I’m like a snowball rolling downhill. That’s the first thing that pops into my mind when I try to explain my life. I don’t know exactly ‘what’ I am, but I do know who I am.At least…I did.Sometimes life sends things your way that upend everything you thought you knew, and then slings you in another direction without any sort of harness or warning.Sometimes it drops someone like me off in the path … drops someone like me off in the path of four wildly different monsters, who all used to be best friends, but now sort of hate each other and compete over absolutely everything, including…me.
Life would be easier if I wasn’t already attached to those four monsters, but they occasionally let their guard down around me, and I get a glimpse of what has to stay hidden under all those snowball layers, since they already rolled downhill a long time ago.
I’m tired of losing people I care about. I’m tired of searching aimlessly for answers. I’m tired of not having the right questions to ask.
I’m really tired of feeling like my vagina is cursed, but that’s obviously lower on the list of priorities. But in my vagina’s defense, it may not do tricks, but I keep it pretty. It shouldn’t keep scaring men/monsters off so easily, and it’s honestly starting to make me feel a little insecure.
Anyway, I’m finally closer than ever to having all the answers. So long as no new secrets emerge.

Another fantastic book in this series. Unfortunately it needs in a cliffhanger, but Kristy works hard to get the next book released. Violet is just as sassy in this book. Definitely some very hot scenes. The storyline continues to keep your attention, making you want more. Looking forward to book 4.
I recommend this book/series!
*** I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this book. ***
An origin read!
She’s finally closer than ever to having all the answers…
So long as no new secrets emerge…
Wonderful story. Great world building.
Mystery. Intrigue. Secrets. Action. Drama. I’m just so glad I have the whole series because these cliffhangers are just so whacked!
Full of monsters, gypsies, secrets, death, ghosts, humour and a hint of romance.
Perfect for readers of paranormal romances.
This series just keeps getting better! Kristy Cunning has a way of writing that keeps you on the edge of your seat and constantly wanting more information. We find out more of what Violet is and where she comes from in this book and it has me only wanting more! The heat between Violet and the guys also kicks up a notch, which is what I have been waiting for. As always the cliffhangers are killer and make you want to immediately continue reading.
Eeeeek!!!! Brilliant! I really had to focus through this read. So many secrets, so many loopholes, so many more questions! I cant wait for what’s next! The angst is killing me. Soooo good!!!! And hot as hell…..
Well, I Didn’t Expect That!!
Gypsy Origins (All The Pretty Monsters Book 3
I am in love with this seriously complex storyline!! As each new piece of information is added to the overall picture it’s getting bigger, more colourful, glow in the dark, 3 D and more dastardly beautiful!!
Origins explained so much more about each of the Alpha’s, their families & Idun!! I’m really hating on her Many, many bombs are dropped & exploded!! Violet has grown physically closer to 3 of the Alpha’s but emotionally she seems closest to two!! The steam factor went way up in this book

I would really like this series of it weren’t for the back & forth internalization of Violet. Does she like them or doesn’t she? She’s all over one and the next minute she is pushing him away. It’s like high school with the “I don’t like you” phrases, but “come chase me” body language. No wonder the Alphas are all confused. I get that they are hundreds of years old, but she plays them. The girl needs to just stick to her guns when it comes to her feelings.
Mysteries unraveling!
Gypsy Origins by Kristy Cunning is book three in the series. This book really starts expanding some mysteries and starts clearing up others partly. Great secrets hidden from our gal! Readers want to know! Lol!
Now this book, this book, is where it starts coming together. This is the one where we understand Violet’s history. We understand the gypsy and monster history (at least to a much greater degree; there’s still secrets). There’s starting to be a (more) complete picture here, rather than just pieces of a puzzle.
Like the other books, it’s fast-paced and picks up right where book 2 ends. It’s the longest of the series so far, at over 300+ pages. Some of the plot comes out of nowhere and keeps you on your feet. Part of that means that the relationships develop independently as informational bombs drop/ people understand what’s happening (which doesn’t necessarily happen all at once or in the group setting). I feel like this is the one where we start seeing past the monsters’ facades a bit more, too.
This one is a cliffhanger. Like, truly a cliffhanger where you also get a little blindsided by the plot. The author does try to ease it with some teaser chapters from book 4, but it still leaves you wanting them desperately. I’m really enjoying this series and looking forward to book 4 in a big way.
