In our world, there are some lines you just don’t cross. New York Times and USA Today Best Seller L. Wilder brings readers a new addition to the Satan’s Fury MC- Memphis series. Get ready for a ‘wilder’ ride. Gus wasn’t just my president. He was the father I never had. He was steadfast and strong. I looked up to him and trusted him without question. I’d never seen the man show a single sign of … up to him and trusted him without question.
I’d never seen the man show a single sign of uncertainty until the day August James showed up at the Satan’s Fury clubhouse. None of us knew why the beautiful brunette had come knocking at our door, but we’d soon learn she was in need of help–the kind of help only a man like Gus could give.
When he didn’t turn her away, it became my job to watch over and protect her. I tried to keep my distance, but she drew me in with her soulful, dark eyes and sultry curves.
I wanted to make her mine, but August had secrets–secrets she didn’t even know she had.
In our world, there are some lines you just don’t cross, but for her, I was willing to cross them all.
Gunner is book five of the Satan’s Fury MC- Memphis Chapter. While this book is a continuation of the novella–Gus: Satan’s Fury MC- Memphis which was included in the Love, Loyalty and Mayhem Anthology, it can be read as a standalone. Gunner is a full-length novel which contains no cheating and a swoon-worthy HEA.

What an absolutely amazing story. I didn’t see any of it happening. I couldn’t put it down once started.
I loved Gunner and August together. You could tell they were suited for each other.
And it was nice to hear what happened to Gus and Samantha.
I highly recommend this book.
I think this should be called Gus & Gunner and rightfully so! After leaving us heartbroken and hanging in Gus L. Wilder completely makes up for it with this epic story. The revelations that come to light are astounding
A nonstop thrilling, action packed, suspenseful, keeping on the edge of your seat, romance that leaves you breathless. I loved every single second of this book. L. Wilder is an amazing storyteller that certainly knows how to capture your attention and your heart.
Great read, the twist that August and her Mother has with Memphis Satan’s Fury was so good and of course Gunner with August made this story pretty special. I loved this story!
Love anything to do with “Satan’s Fury”! This author is a true storyteller.
When August James’ mother sends her to Memphis looking for a clubhouse and a guy named Gus, all she could do was trust her mother’s instinct that this guy could help her. Gunner seeing August in the clubhouse throws him, as she is the lady he just threw some corny lines too, now hearing that she is there looking for Gus and has a problem has Gunner’s interest piqued even more. When Gus puts Gunner in charge of keeping August safe, he will do everything he can to make sure that he doesn’t let Gus down. Will Gunner be able to keep August safe? Can the MC help August with her problem?
What a ride this book takes you on! So much drama, danger, violence, secrets, and steamy naughty bits. It’s everything you want in an MC story. I am so excited to get the rest of Gus’ story and to see where this series ends up. I give this 4 stars.
I just love this series. This book is full of action, secrets and so much sexiness. August needed the club’s help to hind Harper. She didn’t think she would fall in love with Gunner. I just love all the characters. Can’t wait to read what happens next.

Gunner was the fifth book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury Memphis series. It can be read as a stand-alone.
Gunner was a patched member of the MC. He was the typical gorgeous, loyal and protective alpha that we expect. He was a war vet who didn’t find his place back in the world until he found the Satan’s Fury MC.
August James was an elite damsel in distress that was sent to the MC’s President, Gus, for protection. She was gorgeous, smart, strong and completely independent. The MC life was like nothing she had ever experienced but she recognized good loyal men when she saw them.
As expected, Gunner was well written and well developed with suspenseful plots. It was a fast read and I enjoyed all characters and sub plots. Wilder took us through several storylines to get to the end. I was thrilled to have read Gus, a short story within the Love, Loyalty and Mayhem anthology, prior to reading Gunner. It wasn’t necessary but it introduced some key characters and provided insight into how August could have been directed to Gus. Again, it wasn’t necessary, but added to my excitement.
Although I enjoyed the entire storyline, I at first felt there were too many gaps around Gus’s storyline that were crucial to Gunner and August; however, Wilder gave us just enough to mesh with the overall saga but left enough details so that it could be completed with Gus’s full story in a future release. It made more sense, but I still craved more depth and connection.
All in all, it was a quick, light hearted and action packed MC read.
4 stars
As usual, Wilder delivers a story to get you in the feels on multiple layers. I’m a huge fan of this writer’s stories because of the complexity she brings to the characters; they’re always richly layered, a little broken, a little lost, a lot loveable. Gunner and Aggie (plus Gus) were so easy to fall for!
When Gunner returned from his time in the military, he experienced what a lot of our veterans feel, the sense that the world has stayed the same but he no longer fits in it. He’s seen too much, done too much, lived too much and his family just expects him to slide right back in where he left off. Meeting Gus gave him a family and purpose. He’s got his club and his brothers, he doesn’t think he needs anyone else; until the one girl he can’t have walks into the clubhouse.
August James didn’t even realize she had secrets but things never stay hidden forever. When her daughter goes missing, she must go to a man she didn’t know existed to ask for help. Walking into the clubhouse of a biker club was intimidating but she’d do anything for her daughter. While the club searches for Harper, Aggie gets to know the man assigned to protect her. She’d definitely attracted to the man but he intrigues her even more. They both seem to have some broken pieces and maybe they’re the only ones who could ever fit.
Great new story from L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury: Memphis chapter!! Loved catching up with all the brothers and seeing the sweet, sexy Gunner fall. Definitely enjoyed the story within the story on one of the other club members as well!
AnnMarie – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
Another absolutely amazing story by this author!! This series just keeps getting better and better and I loved getting a glimpse of Gus and why the way he is. Cade “Gunner” has an instant connection to August but she is so frazzled on their first meeting she doesn’t give him the time of day. August is so distraught over the kidnapping of her little girl, Harper, she is beside herself. Once that is explained and the connection between Gus and August, Gunner backs totally off. Gunner knows he hast to keep August at the distance but it is so damn hard when she is delectable and Harper in the equation and Gunner is a goner. The way Gunner interacts with Harper melts my heart. This book is full of intrigue, suspense mobsters, corrupt politicians and horrible fathers. Will Gunner get his HEA with August and Harper? Well he cross lines that there is no coming back from? I look forward to more from the Memphis chapter. I highly recommend this book and this series!!

Gunner is the fifth book in the Satan’s Fury MC: Memphis chapter. August and Gunner’s story is full of intrigue, danger, suspense and action.
August’s life is in turmoil and when she needs help her mother sends her to see Gus the President of the Memphis chapter of the Satan’s Fury MC. With her life in crisis the last thing she is looking for is romance. August is sweet, resilient and loving.
Gunner swears to protect August, and whilst in close proximity sparks fly between this pair. He’s sweet, sexy, loyal, dependable and kind. The connection between this pair is undeniable.
Their story is an angsty yet sweet forbidden romance of love, family and loyalty, and much like the previous titles in this series it has plenty of heat and heart and I will be eagerly awaiting the next addition to this series.
Book five of the Satan’s Fury MC – Memphis Chapter series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Secondary characters are the other members of the motorcycle club, with club business storyline weaved throughout the series. Each book is about a different club member and finding their HEA. Full length told in dual POV. When August comes to the club house looking for help from an old friend of her mothers Gunner is assigned to looking after her. I loved that this story had August and Gunner spending a lot of time getting to know one another with no angst between them. The only drama was between her ex husband and his shady connections. Gunner was awesome with August and Harper. Super sweet epilogue!
Gunner and August are amazing. Theyre connected through more ways than one and don’t even know it. L makes this action packed, sexy, page turner one youll never forget!!
Gunner is two stories wrapped in leather and chrome. Not only do we take a ride with Gunner on his way to finding his forever but we finally get some answers to Gus and Samantha that we had been dying to find out. As chaos and turmoil comes knocking on the doors of Satan’s Fury clubhouse, it might just be what Gunner has been searching for but might also be an awakening for Prez. Gunner and August’s story will have you on the edge of your seat, will tear at your heart and will give you some answers that have been plaguing you throughout this series. A gritty MC romance that brings mayhem, uproar and havoc at its best to show the loyalty and love the brothers of Satan’s Fury have for family. A story that is not only action packed but full of love, compassion and chemistry.
Oh my word. What an amazing story. Bikers have a bad name in society I’m sure some are really bad, but the men in this book are to die for bad boys. How adorable is a big bad biker when he plays with a little girl. Harper is so adorable. Some fathers should be hanged by their toes. Especially when they endanger their kids. I hated that the book came to an end. Read all about the mob. Corrupt politicians. Big bad bikers. Thank you for this awesome story
I loved August and Gunner!
Such a sweet couple who I hope to see more of in Gus and Samantha’s story. (I’m sure we will.)
These two really meet when she shows up at his clubhouse looking for Gus. She needs help and her mother sent her to him.
Oh no!
What happened you ask?
You’ll just have to read this one to find out.
This one ends with a happily ever after! And it has such a sweet epilogue which I enjoyed.
I highly recommend this one. It is book 5 and can be read on its own. OR enjoy it even more by reading them in order.
Lies. Secrets. And more romance then I originally thought I’d receive. But it was all so good. Gunner is the newest book in the Satan’s Fury: Memphis series. It was a story filled with suspense and interesting twists. It was also sweet with characters that I found myself really liking (the good guys any way, but L. Wilder also really knows how to write a bad guy that you love to hate.)
I loved that I not only got to learn about Gunner but also got another MC member’s back story too. It was almost like getting two stories in one.
I always enjoy picking up a book by this author because I know that it’s going to be well written and keep me engaged. I find them easy and rather quick reads simply because I don’t want to stop reading until it’s done. I definitely recommed this book to people who enjoy this author and fans in general of MC and/or contemporary romance.
Such a great read! I was hooked on Gunner from the start and the connection with August was amazing. The story keeps you on your toes, completely pulled in to the Satan’s Fury world. A must read story!

A great start to a new series and a must read. You will fall in love with Blade!! I voluntairly reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Steamy romance, major suspense, and a bit of sweetness! L. Wilder has once again left me with a massive book hangover. As always I was entirely glued to this book. Between Gunner and August’s blossoming love and the suspenseful blows that just kept coming there was no stopping for me once I started reading this.
Gunner is everything I love all wrapped in one hot biker package. There’s no hiding his bad@#$ness, but there’s also a sweetness to him that really made me love him. With both his past that made him the man he is and how he treats both August and her daughter he was irresistible in my eyes.
