What are readers saying?
–I read the entire eight-novel HADRON series in six days. I couldn’t stop reading even when I needed more sleep.–
–Stephen Arseneault has written a story that’s hard to put down; with believable, well-crafted characters and believable scenarios of normal people caught in desperate circumstances. I like this first book so much I plan on ordering the entire series.–
–I liked it and it terrified me. As I read I know that this is exactly where the world will be in a short time. Made me realize I need some well armed and skilled friends–
–I normally only read hard sci-fi. After reading the 1st HADRON book, I still wasn’t sure this was for me, but I had to find out what was happening next. Believe me, this story just keeps getting better and better!–

Pretty interesting series. At times, the author seems to rush through parts of the story to keep length down. But it is a good read that I will likely read again sometime in the future…
A bit of a cliff hanger, because it doesn’t really introduce how the HADRON system relates to the events in this first volume.
Exciting read, can’t wait until the next one. Really makes you think what you would do under these circumstances, would you be one of the good guys? Would hope no one I know would act as the bad ones did!
Thanks to BookBub for suggesting authors I haven’t had the pleasure of reading before.
Didn’t grab me or keep my interest
Okay
Loved it left me wanting more I tried to down load this book through your Bookbub but I had to go to Amozan and kindle
Could not put it down!
Wasn’t a fan of the change from survival story to alien arrivals.
It was one of the better post-apocalyptic books I’ve read to date -chilling. Makes me want to arm up and bug out NOW! KOTS. High body count may put off some readers, but I think ( unfortunately) pretty realistic. Only gripe is that the characters were SO well prepared-would have been nice to see how regular people could deal.
Wanted to get the sequel, but not available for Nook.
I finished the book! It didn’t make my “get sequel” list though.
a good read
As a pseudoprepper, I found the story line to be a very realistic representation of the (manifold) outcome of an EMP scenario.
I found it a great read, fast paced and a fast page turner!
Loved the book
Really liked this book. This was a believable story and at the same time full of twist and turns,
Loved the characters, and how they reacted with one another. Never knew what was going to happen next Easy to follow. Looking forward to reading the next book.
poorly written, did not finish. the phrase “he sarcastically nodded” finished me off. How is it even possible to nod sarcastically?
This is part of an 8 book series and I loved each one. Very well written and fun to read.
Too much of the same dystopian world. Nothing new. Characters were flat, but I gave it three stars because I finished it.
The Hadron series is wonderful. Science fiction at it’s best. I am currently on book 6 and immensely enjoying them all.
