe the story gets pulled out after all from such a premise but I didn’t stick around to find out.
I didn’t care for the flow of the book. It was about two supposedly very best friends at one time. I never really felt they were ever close by the actions of the characters. That being said, the story line of the book was such that I had to complete book to find out the ending.
Just when this book was getting good , it ended. They gave you another book to read. I don’t know if I received the entire book
This is a very good book overall; I enjoyed it very much. The characters are very well developed and believable. The plot was well thought out & places you into the shoes of each main character so that you see the story from all directions as there is always more than one side to any story. Now I am anxious to read the next book in the series.
So bad I did not finish. So much of the story is off. The secret of who the father of the baby was. That the two best friends were totally out of contact for so long and then Becky insisting on their jumping right back into a close relationship after the time apart. The fact that Nikki’s other died and she is trying to settle the estate and Becky pushes and insists that Nikki help her with some volunteer work and won’t take no – Ugh! So unrealistic and so annoying. I just put it down and was thankful I did not pay for it.
