Welcome back to Hades…So after nearly dying in an attack from Chaos, discovering the truth about Raines, and taking an immense risk to protect him, I’m back for second semester—and just supposed to act like everything’s normal.Except I have a huge secret. And the school’s on probation. Oh, and my hot professor might be trying to kill me.Now I have to save my own skin while hoping my powers … me.
Now I have to save my own skin while hoping my powers finally manifest themselves, and maybe find out what happened to my mom, and where my demon heritage came from in the first place. Basically, nothing is going to be normal ever again.
Oh, and to protect Raines’s and my secret, I’m going to have to do something absolutely insane.
Yeah—I might have a boyfriend now.
Hades Academy: First Semester is a magic academy NA paranormal fantasy novel with a slow-burn romance and a kickass heroine. Although there are love triangles, this is NOT a reverse harem. Rated 18+ for strong language.

The dysfunction in the relationship between Nova and Raines gives me quite pleasant feelings. It’s just that comforting. For me, the story fell apart about three quarters of the way through. I ended up taking a break before finally finishing this title. The end is a mild cliffhanger (I hope). Otherwise it’s a good story.
I received a copy of this book as a gift from the author. This is my honest review.
This book was better than the first book I’ve already pre-ordered these third book in the series. I really enjoyed the surprise ending totally unexpected.
This book is about second semester have a girl who went from being homeless to demon. It stays true to the goal and tells her story as it is.
Nova is just an awesome and a strong lady. Semester 2 had me on the edge of my seat reading it. I was also giggling my way through. These characters and plot just keep getting better and better. I cant wait to read book 3
Hades Academy: Second Semester by Abbie Lyons is an awesome story that I have read. This is book number two in this awesome series and I can not wait to read the next book in this awesome series. This was a great continuation to Hades Academy! After secretly binding her soul to Raines, everyone becomes suspicious and things only get worse during her second semester. Having both her feelings and Raines’ inside of her leaves her confused never quite knowing how she actually feels. She manages to get closer to Callum, not necessarily by choice, and someone wants her dead. I loved watching Nova and Raines work their way through the bond and her learning more about her demon powers and discovering the secrets of Hades Academy. She still has to figure out if Wilder really wants her dead or not and if the school really has a break from Chaos or if the faculty is lying to the students. Her friendship with Morgan and Teddy continues to grow and every time they’re together I have to remember that they’ve only known each other for a short amount of time- they seem so close like family. As the mystery unravels and threats are given, I can’t wait for the next book!

Nova starts out her semester adjusting to her bond to Raines while trying to figure out what Professor Frost wants with her. Learning more about her demon powers and about the demonic hierarchy fascinate Nova and she gets deeper and deeper into the mysteries at Hades Academy. Meanwhile, she gets to know Collum, another of the Infernal Trio, better. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
