These two cats are naked and afraid… But did they also kill their owner? I never signed up to be a private investigator with a snarky, talking cat for a partner, but there’s no backing down now. Especially considering a prominent politician was murdered pretty much right in my backyard. The only witnesses were the senator’s two hairless cats, Jacques and Jillianne. Normally pets want to help us … Jacques and Jillianne. Normally pets want to help us solve their owner’s murders, but this time it seems the two devious felines might actually be the ones who committed it…
Surprisingly enough, my own partner in crime, Octo-Cat, actually wants to help this time, but he can barely understand our two prime suspects because of their strange Sphyx accents. And I thought speaking tabby was hard!
So, there you have it, even with two successful cases behind me, I really don’t know how I’m going to solve this one. Is it too late to go back and pick another career?

HAIRLESS HARASSMENT is the third book in the Pet Whisperer, P.I. series. I strongly recommend reading them all and in the order of release.
Easy on the brain – not because it was an easy solve, but because it didn’t add to the stress of the day. This is why they are called *cozy* mysteries.
I especially liked the ingenuity of the method of the murder – very unique!
This series is a great little pick me up from the usual and expected. I have loved the three I have read so far and eager look forward to more, more, more.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Hairless Harassment is the third book in the brilliant Pet Whispered P.I. series. Angie and Octo-cat are moving house just as their new next door neighbour is found dead. Once again the duo find themselves right in the middle of the murder investigation. Octo-cat is his usual hilarious self and my heart broke for the two sphinx cats. I absolutely love this series and it just keeps getting better. I definitely recommend this brilliantly written, original book with great characters .. it is a delightful cozy mystery with laugh out loud moments.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. Another fun story to read that Angie and Octo-Cat are drawn back into finding a murderer by talking to the victims cats. A great series to read for the adventure Angie and Octo-Cat take. Cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
In Hairless Harassment Angie, Nan and Octo-Cat move into Octo-Cat’s former home. Angie, Octo-Cat, Nan, Angie’s Mom and the senator’s hairless cats investigate the death of Angie’s next door neighbor, the very popular senator. The woman had no known enemies. Was her death an accident rather than murder. Be prepared to be entertained by the Pet Whisperer P.I.
Well Octo-Cat got his wish and they are back living in the mansion where he lived before his human was murdered. This is one spoiled kitty and believes in revenge–big time!! When the owner of the house next door fell to her death it is ruled accidental–but was it? Only her two cats know for sure and even Octo has a hard time understanding them so he can relay information. Nana comes to live with them and Mom–well she is a pain but comes through at the end.
So–did the cats trip their human causing her to fall–they sure seemed to think so. And then Octo almost did the same and boy did he feel guilty-it seems he really does love his human!
So what was it that caused the cats (all three of them) to trip their humans? And was the perpetrator found? You will have to find out by reading this clean and enchanting cozy mystery!!
This book cracked me up! I love Octo Cat and his no nonsense kind of humor. The characters from the animals to the humans are fun and quirky. The mystery is alway fun to try and figure who done it. I love that there are twist and turns that throw the reader of; including the humor that keeps you laughing . I’m so addicted to this series and can’t get enough!
Was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
Angie ad Octo-Cat are moving to Fulton Manor, because Octo-Cat wanted to come back to his previous home. Can Angie and October-Cat solve the murder of Senator Harlow, their new neighbour with the help of her two hairless cats? A dangerous investigation.
I enjoyed it!
I love this series! Quirky, cute, fun! And this installment was all that, but I didn’t love it AS much as books 1 and 2. It’s still very good! Had I not read books 1 and 2 I might have given the full 5 stars. But to mark the difference I gave one star less. I still recommend it wholeheartedly! It had twists and turns and it was very surprising! I enjoyed it!
Another mystery solved
It was so good to catch up with Angie and Octo-Cat. Who knew that a small town harbored so many murderers? Hairless cats do come under the heading “they’re so ugly, they’re cute. I’m glad Angie has a new love/infatuation interest. I think we have many more adventures to come with Angie, Nan and Octo-Cat living under the same roof. Thank you, Molly Fitz, for this fun story. It might be worth the electrical shock to be able to understand what my cat is telling me or am I better off not knowing?
I received an advance copy of this book. The opinions given are my own.
‘A fresh corpse next door. What a housewarming gift!“
Angie, Octo-Cat and Nan are “movin’ on up” to Octo-Cat’s former owner and benefactor’s home. Angie’s a bit freaked out; her old rental could probably fit in one of the seven bedrooms. In some ways, she’s moving into a palace…with a turret bedroom..and a view of the water…and a cat runs the show!
Moving day arrives, and with it comes another murder! Her next door neighbor, Senator Lou Harlow, was found dead at the bottom of her stairs! With no clues, the cops are willing to believe she just got clumsy and an accident occurred, but Angie thinks otherwise. Octo-Cat is even sad..he liked the lady. Her choice of Sphinx cats on the other hand, makes him shudder. But, he’s Angie’s only connection to finding out just what happened. Maybe her mother is right; Pet Whisperer PI May become her moniker….
These books are like snacks: short and sweet. You can read them in a short time and they are very enjoyable. Molly Fitz is a great writer and I hope this series continues a long time! Highly Recommended 5/5
Angie and Octo-Cat are back on the case. This time her mom is in on the action – love how she is trying so hard to bond with her daughter. Who killed the senator and will this duo be able to solve it? Hoping the author gives Angie a romance – soon. 🙂
Angie Russo and her Octo-Cat are at it again trying to solve the murder of her next door neighbor, Lou Harlow, a Maine senator. This story also has two added cats from the crime scene, Jacques and Jillianne. They are sphinxes. I was surprised how this story ended and I was also surprised that Angie bought the Fulton Manor. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
This book is another adventure for Angie and
Octo-Cat. It so happens that it’s a murder and it’s right next door! Angie and Octo-Cat are funny at times and then add Nan to the mix and it’s hysterical. I just love them.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
Octo-Cat and Angie is back to help solve another murder. This time they have the help of two Sphynxes. This story is full of twists and turns and some parts are laugh out loud funny. I love this series.
Another fun adventure with Angie and Octo-cat. This adventure has Angie communing with a couple of Sphynxes to find out who killed their owner. This story is full of twist and turns and the usually mayhem that Octo-cat creates.
Wonderful story that couldnt put down. Interesting cats (Hairless) in this book. Loved it
thought hairless cats were a very unique touch. I’ve never read another book that featured them. The cats have a unique way of communicating and Octo-Cat doesn’t like them because of it. Plenty of twists and turns and comical moments. Loving this series and excited for the next one!
The first 2 books are good but this one is better. Finally Octo-Cat shows he likes Angie & is especially funny. I had no idea “who done it” which I like. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I received a ARC of this book. This is my honest, voluntary opinion.
Hairless Harassment is another adorable cozy murder mystery with talking Octo-Cat and pet whisperer Angie Russo. Angie and Octo-Cat are moving to the house of Octo-Cat original owner house when their neighbor is murdered. They begin investigating the neighbors murder who happen to have 2 Sphinx cats. This story has twists and turns with clever riddles from the Sphinx cat. Enjoyable and a quick read. I received this book as an arc for an honest review of it.
shows some real feelings for his owner, even after a time of crises.
Cute story with a touch of humor, mystery, and growing friendship.
A new investigation, 2 Sphynx cats, and a new home, at least for Angie. Octo-Cat is more than at home, even during the funeral in the yard. (wow).
Glad that Angie and her mom are trying to do more things together, with and without Nan.
