Fun read
Great story about starting over. When forced to do so, the main character took the first steps to begin again, and found success after her first faultering steps. A lovely story full of encouragement and wonderful characters.
This story is about a woman that get caught up in “family”. And it is the first story I read that had no “love” interest. Very refreshing to see a woman finding a new and different way of life.
This book was great. I will have to continue reading the series!
It turned out to be a pretty good book. Easy to follow and interesting characters about a woman’s new life in her hometown she returns to after losing her big city job.
It was ok…
This is a lovely story of finding a different path when life throws you a curve ball.
when I first started this book O was not sure I could get into it, but by the end of the first chapter I was interested and could hardly wait to see what happened next.It held my attention as Melinda began to change her focus on life ,all the while her focus and life values changed in ways that caused her to look at life differently and became happier and more content
I completely enjoyed this book. As soon as I finished it I went to Amazon and got the next book in this series.
I’m not going to reveal any of the story line of this book. I will say this – I thoroughly enjoyed reading a book without the “F” bomb in every other line, no sordid/steamy sex descriptions, characters that will warm your heart, and a real-to-life in a small town setting. So refreshing to know that there are still authors around who have the ability to write beautiful stories like this one. I will look forward to more books by this author and hope they are plentiful. She is a rare and wonderful talent.
I enjoyed this book because it described small town life in fairly realistic ways without becoming maudlin or overly sentimental. I also liked the fact that the female main character managed to get through a crisis without a man as in big romance that promised to solve all her problems and let her live happily ever after. I’m not usually a fan of series but I’ll probably check out the second installment just to see what happens.
A sweet summer read. Makes you yearn for small town living and old time values.
I loved this book. Since I was raised a country girl, I loved that she got the smallest details of the rural lifestyle correct. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series
I really liked this book & would like to read more of this author.
Absolutely charming

this author has it all together…what a charming terriffcally funny book.the characters were to belive and the situations are realistic..recommend this one to everyone..kept my sttention all the way through
Excellent book! Good writing, good story – definitely not the usual formula work. I feel I know the heroine personally and really like her. I truly appreciate characters who take control of their lives – even if that control is thrust upon them. This author has all her characters well in hand; even the lambs and chickens!
I really like the book for the most part I like starting over books but I hated the ending I hate it when it leaves you hanging and doesn’t come to any kind of a summary or closing or wrapping up
