Guilty as Sin is the second book in New York Times bestselling author Meghan March’s epically romantic and addictive Sin Trilogy.Guilty until proven innocent. That’s the way the world works, right?I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable. The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules. If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln … forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

Each book is better than the last!
‘A Gable and a Riscoff could never be together. Fate would never let it happen.’
‘Nothing good can ever come of it.’
This is the same old tune that Whitney has had to listen to for countless years from both sides of the feud, but it’s also what she’s had to keep telling herself every time she gets pulled back into Lincoln’s life and starts to feel like they can face everything together and still remain whole.
Whitney and Lincoln’s past and present illustrates the fact that when they’re together, regardless of how strong their connection is, bad things happen…people get hurt…loss and regret run rampant. But what it comes down to is the fact that neither Whitney nor Lincoln have been living for themselves; they’ve been taking care of everyone else, whether it be the family business, Ricky’s career, or those left behind after the horrible accident took the lives of those they loved. And by putting others before themselves, they’ve made a mess of a once and a lifetime kind of connection…kind of love, and it’s that bond that both of them seem desperate to get back, but it’s easier said than done because as more secrets are revealed and the true nature of things is discovered, it’s unclear whether it’s still going to be the Riscoffs vs. the Gables or if Lincoln and Whitney will pave their own way, uniting the two families in a way that no one thought possible?
The second book in a trilogy, in my opinion, is always a tricky one for the author to create and for the reader to read; it needs to bridge the gap between the first and the third in a way that moves the plot forward but also sheds light on all of the backstory content that readers need to understand in order to garner a clear picture of what the hero and the heroine are up against, and that can sometimes feel tedious or a bit stagnant in the build up to book three, and that’s a little bit how I felt as I read Guilty As Sin…
So, while the flashbacks of everything that occurred between Lincoln and Whitney and the Gables and Riscoffs 10 years ago help to solidify the big picture as to why these two families detest one another, I felt like the story line lost a bit of the momentum that I felt it had after finishing book 1. Don’t get me wrong…I still very much enjoyed Guilty as Sin and I’m beyond excited to see what Meghan March has in store for Lincoln and Whitney as well as her readers after she left us with one heck of a cliffhanger at the end of book 2, but I did lose some of the connection I felt to the characters and all that they were forced to deal with and overcome. But I’m not worried that it’s gone for good; in fact, I’m almost positive that with where the characters’ lives are heading that there are bound to be a few more bombshells and that now that Whitney’s found her backbone again and has stopped living so much in the past that readers will want to revel in all sexy and angsty goodness that will bring Lincoln and Whitney’s journey to an end.
3.5/4 Poison Apples
It’s LIVE TODAY! I had the pleasure of reading this entire trilogy earlier and it’s Meghan March at her absolute BEST! You are missing out if you haven’t read Richer than Sin (book one) so get on it now because Guilty As Sin is book two and even MORE amazing. Also, it’s HOT AF!!!!!!
I love this book. It was so addicting. I felt like I was n the book as I read it, I didn’t like putting it down but it definitely kept me occupied and I actually paid for the trilogy so I’m moving on to revealing in sin. I’m so excited. I love Megan March. Shes very direct and to the point and something is always popping up unexpectedly… I just love her…
Meghan March NEVER disappoints! <3 I
This is the second book of a trilogy. I had so many questions that I needed answered when I started this book. What I got was more mystery, suspense, but I did get questions from the past answered. Meghan is the queen of keeping us on the edge. I can’t wait for the final book. This is a must read, get your copy today.
When Meghan March writes a story, it is an automatic 1-click for me! Her stories are captivating and intriguing and I never want to stop reading! Guilty as Sin, the second installment in her Sin trilogy, is no different! I could not wait to get my hands on this one after that ending in book one! And we pick up right where we left off in Lincoln and Whitney’s journey.
In true Meghan fashion, we get so much more this time about the characters and their history, but we also get more unanswered questions! Lincoln and Whitney are facing not only their family, but others intruding in their lives, can they ever truly make this work between them?
In Guilty as Sin we have one twist after another. Lincoln is determined to fight for Whitney this time around, but can she risk her heart again? I devoured this book and cannot wait for the final book! So many secrets, lies and drama! How will it all end?
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.

I am sooo consumed with all things Riscoff and Gable!!! I freaking love this family feud!!! I can’t get enough!!
Please…I am begging you Meghan!!! I.need.more!!!! haha
With tragedy hitting both sides of the family, accusations are made, words are cutting deep, how will they ever survive this?? How can they get past this??
Sooo much pain, sooo much regret and sooo much loss.
Ladies, you are sooo going to need to read Guilty as Sin in a padded room cuz I am warning you, you will want to throw your Kindle against the wall cuz of all the angst Meghan has packed in this book!!! It was fan-dang-tastic!!!
I gave Guilty as Sin 5 “OMG I need the finale” like yesterday!!! lol Reveling in Sin (Sin #3) will be the most anticipated book this year!!!! Can’t wait to get it into my greedy little hands!!!!

Reveling in Sin-book 3
4 Can They Get Past Their Past Stars!!
Leave it to Ms. March to leave us with another “Dynasty-like” cliffhanger. I mean holy wowza Lincoln and Whitney have so much history and so many roadblocks that are preventing them from finding their HEA.
This book picks up right where we left off in Richer Than Sin, but this book is so much richer in its flashbacks from when Lincoln and Whitney thought they would have their forever. We also have suspense playing so much more in this storyline because some secrets are starting to be revealed and they’re throwing a wrench in Lincoln’s plans to get his girl back….
“I’m done letting other people manipulate our lives to keep us apart.”
Don’t ever doubt a man on a mission especially when it’s Lincoln Riscoff! No matter what the feud is between the families and oh my goodness it’s GOOD!!! This feud is what drives everyone in this town and no matter what anyone says or does, some are not willing to overlook the past. In my mind this just fuels Lincoln and Whitney’s desire to prove everyone wrong…if they can accept the past and what it may mean for their future.
Ms. March has once again given us a book that is intriguing in its plot, suspenseful, down and dirty when our H/h let their bodies speak rather than their brain, which has me hoping that they’ll listen to their hearts and become a team that can conquer the world….but who’s still standing in their way? Will they be able to accept that not everyone is happy about them being together and potentially not have these people in their lives? We’re going to get all the answers and so much more in Reveling In Sin!
I can say with 100% honesty that you will never get a bad book from Meghan March with each series she utterly blows you away. Her attention to detail in every book really helps strengthen the series and each character, and this has kept me hooked on her for many years.
This is book two in the Sin Trilogy which will have you gripping on to the book until the final page, then you’ll be screaming to find out what is going to happen to Whitney and Lincoln and if they will ever get the break from their families and outside world. This book is full of unforseen suspense and such a thrilling read, Meghan writes a damn good steamy scene, you will also need tissues and wine to help you along with the read. I went through every emotion going and really feel for Whitney and Lincoln.
“Eventually, you’re going to realize there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you.”
Guilty as Sin is a jaw-dropping, sexy as sin, emotional thrill ride beginning to end! This is the second installment of Meghan March’s Sin Trilogy and it just keeps getting better and better! Whitney and Lincoln captured our hearts in the first book and they are about to put it through the test in the next. More drama, more suspense, more SEXY TIMES…I couldn’t put it down! We just got a little taste of what these two families are made of. Get ready for SO MUCH MORE because Ms. March is holding back NOTHING!
Amazing story. Can’t wait for the conclusion.
Guilty as Sin is the second book in the Sin trilogy and I’m so addicted to this feud: the stuff of legends indeed!
The story picks up right after the Richer than Sin cliffhanger and it never slows down! There’s so much drama, passion, lust, love, heartache, Guilty as Sin is a very emotional roller coaster and I loved every second of it.
The storyline is wonderfully written, it switches back and forth between past and present, the transitions are perfectly done and the characters… are absolutely amazing. I think Meghan has a true gift for storytelling and for writing such rich, wonderful characters, there’s so many characters I love to pieces, no matter their last name, like Whitney, Lincoln, McKinley, aunt Jackie, Cricket and Hunter, Magnus and Commodore, and a few others I absolutely hate like Karma, Harrison, Lincoln’s mom and Ricky. All of these characters are truly remarkable and engaging and all of them play a role in this forbidden romance.
Guilty as Sin is a riveting, addictive, intense, unpredictable tale of a legendary feud and an epic second chance love story and you definitely can’t miss this series. Oh… and there’s a dramatic cliffhanger that left me desperate for the next book in the Sin trilogy: Reveling in Sin.
This is Book 2 of the Sin Trilogy
This is the continuing story of Lincoln & Whitney. Other things are revealed from the past between the two families; The Riscoffs and The Gables, and wow, just wow. The anticipation of finding out what happened when Book 1 ended isn’t revealed immediately. This is the second time Whitney is accused of something by Lincoln without hearing her out. Guilty until proven innocent. Although there are revelations that come to light, the mystery still continues. It’s up and down throughout the whole book, between Lincoln and Whitney. There is another cliffhanger at the end. Can’t wait for the final book.
This book is edgy, and suspenseful and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
This is a quick and easy read. The storyline is well-crafted, intriguing, suspenseful, has drama and steam. The characters are defined, and likable with sizzling chemistry. I liked it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
4.5 Stars
It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of this author; however, there’s always that thought in the back of one’s mind as to whether new books or follow-ups will live up to your expectations. Is there a limit to creativity? It seems March’s is boundless. Her writing, storyline and characters don’t just enthuse, they dazzle. As per usual in all of her series, cliffhangers are the name of the game. To my surprise, Guilty As Sin doesn’t exactly begin where Richer Than Sinner finished. We are taken back in time and not with Lincoln’s words, but Whitney’s. Flashbacks continue throughout the book from a dual perspective which was for me of extreme importance. Not in the slightest bit confusing and very well construed, it helped me understand how both her protagonists felt about a past omnishambles, a family feud totally out of control, and the present…get ready for more twists than turns.
In the heat of the moment, how often do we let go of our anger without taking into consideration the feeling of others? Then regrets set in and it doesn’t matter how hard we try, if you’ve hurt someone you love, earning their forgiveness isn’t just saying sorry. In Lincoln’s case, the only way he could convince Whitney of his regret was by showing her he’d move mountains. Hmm…a metaphor impossible to achieve, he’d still do his utmost to protect her from any outside interference without invading her space. Contrary to the first book which was very character driven, in this installment plot complexities abound. And although his stance never wavers towards his family, the legacy is questioned in more ways than one.
I really liked how Whitney pulled herself together and Lincoln…just wow! He demonstrated to me he’s one of those rare species of men who could put himself into the position of the woman that’d beguiled him from the word go. He discovers those lost years without her weren’t as he thought, is astounded by her natural gift that hadn’t been able to flower as it should have, even encourages it and learns how she was treated. Whitney changing her attitude was crucial if she wasn’t going to be walked over. Her positiveness made me want to jump into my Kindle and give her a high five; nonetheless, a certain manipulating individual is on her heels ready to disrupt the status quo.
Halfway through the read and it looked like everything was moving in the right direction. I could have kicked myself because there was no way March would ever let her readers off so easily. She cannily gave me reasons for being optimistic; Whitney and Lincoln began to relax with each other, their dialogue’s lighter, witty remarks are shared and I could see her slowly giving in to his charms. And all I’m going to say about the frisky scenes is HOT, HOT, HOT! Then a bombshell’s dropped and that is when the pace of the story really picks up and complications set in.
If you’ve read Richer Than Sin, I have no doubt you’ll be itching to get your hands on this one. March has once again delivered a thrilling angst-ridden read, her side characters are either lovable or you want to strangle them with your eBook reader cable charger! I can’t thank the author enough for not making us wait too long for Reveling in Sin, coming 23rd October ‘cause the cliffy, deary me…just wait and see! Bravo!
The drama, the people, the story!! It’s all so riveting!! I’m on a girls getaway and I’m suppose to be hanging out with them. Instead I am being held hostage by my iPad as I devour Whitney and Lincoln’s story.
This series has checked every must have box for me!! It has suspense, secrets, heartache, back stabbing, angst and even some comedic moments. Who doesn’t love bickering old men??
March never fails to draw me into her world and feel as if I’m a part of it.
The second book in the Sin Trilogy had me addicted, captivated and loving every minute of this story. This book carried so much more depth and had me enamored be Lincoln and Whitney. As more secrets are shared and these two finally take a stand for what they want, the hope and longing for an outcome that has been ten years in the making is finally on the horizon. Guilty as Sin is full of so much more passion, that you can’t help but feel the love deep under your skin that these two have for each other. However, Meghan March leaves us hanging by a total thread and will have your jaw dropping with this ending, you will be unprepared and will not see it coming. As my mind was swirling in a hundred different directions as to what is going on and who is plotting against them, I one clicked Reveling in Sin because I need to know now and waiting any longer is just not an option.
This was a fun read that was difficult to put down. It had wonderful character development and they all stayed true to who they were supposed to be through the book, instead of veering off course to make details fit. The author put real effort into a cogent storyline and I found it successfully related. A very satisfying tale.
