These two cats are naked and afraid… But did they also kill their owner? I never signed up to be a private investigator with a snarky, talking cat for a partner, but there’s no backing down now. Especially considering a prominent politician was murdered pretty much right in my backyard. The only witnesses were the senator’s two hairless cats, Jacques and Jillianne. Normally pets want to help us … Jacques and Jillianne. Normally pets want to help us solve their owner’s murders, but this time it seems the two devious felines might actually be the ones who committed it…
Surprisingly enough, my own partner in crime, Octo-Cat, actually wants to help this time, but he can barely understand our two prime suspects because of their strange Sphyx accents. And I thought speaking tabby was hard!
So, there you have it, even with two successful cases behind me, I really don’t know how I’m going to solve this one. Is it too late to go back and pick another career?

This was an entertaining, well-written book. Angie has a cat who can talk to her, and together they have helped solve a couple of mysteries. Now a local politician has unexpectedly died and his two cats are the only witnesses. Angie and Octo-Cat find themselves in the middle of this mystery, too! This is book 3 in the Pet Whisperer P.I. series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series.
Hairless Harassment is a diverting tale. Hairless Harassment can be read alone if you have not indulged in the other two Pet Whisperer PI novels. I like Molly Fitz’s engaging writing style which draws the reader right in. There were a couple of slow moments (recounting what happened in the other two books), but otherwise the story proceeded at a snappy pace. The characters are quirky and realistic. Nan is my particular favorite and I just love Octo-Cat’s snarky dialogue. Octo-Cat’s little paybacks are hilarious and give me insight into what my cats are thinking (makes me want to hide my all my Converse sneakers for protection). I liked the way the Sphinx cats talked in riddles which went along with their background. The mystery is straightforward, but I thought the method of murder was clever (and diabolical). With Nan, Angie and Octo-Cat living in the same home, there are bound to be some entertaining adventures in their future. Hairless Harassment is an amusing and playful story guaranteed to brighten your day.
Angie and Octo-Cat are back. These books are still entertaining. Molly Fitz has written these books very well. Still have at least 9 more books in this series, YaY. I can’t wait for the rest.
This is a wonderful cozy mystery! I liked it.. It is sassy and quirky, with really lovable characters.
I voluntarily received an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
Once you start you don’t want to put down
No question this is a five star. Getting your attention and keeping it throughout the story many clues to who done it and very nice explanation to “wrap it up “
You don’t have to read these in order it you will understand background references better. But if you can’t have access to them then don’t give up on this series read the books you can get ahold of.
And easily I can recommend this to my advanced reading preteen friends as no sexual references or no language
Molly’s books are very entertaining. It’s great to laugh out loud at some of the parts.
Angie is moving to her new home which is Octo-Cat’s previous home. This was his deal for solving the last murder. Turns out Angie’s new home is next door to the Senator’s home and she was just murdered – or was she. The Senator was the owner of 2 hairless cats who speak and rhymes and are not really helpful in solving the death.
This is a fast and fun novella where the solution almost turns deadly again. I loved this book!
After the senator’s untimely death, all evidence points to the senators Sphynx cats who are believed to be the murders. But Angie doesn’t believe two cats can possibly take down a full grown man, until she’s on the receiving end of a kitty takedown. Will the cats succeed in taking down Angie next, or is something more sinister at foot? Its up to Angie and Octocat to solve this hairball mystery before its too late.
This is the third book in the Pet Whisperer P.I. and as with the other two, a cute read. Octo-Cat definitely has Angie wrapped around his paw. In this story, the senator is found dead and Angie knows it is murder but needs Octo-Cat to find out what happened from the Senator’s two hairless Sphynx cats Jacques and Julianne. Angie’s mother has pulled her into this case and once she is involved, she can’t walk away. So find out who did it and why.
Breezy whodunit with a great pet detective sidekick
Octocat, the heroine paralegal/amateur detective’s pampered pet and sidekick, is the best part of this series, though there are a few zany human characters that add to the fun. This is a light romp, virtually bloodless really, though a senator’s untimely death is at the heart of the story. Cat lovers should appreciate the pet action, especially finicky Octocat who’s already down a few lives. The writing has a wit and sarcasm to it that I really liked and the author keeps the count of characters fairly low which was another plus for me.
This is another great book by Molly Fitz. This is a great series and I can not wait to get the next one.
I’m really loving this series. Their adventures are great and the relationships are heartwarming. Some really cute “Awww” moments.
This was such a cool read, in spite of the murders. There was a lot going on to try and find the murderers, but the whole team including Octo-Cat got it done. Being able to have a conversation with your pet would be great.
I have been provided with a copy of Hairless Harassment by the author for an impartial review. This is the third book in the brand-new Pet Whisperer P.I. series and I just loved getting to go back into this amazing world. This series keeps getting better and better and I just couldn’t get enough of this story. I just lost myself in this story and I didn’t stop reading until I turned the last page. It was such a short read that you can finish it pretty quickly if you have the time. I will most definitely be reading the next book in the series.
A fun read for cat lovers.
Loved the cat’s viewpoint.
The humans were ok.
I love this series! The more I read them the more I can’t get evough. Angie and Octocat are amazing they solve the case and save the pets. They have fun, argue about things but in the end its all about the love.
Was living in a home of a murder victim such a good idea? Cats to the rescue!
I enjoyed this story. Unusual story line.
fun reading; like this series
