No husbands allowed Only minutes after Abbie Elliot and her three best friends step off of a private helicopter, they enter the most luxurious, sumptuous, sensually pampering hotel they have ever been to. Their lavish presidential suite overlooks Monte Carlo, and they surrender: to the sun and pool, to the sashimi and sake, to the Bruno Paillard champagne. For four days they’re free to live … live someone else’s life. As the weekend moves into pulsating discos, high-stakes casinos, and beyond, Abbie is transported to the greatest pleasure and release she has ever known.
What happened last night?
In the morning’s harsh light, Abbie awakens on a yacht, surrounded by police. Something awful has happened–something impossible, unthinkable. Abbie, Winnie, Serena, and Bryah are arrested and accused of the foulest crime imaginable. And now the vacation of a lifetime becomes the fight of a lifetime–for survival. GUILTY WIVES is the ultimate indulgence, the kind of nonstop joy-ride of excess, friendship, betrayal, and danger that only James Patterson can create.

Two men writing about three stereotypical women.
Always like James Patterson’s books – this is a good read but not as enthralling as some of his earlier books.
I love James Patterson books, & I read a lot of his books. I thought some parts of the story was sad. I love how James Patterson gives you a look inside how French prison guards treat their prisoners. I loved Abbie’s toughness & I love how she never gave up on clearing her & her friends names. The only problem I had with this story is …
It’s been a while (and quite a few books) since I read this book, but it is still in my memory. A wonderfully original story about what could go wrong on a ‘Girls Weekend”
Every time I put it down, I could not wait to pick it back up and see what was going to happen next.
Though there is more sex in this one that I am comfortable with, the mystery/crime story line was thrilling. The premise was great, and the twisty turns moved the story at a break neck speed. I had to devour this in only one day!
This book put me on a roller coaster ride, and I enjoyed every second of it.
Really good read with different story line.
This book is full of surprises, a real page turner.
I always like James Patterson’s books. A good read, lots of twists and turns. Surprise ending.
I’m very much a James Patterson fan. This was different in a lot of ways but you continued to read to see what was next. The Woman’s Club & Alex Cross for my favorite.
Excellent book couldn’t put it down.
Not up to par with most Patterson books very slow reading and not very well thought out, very disappointing.
I was very disappointed in this book. I have read most James Patterson books and several that he has co-authored with David Ellis. This was not the page Turner that I have come to expect from Paterson. I also found the main characters unlikable and after a while I really didn’t care what happened to them.
A must read. I couldn’t put it down
This was a good story. I really hated those husbands which meant the book was well written. I really thought it would end anther way but liked how it turned out. Very different take on a wild adventure that went very wrong!
I couldn’t put this book down. It was a very fast read. Just when I thought I had something figured out, a new twist occurred. Great summer vacation read or one to get your mind off of other things.
Usually I enjoy James Patterson ‘s writing, but did not care for this one.
Couldn’t put it down, great read
Wasted of my time reading it. I seldom buy Patterson anymore except when he writes with co-author that I have found to have paired well with Patterson. The plot was hard to believe and contrived. If I wanted a travelogue featuring Monaco and the French Riviera, I would have bought a travel book. I wish I stopped reading early on rather than …
Lots of unexpected turns!
