OH EM GEE! Groom was a highly anticipated read for me and it did not disappoint! Logan brings the heat, suspense and unpredictability with this one making you continuously say W.T.F! A superb ending to the Deceit Duet that will keep you glued to the story until it’s actually really over!
I highly recommend Groom but MUST be read AFTER Bride!
We continue exactly where we left off from Book 1. Clementine trying to figure out who she can trust in this game of cat and mouse.
Gabriel is realizing more and more his Grandfather had a secret plan and he needs to decipher exactly what it is and at the same time. Keep Clementine and her son Tennyson safe.
This book is full of suspense, the sexual tension between Gabriel and Clementine leave you having some incredible hot moments.
I enjoyed Book 2 so much more than 1 but can appreciate Book 1 more now that I read 2.. If that makes any sense .
My only wish, I would have loved the epilogue to have been a little further along to see how the relationship has grown and if they would have expanded their family.
Bride and Groom are the best duet of 2019 hands down!
The conclusion to this second duet, Groom was incredible! Just when you think you have a grasp on the mysteries and secrets, BAM, the story takes another turn, leaving you breathless and more immersed in the story. Incredible from beginning to the very end with a few shocking surprises at the end that will have you in tears of happiness and eyes wide in shock at the unexpected events(in a very good way). So well written and impossible to put down, Groom has it all! The BEST read in all of 2019! You have GOT to read this book! I cannot praise Groom enough!
Logan Chance did a phenomenal job on this book, it’s the ultimate Duet , one of the ultimate love stories. This one will stay with me forever. Logan definitely didn’t falter with this he brought the suspense the lies and twist with all the hottness Logan Chance can bring. He truly topped himself with this beautifully written book . That’s what he does best time after time. 5 stars totally yes!
Clementine’s and Gabriel’s story picked up where Bride left off, in full tilt and never stopped.
Groom is full of twists and turns and a blindside that had me rereading the paragraph because my mind said no.
Logan Chance has written an outstanding duet that is easily the BEST read of the year so far for me.
Logan Chance is the “Prince” of the unexpected ! He tells a story full of suspense that leaves you hanging onto your seat. GROOM is no exception. Full of chemistry and intense passion Gabriel and Clementine steamed up my kindle. The anticipation of what will happen next…..will blow your mind. This is good stuff.
The conclusion to Clementine and Gabriel’s story is here! Groom, book two in the Deceit Duet, by Logan Chance was full of steamy chemistry and suspense. Clementine and Gabriel were determined to keep this farce of a marriage as temporary, but neither could deny their connection. They were combustible whenever they were together. The more time they spent together, with and without Tenny, both their walls were beginning to fall.
Gabriel could be a cold and distant man full of determination. But when he cares about someone, he is loyal, caring and very protective. Clementine is caring and sweet. She could not help but see the man Gabriel is. As Gabriel and Clementine begin to fall, there is danger and deceit all around them. Will they make it to the wedding? Groom by Logan Chance is a sexy, steamy and intriguing read!

Happy reading!
Wow what a ending to this duet!!! It had me on the edge of my seat to almost the very end. And the twist and turns it took…was just Woah!!! This was my first two books by Logan Chance and I’m going to fix this problem asap!! I really enjoyed this duet and would definitely recommend it!!! By Tina
GROOM was worth the wait! The build up in BRIDE was the perfect set up for the conclusion of this duet.
Clementine is still holding her secrets close. Gabriel has promised to keep her and Tenny safe no matter the cost. The wedding is approaching and things are getting really tense.
Get ready for a suspense filled ride with some unexpected twists. The attraction between Gabriel and Clem is heating up. Clem and Gabriel finally act on that pent up sexual frustration and they do not hold back!
The author will keep you on your toes with this story. So buckle up and enjoy the climax! You’ll get all the answers to the questions that you were left with after book one and some WOW moments you never saw coming.
Just as preparations for the wedding get really underway, everything seems to be going astray. And the attraction between Clem and Gabriel is not simmering down. It seems to be growing hotter with each passing day. Both of them can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves and it makes for spicy reading. Of course, what’s a good story without a bit of intrigue? It seems that Gabriel has been in the dark as Clem has been keeping secrets. But she doesn’t hold the biggest one. So what will happen when it comes out?
There was one surprise I expected but one I didn’t see coming. This was a great read by Logan Chance. The duet was fantastic and had likeable and fun characters. Gabriel was my favourite and when you read it, you’ll see why. There was a suspenseful story and steamy moments to keep you going. It was truly an enjoyable read.
What a magnificent conclusion to Gabriel and Clementine’s turbulent story! Groom picks up right after that holy freaking cliff of a hanger in Bride. Immediately I was drawn back into their story. Groom is mind-blowing, nail biting and deliciously complex.
If it’s one that I can depend on, is this author’s ability to suck you in with brilliant storytelling! There is no doubt that from the very first page, you’ll be hooked, line and sinker. The suspense and mystery that surrounded everyone had me sitting on the edge of my seat.
This is a flawlessly written story that is intense, raw, gritty, heartbreaking, emotional, passionate, steamy as well gripping suspense and dramatic, which all leads to a fantastic masterpiece that had me totally enthralled throughout this addictive page turner. A fantastic storyline and so addicting you just want more. A must read duet.

This is one of my absolute favorite Duet Series I’ve read to date. Logan Chance has once again blown me away, his mind is pure genius. Logan takes us on the biggest whirl wind ride with this series, be prepared to start reading and not put this book down until the last page and trust me you’ll be asking yourself “what did I just read”?
In book #1 BRIDE we were left with so many unanswered questions, I have been writing down so many possibilities on who is who, what will happen, will there be an HEA, will the wedding take place ?
Well….. this author completely threw me off. Logan is known for his plot twists, Angst, rom-com funny lines, and yes let’s not forget the dirty talking sexy af scenes that will melt your kindles, well he delivered all these and then some in this story. I’m still hung over after reading this book 2x already and I’m sure ill be reading it again soon.
Gabriel & Clementine have raced up to my favorite couple, these two fight their attraction to each other and well we all know what happens when you try to fight the inevitable? Yep some of the hottest sexiest scenes I’ve read in a long time. Both these characters are strong willed, stubborn and watching them both had we gasping and waiting to see what will happen next.
I’ve been so stuck on writing this review because I don’t want to give anything away, you will be kept guessing throughout this story on what will happen and how but…… once again Logan and his mastermind will surprise you and you will not know what hit you.
I can’t recommend this series enough it is shear perfection so if you haven’t started the duet yet go grab BRIDE and then dive right into GROOM and be ready for the ride of your life.
Kudos Logan on yet another brilliant story the conclusion in this Duet was nothing short of PERFECTION.
Logan Chance what can I say?
Groom was absolutely amazing it answered all my questions that I’ve been going crazy for weeks trying to figure out. Unbelievable you amaze me how your mind works, you can put twists and turns like no other…… you kept me guessing throughout this story then gave us a phenomenal conclusion.
Txs again for yet another brilliant read.
Guys…… make sure you Pre Order if you haven’t yet, and clear your schedule because you will not I repeat you will not be able to put this book down till the end.
Bravo on a job well done
That was everything I was hoping it would be!! Gabriel & Clementine are irresistible to each other. Their passion a fiery inferno that consumes them. And the machinations of those in the background of their fire, does not douse it! I can’t tell you anything specific but OMG, THAT TWIST!! Logan, you’ve done it again! You have given us a fireworks against the night sky over our own private island kind of fantabulous HEA!! Always the right mix of wit, fire, and that touch of drama and mystery!! I love, love, loved it!! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Omg, I don’t have words to describe Groom by Logan Chance. It is the MUST READ conclusion Clementine and Gabriel’s story. The chemistry between them burns up the pages. Mixed with that chemistry is a web of lies that could destroy them if the wedding wasn’t already planned.
Clementine continues to have her son’s best interest in mind. He is her world. She’s strong minded but yet weak when it comes to her attraction to Gabriel. Giving into him is too easy because he makes her feel things she’s never felt before. You can’t build a relationship on lies and her struggle to tell Gabriel the truth makes her mind worry about the consequences of not being truthful from the start.
Gabriel has no idea what hit him. He’s a mixed bag of emotions that he has no idea how to control. Deep down he knows what his heart needs but it’s not what his mind wants. Thought the book, he really struggles with these unfamiliar emotions. He is a man of congrol, per
As with any relationship, the lies hit both of them like a ton of bricks. Multiple layers of lies, protection, and regret come to light. These lies affect more than Clementine and Gabriel. Family bonds are tested and retested which adds to the emotional rollercoaster that effects both Gabriel and Clementine.
Logan has written a beautiful, steamy, love story that builds in anticipation of what’s to come and will keep you turning each page. Groom is the second book in the Deceit Duet. You must read Bride first since Groom starts off where Bride left off. I truly loved this duet and hope that we will hear more about the lives of Clementine and Gabriel. I received an advance copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are mine.
First, I wanted to give a shout out to Logan! I have been reading his books since he releases his debut. He has found his groove and then some! The Deceit Duet was exceptional! Groom blew me away and I had no clue if Gabriel and Clem would get a break. The intensity in this story was rocket high. My pulse sped up and I had to finish this book in one setting. There is no way I was going to be able stop in one place. Bride had me speechless while Groom left me breathless. Seriously, I devoured this book and stayed out of reality. Great weekend read and days to come that I will be thinking of the Deceit Duet!
Wow, the conclusion to this duet was stunning. After Bride I thought I knew what was going on but I was wrong. Good job keeping me guessing Logan Chance.
I really loved Gabriel and Clementine and their chemistry. The build was fun to watch as it tinged with worry about outside forces. You can’t help who you fall in love with.
“The sharks swimming and lurking in the depths below are not near as dangerous as the man standing before me. If anything will bite, it’s him.” ~ Clementine
Just wow, I have been anxiously awaiting the conclusion to the Deceit Duet and the author did not disappoint me. This is a very well written, exciting, storyline with twists and turns right up to the very end. Groom takes off right from where the cliffie left us in Bride (part 1 of this duet) and never slowed down. The storyline took my emotions on a rollercoaster ride as the suspenseful romance unfolded. I was left in the dark as to the outcome until the very end.
Mr. Chance’s books never ceases to amaze me. His style has such diversity that his books have all held me captive no matter the genre. I would rank this Duet as one of my very favorites and I offer the author kudos for a job well done. I Highly Recommend grabbing up The Deceit Duet (Bride and Groom), you won’t regret it. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for an Amazing Suspenseful Romance.
Their impending wedding looms before them. The planning is upon them.
Choices, decisions, and guest lists surround them as they hide secrets from each other.
It’s not real all that they have, all that they share or is it, could denial be playing a part?
This is a direct continuation from the bride book one in the duet.
All the questions I had have now been answered, I feel free. I can relax and my mind can be still. Heaven!
Everything tied up in a beautiful expensive and lavish bow, with lots of extra surprises along the way too.
Gabriel is not the monster nor the true villain. Hes just a very wealthy business man, who happens to be a prince thats marrying the girl to keep his riches.
Clementine is the girl who’s hiding in the dark and desperately trying to stay out of the limelight that’s been thrust upon her. Shes doing her best with the cards that fate dealt her.
The sparks are real, the fireworks are beautiful and the atmosphere they create through a deep desire is blissful.
A beautiful couple that just need to open their eyes and see what we see.
Two quick and easy reads that combine to introduce and conclude their story. I must admit I still wish for more.
There could of been more depth, but I’m not going to complain. I’m sat here all smiley faced and satisfied.
Four and a half stars from me!
Omg Logan chance as done it again.
Groom is book 2 to the deceit duet. It picks up were bride left off.
This was also hot and steamy that I needed to fan myself down.
Gabriel is still that arrogant man and still wants to marry clementine.
Somewhere between bride and groom gabriel fell for clementine but wasn’t ready to admit it.
At times though gabriel did annoy me that I was like don’t you marry him clem.
He did in the end grow on me and I think I fell in love with gabriel.
Clementine is still that strong woman trying to do what’s best for her and her son tennyson.
So much so that she is still willing to marry gabriel. She is also hiding a secret that is dangerous for her and her son. I wont say anymore about that I wont spoil it for you.
The ride that Logan takes you on is beautiful. The twists and turns were amazing. you weren’t expecting it but at the same time you kind of do expect it.
The love they had for each other at the end was beautiful.
Thank you Logan for another amazing book.
I recieved a ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and I’m volunteering to leave this review.
I highly recommend this book you wont be disappointed.
An excellent conclusion to the Deceit Duet. Gabriel and Clementine are forced into marriage by the last will of Gabriel’s grandfather. In this book, we learned all the answers. There are many twists and turns, it might get you dizzy. Groom is full of angst, questions and it’s a page turner. I love the way Mr. Chance weaves the story, one never knows where it will go.
Review copy was received for a honest opinion.
