These two cats are naked and afraid… But did they also kill their owner? I never signed up to be a private investigator with a snarky, talking cat for a partner, but there’s no backing down now. Especially considering a prominent politician was murdered pretty much right in my backyard. The only witnesses were the senator’s two hairless cats, Jacques and Jillianne. Normally pets want to help us … Jacques and Jillianne. Normally pets want to help us solve their owner’s murders, but this time it seems the two devious felines might actually be the ones who committed it…
Surprisingly enough, my own partner in crime, Octo-Cat, actually wants to help this time, but he can barely understand our two prime suspects because of their strange Sphyx accents. And I thought speaking tabby was hard!
So, there you have it, even with two successful cases behind me, I really don’t know how I’m going to solve this one. Is it too late to go back and pick another career?

Interesting so I didn’t think it took a little too long to get going and it seemed like it ended rather abruptly but I was looking for something to read and take my mind off of things and it serves the purpose well
A bit silly but ok if you like cats
It’s funny. Great characters well written.
hilarious and fun and absolutely a delight. love octo cat and his person without fur. he’s got sass and flair.
A bit childish; a cat controlling a woman.
The mystery and how the murder was committed was new and good. Having lived with cats I can see it. However, I got tired of the cat with the bad attitude real fast. Maybe I am in a minority but I have never had a cat with such a perverse attitude. I could have done with less of the cat attitude.
Enjoyable cozy mystery!!!!
Fast and Fun Cozy Mystery with Great animals in the mix!
Hairless Harassment (Pet Whisperer P.I. Book 3) by Molly Fitz is a delightful tale of mystery and murder featuring our hero, Octo-Cat and a pair of hairless sphinx cats.
I have been reading this entire series so far and have enjoyed each mystery story. These are fun and fast reads. The stories feature a young paralegal assistant turned private investigator. After an electrical zap at work, our heroine, Angie, discovers she can talk to a cat named Octavious (Octo-Cat for short). Here the adventures begin.
These are light heated mysteries with plenty of plot twists. However the animals steal the show. What I like best is that the author captures the real essence of dog and cat personalities, as well as a few other animals like raccoons, bunnies, and squirrels. The animal’s words and actions are so typical. The stories are rounded out by a cast of human characters who add to the fun. I cannot wait to read more books in this series. Loads of fun and happy reading.
The Pet Whisperer P.I. books by Molly Fitz are fun books that are light, entertaining reads with fun plots. I really enjoyed Angie, Octo-Cat, Nan and Angie’s mom in this book. I wasn’t expecting the book to take the twists and turns that it did so I enjoyed it even more as I really got into it. Octo-cat is quite the character and I never know what’s going to come out of his mouth!
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
An excellent furry murder mystery
Another enticing murder mystery for Angie and Octo-Cat when their next door neighbour a prominent Senator mysteriously dies. This time the culprits could be her two Sphynix who Octo-Cat doesn’t like them because they talk in riddles. Can the pair find out the truth.
I am loving this series and can’t wait till the next book comes out
I really enjoyed Hairless Harassment. This is a fun, interesting mystery. The characters are great. I love Octo-cat. The book is engaging and humorous. The mystery is interesting. There are so many twists that you are kept guessing.
Hairless Harassment by Molly Fitz is a wonderful cozy mystery. Angie Russo and her pet cat, Octo-Cat can talk to each other ever since Angie was almost electrocuted by a coffee maker! But that’s another story! There’s been another suspicious death in the Blueberry Bay area. Can Angie and Octo-Cat solve the mystery/murder? And what’s with the two hairless cats left behind by the murdered senator? Did the cats trip the senator causing her to fall down the steps and die?
I enjoyed this story and the communication between Angie and her cat. This is a slightly different twist to cozy mysteries. Yes, there is a murder, an amateur sleuth and a cat, but what a cat!!! This is definitely a story worth reading.
I really enjoyed this book. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I like the spoilt cat and it is his antics that make this such a great series and very funny. The mystery was good too and I hadn’t worked it out by the end, so plenty to keep you guessing.
Octo-Cat has finally got his own way and he and Angie are moving back into his old home. But on the day of the moving Angie’s mother discovers what she thinks is a murder and she wants Angie and Octo-cat to investigate with her. When Octo-cat learns who the victim was, his previous neighbour he is all for it until he learns in order to solve the case he will have to question her two sphynx cats. Unfortunately as Angie can only talk to him there is no cutting out the middle man or should I say cat. The lady who died was a senator leaving the suspect pool wide open if she was murdered but the police think it was an accident. Moving house is stressful but will proving that she was murdered prove to be even more?
This time, Angie and Octo-Cat are joining forces with Angie’s mom. When Angie’s mom is assigned to cover the death of a politician, that just happens to live next door to Angie, she agrees to look into the matter. Not sure if it is an accident or murder. The politician has two hairless cats that might be a little evil. Octo-Cat is not happy about having to deal with those two. Was it an accident or something more sinister?
What a hilarious, sweet read.
This series is a feel-good series that needs to be read to improve your life, lol.
The characters are quirky and the plots are so much fun to read.
This author has making you laugh and feel-good down pat.
Who doesn’t want to be able to talk to the animals? Angie and Octo-Cat solve murders together. In this story the are looking for the killer of her neighbor, the senator. She needs Octo-Cat to talk to the senator’s hairless kitties. He thinks they talk strange and believes they are the killers. Angie has different ideas.
If you like short, cute mysteries, this one is a great series to get hooked on. Start at the beginning and read them all.
Angie and Octo-Cat are such wonderful characters. I love reading about them solving murders. Really loved reading this one. Loved it…
This one threw for a loop, as soon as I thought it was over and solved in comes the monkey wrench. It’s still pretty good just not as intense as the previous two I’ve read in this fun and entertaining series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.
I’m really enjoying the Pet Whisperer PI series. Angie and Octo-Cat are once again trying to solve a murder. It was nice to see how everyone has evolved from the first to third book. Angie and Octo-Cat may have finally found their way to loving and respecting each other. I love Nan and her feisty attitude. It was nice getting to know Angie’s mom better. Wondering if we’ll ever meet her dad. Glad to see Charles, Bethany, and Brock are still in the picture. I was surprised by whom the murderer turned out to be. There are plenty of twists and turns and I was hooked from page 1 until the end. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Molly Fitz just keeps these wonderful stories coming! Angie and Octo-Cat are involved in another mystery with the death of the senator next door. Was it an accident or murder? Octo-Cat tries to get information from the senator’s two Sphynx cats but they talk in riddles. This is an enjoyable read!
