Former Navy SEAL Gage Winters is surprised to suddenly have custody of adorable twins after a childhood friend and his wife are killed. Adjusting to life as a new father is hard enough, but when the babies’ gorgeous aunt, Kylie Fredericks, shows up at his doorstep, determined to play a role in the babies’ lives, Gage can’t help but accept her help—at least for now. A loner by nature, Gage isn’t … isn’t completely happy about sharing his home, even if his new roommate is sexy, single, and a natural around babies. But he’s admittedly in way over his head and while he’s wary of Kylie, he can’t deny how nice it is to have her around. And not just for the babies.
Initially Kylie can’t see why her sister chose Gage as the twin’s guardian, but the longer she stays, the more she realizes that not only is Gage a good father, he’s also a good man. Not to mention pretty easy on the eyes. But Gage has one fatal flaw: he wants more children…and that’s something Kylie can never give him. Though they’re becoming a cozy family, Kylie has to remind herself that she and Gage have no future together.
When Kylie and the twins are attacked in a park, Gage’s protective instincts go into high gear. Keeping the babies and Kylie safe becomes his number one priority. Too bad he didn’t think about protecting his heart. With an unknown threat circling closer by the minute, Gage and Kylie will do whatever they can to keep the babies safe—even if it means risking their own lives and sacrificing the love their hearts are having an increasingly hard time denying.

I enjoyed this read. There are plenty of emotions to be dealt with as Kylie and Gage’s story unfolds. I felt that the storyline had a very realistic air. I could feel for both these characters. Fate stepped in and really took their lives in a direction they never expected. I enjoyed the evolution of their relationship. I liked that things moved at a logical pace and that helped to create a couple that was easy to connect with and root for. I thought that this was a very entertaining book.
This book was as good as the other two in the series. It was well written and the storyline was spot on. The characters were remarkable and the bond they shared was strong. The ending was so sweet and heartwarming.

Excellent story. Gage has gotten custody of twins when his best friend and his wife are killed in a car accident. It’s great how he interacts with the kids. Kylie shows up on his doorstep one day wanted to see the kids and wondering why her sister didn’t give her custody. Well Gage isn’t giving up custody of the kids to her or anyone else. When danger shows up, he’ll do anything to protect the kids and her. Received this book for an honest review.
This is the third and final book of the Seal Endgame Series. When Kylie’s sister and husband were killed in a car crash, she couldn’t understand why her sister had given guardianship to Gage, an ex Seal. Due to Kylie’s health problems, she is unlikely to have children and has suffered in relationships because of it. Gage’s last mission as a Seal was a disaster and he blames himself. Interesting and engaging story with strong characters. Good short story!

GUARDING HIS UNEXPECTED TWINS (Seal Endgame Book 3) By Leslie North
This is a quick satisfying read with a solid story line. When his best friend & his spouse are killed in a wreck, former Seal Gage gets custody of their twins. Meanwhile, Kylie is mourning the loss of her sister in that accident that happened while she was working in Japan, and is very hurt that she wasn’t selected to raise her niece and nephew. Can they work together to raise the twins? This story has everything drama, mystery, intrigue, and great characters that have a lot of chemistry between them.

Kylie was devastated at the accidental death of her sister and brother-in-law, their children were safe but she needed to be there for them. Gage had been made guardian of his best friend’s twins. It was something he never expected to happen but they were his now and he intended to be the best father possible. When the twins aunt arrived on his doorstep he was surprised but knew she had a right to see the twins, he let her stay and together life was much easier for the both of them. The more time they spent together the harder to resist the attraction between them. When a hidden danger they never expected comes their way, they fight it and win. This was a story of new love and new beginnings. Caring for the twins they both loved bought them closer together as lovers and as parents.

She doesn’t understand why the twins weren’t left to her when her sister and her husband were killed. The sparks fly when Kylie flies back home ( in more ways than one ). Will Kylie try to gain custody of the twins? Will Gage and Kylie be able to come to an amicable arrangement? Will their attraction to each other get in the way or will it work to their favor?

This story is by far not the best story I have read from this author. The storyline is there and the characters, but still there is that untangible thing that is missing, there is somehow no excitement. There is, however, a whole lot of grammatical errors and typos and even in the last chapter it clearly says they are getting married then on the next page he is proposing to her when the page earlier it said they were getting married on Saturday….. I just don´t really know how to rate this story and what to say about it and I am mostly not at a loss for words… But I am giving it three stars as the story is there.

Another great read by Leslie North. This is a well written romantic suspense book with strong , well developed characters and an intriguing story line. The author once again brings tons of emotions as well as danger and suspense. It’s brought to life with her detailed scenes and had me hooked from start to finish. I loved and highly recommend this book.

Guarding His Unexpected Twins is a stand-alone story like the rest of the Seal EndGame Series, each book is about a Navy Seal. This story is Gage and Kylie’s. This book pulls at the heart strings, Gage is a strong Seal but doesn’t share his feelings well as Kylie is a sort of free spirit they don’t work on paper but the chemistry is undeniable between them. When things start to happen both see things differently, but when they are forced to confront there feels things just might turn In There favor if they can work together instead of apart. Will they find a way to make it work or will they stay divided not admitting the truth to each other.
