Guilty as Sin is the second book in New York Times bestselling author Meghan March’s epically romantic and addictive Sin Trilogy.Guilty until proven innocent. That’s the way the world works, right?I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable. The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules. If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln … forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

If you didn’t figure out in Rich as Sin that nothing is going to go easily for Lincoln and Whitney, then Meghan March is here to really bring that home in this book. Just when you think they maybe–possibly–can be together, March wallops you with a cliffhanger that does not bode well.
As the second book of this trilogy, Guilty as Sin has a simple role: keep the narrative moving and build to the third book. In that regard, Meghan March does a solid job. You learn more about Lincoln and Whitney, particularly about their romantic background. March fills in some blanks and answers some questions. You feel like you know those two better than you did when you finished Rich as Sin, which shows that she knows what she’s doing.
She sure knows how to write the sexy times. Strap on your vibrators, girls, because the sex scenes in this book will leave you with NEEDS. Let’s just say that Lincoln has spectacular skills.
While you do get some answers, you end this book with the same question you had at the end of Rich as Sin. If anything, you’re more desperate for the answer because Meghan March stokes your curiosity, building and building and building more and more tension.
If you haven’t discovered Lincoln and Whitney, you must. I think this might be my favorite Megahn March series so far.
My whole feelings about this book can be wrapped up by saying “Damn you Meghan March, I need book 3 now!”
Meghan is becoming the queen of the cliffhanger and just when I thought she couldn’t leave me any more flabbergasted than she did after book one she takes it to the next level and Y’all!
Guilty As Sin picks up right where (thank goodness) book one, Richer than Sin, left off. The Riscoff family is in turmoil over a shocking announcement and Whitney is left reeling in the aftermath. What did I love about Guilty As Sin? I loved the fact that Whitney comes into her own in this book. She discovers that her life is just that HERS and she is not beholden to anyone. I loved watching her discover who she is on her own and finding her passion again. Lincoln is a man who learns the hard way, meaning he needs a few lessons to get things through his ‘thick skull’. Do I love him for that yes, but at the same time, I totally feel Whitney in the “we’ve been here before” feelings.
I loved the background info we got, we go really deep especially with Whitney this book and I feel like I really understand who she and Lincoln are both together and alone. This one is pretty angsty which isn’t my favorite thing in a book, angst just makes my heart hurt, lol, but I understand the need for it here. We need to truly feel what these two characters feel so that we can accept their development and like I mentioned above there is a lot of it this book.
The one thing I don’t get… I don’t get the angry cousin. It completely throws me off. I understand both the Riscoff’s and Gamble family frustrations, their long lasting ‘feud’ but the cousin, why. I’d like to understand the reasoning behind that, I’d also like to see someone stand up to her. They coddle her and I don’t know why. When she goes against Whitney’s wishes and says she will do something that could ultimately harm Whitney I don’t know why her family doesn’t shut her down. This “I”ll talk to her” behavior needs to turn into a “I’m gonna kick her butt” behavior. She’s a brat and I am sure there is a reason but for the life of me I can’t figure it out and it’s starting to piss me off because there don’t even seem to be clues. When something like that sticks out more than some of the other aspects, to me that is a bit of a challenge. It’s still a total 4 star read for me because I love Whitney and Lincoln and some of their family members but the cousin, yeah…she knocks things down a star in my opinion. Give us something, anything to give a clue as to the behavior. I’m sure someone will come and tell me I just missed it, but that’s how I feel right now after finishing and not understanding.
Back to what I love, Whitney and Lincoln are a fire burning hot and fierce. I love these two together and know that when they can see past their own histories and past their fears and beliefs, when they finally learn to trust they are going to be one of my all time favorite couples!
This series is a fantastic read, it is total cliffhanger city so if you can holding off till you have all three in hand and can read the full story straight through is the way to go. This waiting is SO hard. Things are going to get turned a direction we didn’t see coming when we started book 2, but honestly if you are a Meghan March fan you wouldn’t expect anything else. There’s always a “Ah-Ha, now see there I got you!” moment and I know she’s just sitting back and laughing at all of us as we lose our minds!
I’m a new reader to Meghan March but I’ve got to say, if all her books are this amazing, my bank account is about to take a major hit because I’m hooked!!
If you thought Richer Than Sin was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, you better make sure you’re ready for the ride of your life because Guilty As Sin is even more delicious!!
Lincoln and Whitney are still trying to piece together everything that has happened the last ten years of their lives apart from each other. Whitney finally comes clean to Lincoln as to what her role in the marriage to her ex husband truly was, Lincoln starts to put all the pieces together and he will go to the ends of the earth to make it right between to the two of them. As hard as Whitney tries to push Lincoln away, you can just feel the love between the two of them.
My favorite part though? That sex scene. I don’t think I’ve ever read anything hotter!!
With the cliffhanger that Richer Than Sin left, everyone was up in arms as to what was really happening and what role Whitney truly had in it. But as the truth comes to the surface, it seems to be everyone knew more than we thought.
Guilty As Sin is intriguing, sexy, mysterious, and had me holding my breath especially at yet another amazing cliffhanger!!
And what a ride the author takes us on again. Obviously because it is a trilogy you need to read book one first and I would recommend reading it close to this one for full impact. The characters and the story line have everything in it as I have come to expect from this author and I am still left shaking my head wondering what is going to happen next. I am even more hooked into these characters than the first book as the past is revealed and you can start to see how all the pieces of the puzzle are trying to fit together. But in my heart – I know, true Meghan March style – I will be thrown a doozy of a curveball in the next one.
THis book has absolutely everything between the suspense and the emotions and even left me in tears in parts. What a great ride now bring on book 3!
Book 2 in this trilogy, book 1 Richer Than Sin must be read first before this one.
Guilty as Sin picks up straight where book 1 ended, and after the cliffy of an ending of that book I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one!!
So in this book we needed lots of answers, which we get, but we also end up with lots more questions!! The Gable and Riscoff family feud is in full swing, if not more so with the bombshell that was dropped at the end of book 1!! Whitney and Lincoln are at a crossroads in their relationship as the news affects not only them but their family and friends. With lots more secrets, ones that have been a long time in the making, family members on both sides making life extremely difficult and paparazzi intrusions, things are gonna get rough!
Lincoln is determined to correct his mistake and never let Whitney go this time, no matter what. Whitney isn’t as keen to put her heart on the line again, and thinks things would probably be better if she just left.
There’s a lot of background between these two families, with the flashbacks throughout the book, puzzle pieces start to drop in place and things start to piece together, only to have another explosive cliff hanger at the end of this book to cap it all off!! I can’t wait for the final part of this trilogy and find out how its all going to end!! Highly recommended reading.
I’m not sure if my head and my heart have caught up to me with the ending to the book. My head is spinning and at every turn I think I have the slightest idea that I have figured out which way this story is going and what will happen next with Lincoln and Whitney BOOM something happens that I never saw coming and has me gasping and dying to know what will happen next. I was so excited to see where Lincoln and Whitney’s relationship was going to go especially after the ending to Richer Than Sin. That ending was such a shock and a total tear jerker. It made me hate Lincoln a little bit and hurt for Whitney. I was so excited to see a transformation in Whitney in this book. After everything we learn about her in the past scenes and even in the present she has no doubt been handed a terrible hand at life. You get to see her gain a little life lesson in this book from the last person you would think and it has to be probably one of my favorite scenes. Guilty As Sin is an incredible second installment in this series. You have questions answered but then so many more that come to light. I cant wait to see what’s going to happen next. Meghan March has such an amazing ability to create such an amazing world and character that keep you coming back or me!
Guilty as Sin is the second book in the Sin trilogy. In book two more secrets and back story are revealed. And boy are they good. Lincoln Riscoff has his work cut out for him…big time! And in true Meghan March form she leave us hanging and desperately wondering what is to become of these two feuding families!
It’s starting to feel like there’s way to much going against Whitney and Lincoln, and we’re kept speculating if they will ever be able to find their HEA. Reveling in Sin the finally is up next and I for one can not wait for all to be revealed!
This book picks up right where Richer Than Sin left us hanging. Meghan somehow is able to write a trilogy with each book in the series leaving you wanting more, needing more. What I loved most about this book is that it gave quite a bit more backstory on the characters while still progressing the storyline. I didn’t feel it lived in the past too much. I also loved that this middle book had a lot going on in it, sometimes with trilogies you see the middle book as almost filler with not a lot going on. Not the case here.
I am anxiously awaiting the finale this series.
Are you reading Meghan March’s Sin trilogy? You need to be reading this sexy, twisty and epic second-chance romance, because it is utterly addicting. The first book is Richer Than Sin, and Guilty as Sin is the second. Lincoln and Whitney are reunited after 10 years and making tentative steps toward reconciliation, but new troubles arise and their past still haunts them. March continues her use of well-placed flashbacks to slowly and enticingly reveal what went wrong 10 years ago while also brilliantly developing a present-day story arc, and the result is an engrossing, bold and unpredictable romance. Lincoln and Whitney are compelling, well-matched leads with chemistry that leaps off the page, and their love story will warm the coldest heart. There is also a magnificent cast of unique, well-developed secondary characters that add to the story and make it a truly memorable experience. I can’t imagine what will happen next in the final book, Reveling in Sin, and I cannot wait to find out when it releases on Oct. 23.

ARC provided, but this review was voluntarily and honestly written.
This book kind of starts where book 1 ends. It goes from past to present as well like with book 1. I was really interested in the past! Some stuff happened in the past that I need some answers to! Lol
Gahhh. That ending was a holy crap moment. There were a few of those moments for me in this book!
I love Lincoln and Whitney. He loves her so much that he’s willing to choose her no matter what. I’m ready for their HEA!
I love most of the side characters, and want more of them! Except Karma. And Harrison. And Lincoln’s Mom. Hahaha
I am so looking forward to the final book to see how everything turns out!
I read this book in one sitting! Took me all day but I couldn’t move away. It very much feels like a middle of a trilogy book, continues with the plot but doesn’t end the story, yet it was a great addictive read.
Without giving out spoilers, Lincoln realizes where he’s been failing Whitney, in not trusting her, when she should be the person he trusts the most. He has an ingrained impulse not to trust anyone, taught to him by his grandfather Commodore. During the book, he realizes he has to break away from many of his old habits if he wants to retain Whitney.
Whenever Whitney faces a situation, she has one of two instincts: fight or flight, yet she mostly uses the flight instincts. She tends to want to run to escape from problems. She’s under siege, from the press and the Riscoff family and her cousin Karma. In this book, she’s also trying to break from her flight instinct and trust Lincoln to have her back.
This couple grows as a couple, pardon the redundancy, improving their relation in trust and love, but they have many enemies and circumstances that fight against their being together. Their only allies are Jackie (Whitney’s aunt), Cricket (her cousin), and McKinley (Lincoln’s sister). Everyone else in town is against their relation, and the biggest opposition comes from Lincoln’s mother.
The pace of this book was fast, the writing compelling, the love story inspiring and hot. I love Whitney and Lincoln as a couple, even though I wanted to shake Whitney a couple of times. She’s kind-hearted, generous, and her intentions are good, but all her tribulations as a Gable, as Ricky’s wife, and as Lincoln’s shorn girlfriend really did a number on her.
What makes this book so riveting is the evolution of Lincoln’s and Whitney’s love story in the midst of family intrigue and opposition. The book proceeds in dual POV’s and alternates between present and past times, moving on from where the first book begins. We get insight on many situations as the book progresses, yet there are still many mysteries to solve. And of course, we get another spectacular cliffhanger to leave us reeling and waiting impatiently for the finale.
It just keeps getting better and better and I am completely addicted to this trilogy!
Guilty As Sin picks right back up from where we left of in the first book, Richer Than Sin. The cliffhanger left me anxious and greedy for more and I was absolutely rewarded with one heck of a follow up with book 2.
The Gables and Riscoff’s are back at it again!
Secrets, lies and truth’s are exposed as the story unfolds and just when you think you have your questions answered, another slew of them fall in to take their place.
I love the chemistry between Whitney and Lincoln and the obstacles thrown in their path that keeps breaking them apart and pulling them back together. It keeps me guessing and rooting for them but after this last cliffhanger……will it be the last straw at a chance together? I don’t know!!!! And that is exactly what makes this trilogy a must read. It keeps you guessing and swearing you know what’s going to happen next-only to find that you’re wrong and surprised with the outcome.
The story is written well, as is the usual with this author and I have a few love/hate feelings toward some of the side characters, while I’m completely under the spell of Blue and Lincoln. The story building is great with old time traditions and places that I now have to visit myself because the descriptions were that good.
I can’t wait to read the conclusion to Lincoln and Whitney’s story in the last book-Reveling in Sin and what will become of the Riscoff/Gables feud and legacy. Thank goodness I only have to wait a few weeks to find out.
I would highly recommend Guilty As Sin but NOT before you read book 1-Richer Than Sin.
If you’re looking to be hooked, this is the trilogy for you!
After the first book in this trilogy, I promised myself that I wouldn’t try to solve the rubik’s cube that is Meghan March. Why? Because she slays it in all the things, the characters and their development, the storyline, the seamless transitions…all of it. When I have, with her past books, try and nail what will happen next, my mouth is always on the floor because she’s that good at throwing you off track.
I’m IN LOVE with Lincoln and Whitney in this book, they’re finally starting to get each other but there is so much more that needs to be ironed out. I can’t WAIT for the final installment so I can stay up past my bedtime again.
10,000 Thumbs up to Ms March! Lincoln and Whitney are determined to be together… now we have to wait and see at what costs! Ms March slays it and SLAYS YOUR HEART in the progress!
Eep! Lincoln and Whitney’s story continues and I’m loving every minute of it. So much drama and intrigue in such a little town. The colorful supporting characters in this series make for a super fun (and never boring) read. Can’t wait to see how this trilogy concludes!!
The plot thickens and, oh my God, I need more of Lincoln and Whitney!!!
This time around I went from hating to swooning to absolute disbelief through the entire story. I wouldn’t change one thing of the events in the book. They were so perfectly written I am stricken by an even worst book hangover than the last one I got from Richer Than Sin. And good lord, that cliffhanger. I am experiencing that all too known feeling of wanting to shake the author and asking her what she was thinking about when she wrote it. Amazing book through and through.
This is a story that doesn’t hold back.
The punches are being thrown around with wild abandon!
This trilogy just gets better and better, sometimes you find the middle book is abit of a filler but this definitely isn’t the case. The story just gets more twisted and gets crazier and crazier. Just when you think you know what direction the story’s going to go, it takes a sharp turn in another direction.
Whitney takes charge in this book which I really liked. She doesn’t let anyone railroad her and showed a real strength of character. Lincoln adores her but she makes him work for it. He finally realises his past mistakes and strives to not make them again.
I loved the ending right up until the last few sentences then I’m cursing Meghan, it’s a shocker but I loved it! I’m desperate to get my hands on the final book!
What an amazing ride! When you think you’ve figured it out… you haven’t! Twist and turns will keep you hooked and begging for more! Definitely can’t wait for the conclusion to this series!
Get ready for the ride! You get their history in the first book, but it continues in the second. Lincoln and Whitney are about to be tested by their families again in this one. Can they keep the fairy tale alive or will they crash and burn like Romeo and Juliet? This inquiring mind wants to know. Meghan March has so many twist and turns in this one. Her plots are always intriguing. Never have I rooted more for two characters to make their way than in this read! I cannot wait for the conclusion of this in the next book! 5 stars
The middle book of a trilogy is always hard for me. It’s a bridge book by definition and sometimes they just don’t give me what I need, I feel like they are just wasting time until we get to the REALLY good part.
Yeah, that didn’t happen here.
It’s so hard to write reviews without giving away the story so I’ll just tell you what you will find in this book. You’ll find drama and angst. You’ll find tension and, I’m not gonna lie, you may be slightly uncomfortable at times with everything that’s going on. You learn a LOT about the main characters in this one. And you’ll want to know a WHOLE lot more.
This one shocked me. It gave me everything I love from a Meghan March book in the middle of a trilogy.
