Former Navy SEAL Gage Winters is surprised to suddenly have custody of adorable twins after a childhood friend and his wife are killed. Adjusting to life as a new father is hard enough, but when the babies’ gorgeous aunt, Kylie Fredericks, shows up at his doorstep, determined to play a role in the babies’ lives, Gage can’t help but accept her help—at least for now. A loner by nature, Gage isn’t … isn’t completely happy about sharing his home, even if his new roommate is sexy, single, and a natural around babies. But he’s admittedly in way over his head and while he’s wary of Kylie, he can’t deny how nice it is to have her around. And not just for the babies.
Initially Kylie can’t see why her sister chose Gage as the twin’s guardian, but the longer she stays, the more she realizes that not only is Gage a good father, he’s also a good man. Not to mention pretty easy on the eyes. But Gage has one fatal flaw: he wants more children…and that’s something Kylie can never give him. Though they’re becoming a cozy family, Kylie has to remind herself that she and Gage have no future together.
When Kylie and the twins are attacked in a park, Gage’s protective instincts go into high gear. Keeping the babies and Kylie safe becomes his number one priority. Too bad he didn’t think about protecting his heart. With an unknown threat circling closer by the minute, Gage and Kylie will do whatever they can to keep the babies safe—even if it means risking their own lives and sacrificing the love their hearts are having an increasingly hard time denying.

This is the 3rd and final book in the seal Endgame series. This story is about Gage and Kylie. Gage is an ex-seal and becomes the father of twins; one boy and one girl after their parents die in an accident. Then their aunt, mom’s sister, shows up. Wanting to figure out why her sister and brother-in-law chose Gage over leaving them to a blood relative. an entertaining and enjoyable read

Gage, ex Navy Seal, is named guardian to twins when his best friend and his wife die in an accident. Gage has no idea how to raise infants, but he is learning and does the best he can. The twins Aunt Kylie enters the picture as their only relative, and wonders why she was not named as their guardian. As the two of them come together for the sake of the twins, things between them heat up. As they are getting to know each other, dangerous occurrences start happening to Kylie. Their story has a happy ending as they wade through their learning process of raising babies, fighting their growing attraction and an unknown assailant. ** I was gifted “Guarding His Unexpected Twins”** My review is based on my reading 3.5 Stars!

I have to be honest this is my first Leslie North book will it be my last is the ultimate question though, and the straight up answer is no. I thoroughly enjoyed Guarding his Unexpected Twins, while it is a standalone it does belong in with the rest of the Seal Endgame, as from the name each one is about a seal, This one is about Gage and the beautiful Kylie. The way that Gage becomes the guardian of a set of twins is sad, but he stepped up to the plate and did his best, I Loved that it shows just how difficult and scary it is having a baby or babies in this case is, especially when you are not a baby person. Gage was a really good character, well thought out and developed Kylie it took me a little longer to warm up to her, once I did they both came relatable, the progression of the story between the both of them was beautiful. The grief they both had to work through especially Kylie . I cannot imagine what it must have been like for her, when you through in doubts confusion and their own insecurities it isn’t exactly a recipe for success. Yet the story flows well and pulls at your heart strings that the time you have invested into to the story is well rewarded. It pulled at my heart strings which most of the time a lot of books fail to do. Gage is like his name yes he is strong but doesn’t like to air his feelings and wants things done his way. Kylie is a free spirit that on paper doesn’t or shouldn’t work, but in reality does the chemistry is undeniable between them. Do they act on it or do they remain as friends, Jealousy anger and sadness dominate but hope and happy endings are also here. In brief I enjoyed the story well done LESLIE NORTH.
A fantastic romantic suspense that had me on the edge of my seat.

Guarding His Unexpected Twins by Leslie North is the third book in her SEAL Endgame Book 3 was a quick read on Gage and Kylie and the twins left to him by his former teammate Tucker. Little does he know that Kylie Fredericks the twins aunt is flying home to care for the babies too.
Gage Winters retired from the SEALs after his last mission that went FUBAR and is working security but when his best friend Tucker and his wife are killed but he’s settling in to being a dad. But what he doesn’t know is that danger is following Kylie back from Japan where she may have taken a photo of something illegal while working as a Feng Shui Consultant. So when her computer was stolen while at the park with the twins Gage will do whatever is needed to help her find the culprit and when she’s kidnapped he’ll realize how important she’s become to him.
There is a side story about Kylie’s medical condition and its handled with great care plus will play a part in the finale.
Kylie and Gage are both in the middle of a horrible loss, each trying to find there own way in what they are left.
Gage is a retired SEAL, still dealing with a horrific loss of his own from his SEAL team, he was not expecting to become a father over night, but that is just what happens.
Kylie loses her sister while working overseas, then to top it all off, her twin niece and nephew are given to a man she does not know. After high tailing her way back to the states, she confronts the man that is now the guardian to the only family she has left.
Kylie and Gage have an amazing relationship that stands the test of a number of different things. Each have their own issues to work through, and their own problems that they bring to their budding relationship. After Kylie is attacked at the park with the children, Gage loses his normal cool head and ends things with the woman. More drama incurs and Kylie and Gage give everything they have to keep the twins safe.

After the death of his best friend and his wife, Gage Winters is given custody of their twins. Kylie Fredericks, the wife’s sister, shows up one night to keep an eye on Gage. She wants to make sure he will make a good parent and try to find out why she wasn’t given custody of the children. This causes a lot of tension and arguments between them at first but an incident at the park changes things.
This was a quick read filled with love, danger and crying babies. I liked Gage and Kylie’s relationship and the trials they faced.

Gage was surprised to see Kylie show up on his doorstep in the middle of the night after flying back from her job in Tokyo. With the death of her sister and brother-in-law, she felt that she was the best person to care for her niece and nephew. Not thinking that a single former SEAL is able to care for them when they are her blood relatives.
Over the next few days, they are able to get into a routine and are able to take care of the twins and are eventually able to let down their walls and tell each other of their lives which builds trust in each other. Unfortunately with the random attack that happens to Kylie in the park and later the house, they do not know where the threat is coming from. Later they find out her former employer thinks she saw something she shouldn’t have. Kylie starts to lose confidence that she isn’t the one to care for the twins due to her prior condition and her job that has her flying from one place to another. Throughout getting to know each other and then her determination to handle the threat to her, she decides she is going to face the person who is threatening her. At the confrontation, she does what she needs to do to stall until Gage finds her. They come to the realization to get to know each other better and are better raising the twins together, and building a life together.

This was a good read. It took me a while to warm up to Kylie though. There was just something about her that didn’t draw me in.
In this short story the author briefly addresses infertility and the impact it can have on a woman to know she can’t have children. Kylie’s sister and husband die leaving their twins in the care of Gage who is the twins godfather and a good family friend. Gage gives up his military life to care for the twins. Kylie and Gage both want what’s best for the twins and try to live together to raise them, the couple have instant chemistry that they try to ignore. This is an action-packed thrilling story that sees the two deal with insecurities and threats that could harm their fledgling family.

This is another great story that is well written. The storyline is great the characters relationship is developed throughout the whole story which I love. I’m enjoying this series looking forward to the next one.
I found this story to have a good structure. Slowly but surely you see the main characters grow together, where an exciting element has been added in the story. A story with a happy ever after, not only in the field of love …… Great ending

Leslie North always delivers and she didn’t fail this time. Guarding His Unexpected Twins was a sweet, sexy, romantic and swoon worthy read. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next series to come out by this amazing author. Happy reading!!
Gage says, sometimes the families you choose yourself, are even better than the ones you’re born into Kylie has heavy bookbag baggage that she will never be able to put down. Gage, retired SEAL, unexpectedly becomes a single father of two and needs to cope, like yesterday! Kylie thinks her sister did not make her guardian of her children because she can’t have babies. Did the bag just get heavier? While contemplating, custody, Kylie realizes Gage is an awesome Dad! It’s Mr Mom meets a little Baby Boom. They felt an instant attraction to each other and tried to resist. Kylie felt contributing her feng shui talents would help the new family. Do Kylie and Gage adjust to co-parenting? What about careers? Can Gage protect his new family? I expected better from Kylie’s problem solving skills. There were several military inaccuracies and if Gage’s skill was strategy, he was slow analyzing their situation. Nice story! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
