Or the mysterious bond that she feels with them.

Guardians of Magic is a full-length Reverse Harem Paranormal Fantasy Romance. Action-packed, steamy, and addictive, you’ll be glued to the pages until the last word.more
Ti really like Eve. She is tough because she has had to be, but she is also caring. Her four Fae guys are each unique and I enjoy the banter between them. The story does end with a shocking turn of events, but thankfully book 2 is already out 🙂
Guardians Of Magic is the first book in the Guardians Of The Fae series. This is an action packed tale which is extremely well written and the characters are interesting and well developed but have plenty of room for growth. Eve Carter is a Paranormal Detective charged with finding the perps and bring them to justice. The four Queen’s Guards are sent to quell the chaos in there world. They find Eve and things begin to heat up. Highly recommend this first in series. I will be following this series as it has caught my interest. Received a copy from Hidden Gems and this is my voluntary and honest review.
I love discovering new or new to me authors. Elizabeth Hartwell falls into the latter category. Based on her Guardians of Magic (Guardians of the Fae Book 1) though, she’s definitely an author I’m in need of becoming better acquainted with. This is a really fun reverse harem (guilty pleasure) paranormal fantasy romance (hit the trifecta of favorite genres there) mashup. It’s well written and with a great plot that looks to be the start of what I expect will be a wonderful overarching story arc. Eve Carter is really a perfect heroine for this book (and series), with just the kind of approach to life, the universe and everything (yes, I know I borrowed that line) that I adore. Add in fantastically yummy Noah, Tyler, Jacob and Cole, her Fae Guardians, and a great roller coaster of an exciting (and well written) adventure backed by a great supporting cast, and the result is pure reader’s catnip. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises – the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
A thrilling adventure filled with danger, mystery, heat pounding action and undeniable passion even in the face the mounting danger…. Loved it!
Eve Carter has a gift for just knowing things and is unaware of the origins of this gift…. Guardians Noah, Tyler, Jacob and Cole are sent to investigate a disturbance in the veil and find a halfling female that sparks so many things….. Highly entertaining and so hard to put down.. ends on a thrilling cliff.
Guardians of the Magic by Elizabeth Hartwell a five-star read that you will want to guard. What a read, you will get sucked into the world and come out blinking at the end wondering where it went. Eve was such a strong character, you will feel her power coming off the page. What a great new adventure for this author, I for one can’t wait to see where this series will go.
Within the walls of Lunaria, the Queen’s Guards practice daily to hone their skills.
Noah with his staff.
Tyler with his bow.
Jacob with his dagger.
And Cole with his sword.
They all pledge allegiance to their Queen, Cassina.
The Queen and her loyal subjects are in grave danger. A hybrid Human/Fae is threatening their existence and the only way to ensure their survival is to send her best guards to handle this situation. The guards never realized they’d be tracking a paranormal detective on the hunt for Vampires and Shifters that have broken the law.
Eve Carter, paranormal detective, is just trying to keep the peace and punish those that don’t respect it. When the Queen’s Guards find Eve, they are not prepared for the strong, very capable detective. They surely are not prepared for how protective they feel towards her. That’s a huge problem since the Queen’s Guard has sworn their allegiance to Queen Cassina and her alone.
WELL WRITTEN, ORIGINAL STORYLINE THAT WAS RIVITING AS WELL AS SUSPENSEFUL WITH LOTS OF TWISTS AND TURNS THAT WILL KEEP YOU ON YOUR TOES ! GOOD OLD DETECTIVE WORK WITH PLENTY OF ACTION ! UNDENIABLE DESIRE AND OVERWHELMING LUST BRING EVE AND HER NEW FOUND PROTECTORS TOGETHER…THEIR DEEP SOUL CONNECTION BINDS THEM FOR ALL ETERNITY !
This is Book 1 in the series and I cannot wait for book 2! Elizabeth has me hooked on these alpha, sexy, protective guards…Noah, Tyler, Jacob and Cole and their Princess, Eve AN AWESOME MUST READ ! ! !
Eve and the Guardians will have you rethinking everything you know about the mystic. Having been raised in a orphanage, finding a place is a yearning for Eve. Her position as a Paranormal Detective just might be what leads her to discovering everything she could want to know. When there are a rash of supernatural killings in her small sleepy town, Eve knows she has to get to the bottom of it. She never expected her investigation to bring her face to face with the Guardians of Fae or that they would apparently be looking for her. Guardians Noah, Tyler, Jacob and Cole have a mission to bring Eve into the fold so that her powers can be tamed. But in a world where things aren’t always what they seem, it’s unsurprising that secrets and surprises are around every corner.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
