Guilty as Sin is the second book in New York Times bestselling author Meghan March’s epically romantic and addictive Sin Trilogy.Guilty until proven innocent. That’s the way the world works, right?I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable. The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules. If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln … forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

Guilty as Sin picks up where Richer Than Sin left off and Meghan delivers with Lincoln and Whitney’s story. The world is determined to keep them apart. Will they succeed. The story is full of twists and turns I never saw coming and it left me on the edge of my seat. I could not put it down and was left wanting more!! I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
I really loved Lincoln and Whitney’s connection in this book. It was more about them and what they have been through.
I liked how Meghan brought more of the family history into the story, I learned a lot of things I was wondering about in the last book.
The ending to this makes me so excited to read book 3 and see what happens!!
Guilty As Sin by Meghan March is book 2 in the Sin Trilogy. You must read Richer Than Sin. This book picks right up where Meghan March left us hanging. This book is pure dynamite! It is shocking and explosive. We get more of Lincoln and Whitney’s back story. The clash between the past and present will pull you so far into their story that you wont be able to stop reading. The feud between their families continues. The Gables and the Riscoff’s are enemies until the end of time. There is more danger, more suspense and more tragedy. What an emotional rollercoaster ride. And let’s not forget those steamy, hot moments that may melt your kindle. OMG! This series is Meghan March’s best work yet and I have a feeling she is just getting started.
First off let me say this is the second installment of the Sin trilogy, and one of the best follow ups to a book that I’ve read in a very long time!! Ms March doesn’t miss a beat with Lincoln and Whitney’s continuing saga, especially leaving us with the mother of all cliffhangers in book one!!! For me I wasn’t sure where she was going to go with their story, this couple faced more obstacles in part one of a series than some due in an entire story!! But she proved from the first words of the first chapter, this part of the story would take off like a jet plane roaring down the runway for its elevation into the clouds. The only difference with this story is it never levels out, your constantly soaring while reading it, page after page being engulfed into this world of the Gable’s and Riscoff’s. The push and pull of this couple stays at the forefront of the story, Lincoln in his hot alpha male way is determined to make Whitney his again. He knows that this will be the hardest battle he’ll ever have to face, and I loved that we get to see him grow in that aspect. But Whitney knows that she has to move on, make a life for herself. The constant obstacles being thrown in their way, are making her doubt that happy ending may never happen for the two of them. She’s resolved in the fact that she’s had enough of people pushing her around, and needs to stand strong, possibly alone. Can I just say this is one of the sexiest stories I’ve ever had the pleasure to read!! The chemistry between these two sizzles of the page leaving you wanting more!! Once again we get to see the glorious and rich secondary characters thru out the story, helping to add layers to this complicated story. Can I say just how much I loved Cricket and all of her humor!!!! At times Ms March sinks back into the past at crucial times in the story, giving us a vital part of the ongoing history of this couple and their families!! I knew this being the second book of the trilogy she would leave us with with a major cliffhanger, but holy hell I never saw it coming!!!!
Book 2 of Meghan March’s Sin Trilogy. This is not a standalone and books must be read in order as this book picks right up from end of Richer Than Sin. Unable to provide in depth review as not to give spoilers ~ As always Meghan’s books are best read blind. In this second installment of Sin we are provided with more details of Whitney and Lincoln’s history and their checkered past. There are the much needed answers to questions we where left with, only to be left with more. Guilty as Sin provides plenty of epic drama, suspense and plot twists that will keep you guessing. And as always her books are sexy as hell! I couldn’t put it down and that ending definitely left me wanting the conclusion. Book 3, Reveling in Sin releases October 23rd.
The Riscoff’s and Gable’s story/feud/romance continues in Guilty As Sin. In this book we find out just what is cutting so deep. The pain and loss on both sides is tragic. Lincoln and Whitney have passion and love in spades, but will they survive with everything stacked against them. A big twist happens at the end of the book that will leave you hanging off the cliff and begging for more!
Man, these guys just can’t catch a break.
So many factors conspiring against these two being together, both then and now. This book picks up from the cliffhanger from the previous book, Whitney and Linc have parted ways again, he thinks she has betrayed him and she feels he will never trust her and that her life is conspiring to keep them apart.
Her dead husband keeps rearing his ugly head even though he is dead and buried. Now the Riscoff’s are in crisis mode and the paparazzi has followed her to where she thought she would be safe. Despite the differences they now have Linc is bound and determined to protect her and her family.
Plenty of great characters in this series. I particularly love Cricket! Now, we have to wait and see who is going to throw the next blow. This one ends in another cliffy that will certainly change things for these characters! Sexy, Smart and a must read!
An outstanding second book in the trilogy. Words that leave you quickly turning the pages, yearning for more and then gasping with a cliff hanger at the finale. The good news is we only have to wait a few weeks for the release of the final book.
Whitney and Lincoln’s relationship continues to develop in spite of themselves. Like opposite ends of a magnet, they are drawn to each other despite their families and history.
“Whitney’s the only woman I’ve ever met who wanted me despite my last name and our money. But I f**d that up in the end too.”
With every book Meghan March gets better and better. I can’t wait to see what she throws at us next.
Like the last book, I cannot wait for the next one!!! Lincoln & Whitney’s story continues right where it left off in RTS, I loved that book as well!!!
This book is filled with so much drama and angst…it’s also filled with lots of sexy times that we’ve come to expect from this fabulous author…lots of suspense between the two families. I’ll litereally be on the edge of my seat until book 3 comes out lol I cannot wait! 5 stars, not sure I’ve read anything less than 5 outstanding stars from this author! Highly recommend!
Oh my gosh. I have so many theories and thoughts, and this book did nothing but make me more wrapped up in all the entanglements of Gable. Whitney and Lincoln are working against some horrible odds, but even with the wrath of so many outside forces converging against their relationship they managed to begin understanding they were worth more than what everyone thought.
Guilty as Sin popped us right into Whitney and Lincoln’s story exactly where we’d left off in Richer than Sin, and I was immediately wrapped up in all the energy, secrets, and intrigue that had been built in the previous book. Meghan March did a fabulous job of giving just enough info to refresh my memory concerning the major plot points of the story without making it feel awkward or obvious. I was very thankful for the memory jog since it had been a minute since I’d read Richer than Sin.
I loved Whitney’s growth arc in Guilty as Sin; for a little time as passed in this book, she realized a lot about herself, what she’d been through, and what she was going to demand from the future. Whitney really seemed to grow into her own in this book, and I was beginning to see what a strong, independent woman she was under all the BS other people had heaped upon her for most of her life.
Lincoln redeemed himself a lot in this book; I wasn’t sure how much I liked him in Richer than Sin, so it was nice to see a different side of him in this one. He, too, began to peel back all the layers of façade society had pressed upon him to reveal who he was at the core of his being.
Guilty as Sin is the second book in Meghan March’s Sin Trilogy. These books are all about one couple, a single story told across three volumes and must be read in order for comprehension. Guilty as Sin is written in dual first-person perspective, alternating between the past and present, narrated by Whitney and Lincoln.
Guilty as Sin picks up where book one, Richer than Sin, leaves off. Lincoln is quick to accuse Whitney of something and she, of course, gets pissed off and runs. He quickly realizes his mistake and goes to get her and apologize. He makes it his mission to make Whitney and her family safe. The story is told in dual POV and goes back and forth from past to present. We get more information on what has gone on in the past between the couple and two families. I was happy to get some answers, but I still have tons more. I even have a theory about some people and I’m dying to see if I’m right. This book is very entertaining. I enjoy reading about the relationship between Whitney and Lincoln and the suspense surrounding the two families. I totally enjoyed this book and can’t wait to get the next book.
I honestly don’t know what to say about this book boy was it freaking amazing and full of twist and turns. The cliff hanger at the end just making you wanna Swan Dive to find out what the flip is going to happen next.
I’m totally in love with the the story is unfolding which chapters in the past and present. I really joy that you are getting two stories at once and you get to see how Whitney and Lincoln have grown and how they totally freaking love each other ( I’m so here for it too!) I cannot wait to see how this all ends!
I have been eagerly awaiting the second part to Meghan’s Sin series and holly hells bells, this story is amazeballs. Meghan has answered some of our questions but now we have more and we are left in that delicious anticipation again.
I loved how this book is told in dual POV but also goes from the past to the present. So much has happened to lead Lincoln and Whitney to the point they are at now. The love they have held for each other for the last 10 years is immense in this modern day Romeo & Juliet, Hatfields and McCoy story. The hate and war between their families seems like it will never end.
I am now counting down the days for the final instalment of this Phenomenal series. I want to see if my suspicions are correct on who is stirring up all this drama and finally get the answers. ALTHOUGH part of me doesn’t want this series to end.
Lincoln and Whitney’s story continues in Guilty as Sin. We get more of their background as to why they didn’t end up together. The family feud still feeds the fire as it did in the past. But getting the whys proves to fuel the story. The secrets and lies expose how Lincoln and Whitney’s future was altered. The first book ended in a delicious cliffhanger and of course this book delivered an even better cliffhanger. (I will say that I did a little Yay cause she deserved it)
I’m waiting patently for the last book in the trilogy. Lincoln and Whitney have an intense and passionate love. They just need to be true to themselves and not worry about the crazy family feud that threatens their happiness.
I really loved and enjoyed this one. So many little surprises that you never see coming. I love the chemistry and the story line. Was hooked right away. cant wait for more.
Meghan March has done it again! In the second installment of the Sin trilogy, for every answer March gives you, she hints at yet another secret. As the story develops between Lincoln and Whitney we flip between present and past and really get to know the characters. We know how their story started, we know how it ended but we still don’t know why.
A thrilling and sexy romance that has even more twists and turns with each page. I can’t wait to find out exactly what happened and what is going to happen. If you thought this was just a second-chance romance, think again. March delivers the sexy-goodness we’ve come to love with so many surprises along the way.
And that ending…. A cliffy that had me giving her a round of applause!
Ding dong the witch is dead. That’s the repeating song in my head as I finish this book.
I have so many unanswered questions that I hope will be answered in the conclusion. Until then, I’m going to have withdrawals waiting. I foresee an epic conclusion and I can’t wait to revel in it.
The second book of the Sin Trilogy……my anticipation for Guilty as Sin has been on high alert ever since being left hanging on the edge at the end of Richer than Sin (Sin #1), I’ve been in desperate need to know more about Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable and their forbidden romance!!
I definitely got more of what I’d been anticipating, more hot and steamy sexy times, more answers about their past, more exciting family drama! And of course…..way MORE questions that have me in total suspense and an ending that has left me dangling once again!!
I’m very much enjoying this sexy suspenseful trilogy and my anticipation for book 3 is of course on high alert again will be counting days to the release of Reveling in Sin!!!
3.5 Family intrigue stars. Whitney had amazing growth which for me was the huge plus about this book 2 in a trilogy. There are fascinating family secrets but some are too obvious while I fear others will never be answered. I liked seeing more of how the past fit into the present and am not sure what will happen next. McKinley needs her own book. I love her.
So, the hardcore Meghan March junkie that I am couldn’t wait to dig into Guilty as Sin, book two in the Sin Trilogy. Unfortunately, life and my work commitments didn’t allow me to grab it the very second it hit my kindle, but I rectified that little problem in short order! And Meghan doesn’t disappoint with this one, which picks up right where we left off with Richer Than Sin. Now, you don’t need me to tell you that Meghan is a skilled author who writes tantalizing romances that readers cannot put down. But she hasn’t become a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author without having readers (and bloggers) who are willing to tell you these things. In today’s publishing climate, relaying why an author’s book is so outstanding is essential to their success. And Meghan March? She deserves her success and the accolades that have been awarded to her over the course of her journey as an author. I haven’t been able to catch up on each and every book that she’s released since I discovered her a little less than two years ago, but she is an automatic one-click for me whether I know I am going to be able to read a book right away or not. As soon as the pre-order is available or first thing on release day, I have the book purchase. I simply love the way she writes, how each book is soooo different, and how hot her stories are.
“What happened a decade ago between Lincoln and me colours every moment of our present.”
Richer Than Sin was the start of the uncertain journey of Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable who find themselves following in the same path as their predecessors. Afterall, A Gable and a Riscoff could never be together. Fate would never let it happen. Their forbidden relationship was proof positive that the sins of the past always come back to haunt us all and no skeleton can stay hidden in a closet forever. And after leaving readers with a stunning cliffhanger, I for one was utterly destroyed by the few weeks in-between that I had to wait to begin reading Guilty as Sin. However, Meghan March did not disappoint… Guilty as Sin continued the story of lovers who have an undeniable pull and chemistry which is still drawing them together even after a decade and distance kept them apart… But Lincoln refuses to allow his second chance with Whitney to turn out the way their first chance together did. He’s determined to prove to her that their second chance is going to right the wrongs of their past! But the road they travel is complex and layered with heartache from all sides. Trust is paramount and when everyone tries to pull them apart, can they hold tight to the love they have always shared?
Guilty as Sin leaves readers with another massive bombshell dropped at our feet and I was reminded of why I wanted to chuck my kindle at the end of the Richer Than Sin. My response to this cliffhanger was tempered only by my expectation that it would happen with this book. But let’s face facts, it’s one of the best marketing strategies Meghan March could employ if she is going to write a trilogy and not just interconnected standalones. Either way, she’s the mistress of outstanding, modern day contemporary romance. Her proven track record is proof positive that she’s got her finger on the pulse of contemporary romance. The Sin Trilogy is told in duel perspective while layering the events of the past with those of the present. While Richer Than Sin established a foundation for Lincoln and Whitney, Guilty as Sin also delves deeper into their background. Without question, readers should prepare themselves for more of everything… this book is more angsty, contains more secrets and twists, which in-turn creates more drama for the couple who just want the chance to love one another freely. And just when grand gestures have united the pair, fate again steps in to shake things up.
“I’m done letting other people manipulate our lives to keep us apart. I’m fucking done. You leave, I leave. End of story.”
I wish that I could immediately dive my way into the final installation in this trilogy, Revealing as Sin. To say it’s one of my most anticipated reads of October would be completely underscoring just how much it’s killing me to wait! It’s a good thing it’s already been pre-ordered and I plan to clear my calendar of everything that isn’t life essential when it’s available! Bravo, Meghan March on successfully following up one truly outstanding story with an equally outstanding accompaniment and on continuing to show readers like myself why we love your work. Thank you for continuing to write truly beautiful, diverse, and original love stories that keep us on the edge of our seats. I know that I rarely am able to put down a story you’ve written!
