A matchmaking agency for beasts, and the women tough enough to love them from the author of Shiftr: Swipe Left For Love.Savannah Olson is looking to start over, after a drunk driver crashed into her life, destroying her pregnancy, her relationship and her ability to have children. Her luck seems to be finally changing when mail-order bride service, MateMatch, delivers a match. But she didn’t … But she didn’t count on being sent to an isolated ghost town, inhabited by feral shifters too broken to live in society. Not only that, but the big unfriendly bear she’s been matched with knows nothing about her, and has no interest in finding a mate.
Garrett Sanders lives a life of guilt and self-recrimination, barely able to control his bear. All he wants is to hide away in Ragtown and raise his three orphaned charges in peace—well, as much peace as he can get in Ragtown, anyway. When a cute, curvy human arrives in town insisting she’s his mate, his bear gets all riled up and unstable. Letting her stay in his house seems like madness, but for some reason, his protective instincts go into overdrive around her.
Tough, caring and sexy as hell, Savannah is the most perfect mate Garrett could imagine, but he can’t let go of his conviction that he’s not right for anyone. And when tensions heat up in Ragtown, a side of him emerges that he never wanted to see again. Can Savannah help him to forgive himself, before his past ruins everything?
Promised: romance, heat and sexy shifters. HEA and no cheating, of course!

Grizzly Mate – Ariana Hawkes – The bar may be called Last Chans, but all of Ragtown is on its last leg. When Savannah answers a matchmaking ad to an address-less bear shifter who doesn’t seem to want a mate, you know chaos will ensue. Good thing the local librarian hasn’t given up on the crazy men in town who could all use a second chance (and some gainful occupation). Cool world building but a strangely abrupt end. I’m thinking book two will continue the story of the meth making wolves (did I mention gainful employment?). Happy Reading!
Loved the fact that both Susannah and Garrett both seemed to be broken in some way, but with caring for 3 orphaned cubs they seemed to all come together as a true family.
Garret isn’t the warm and cozy male. He is a great step in dad but when it comes to a mate he doesn’t want to open that door. Add Savannah to the mix and he will start rethinking that idea. This little town of outcasts is a great place and I cannot wait to see who is next to be set up by the matchmaking.
Such a great book.
I liked Savannah but felt sorry for all she had went through. I know she had to wonder why on Fate would being her to Ragtown. She had to feel disappointed when Garrett had no clue why she was there.
Garrett was this hot sexy bear shifter. I love how Savannah could see through his roughness and see the man he really was. When reading this book I got to see how broken Garrett as and how passionate Savannah was. She was not one to judge but she wanted to give everyone a chance. she could be the healing Garrett needs.
I loved reading about the walls being broke down piece by piece from Garretts heart. It was like this invisible force that was pulling these two together..
This was truly a great book and glad I got a chance to read it.

Well written, definitely a Must Read!
Savannah is human, she drove to a ghost town call Ragtown. She applied to MateMatch and here she was with a picture looking at old boarded up houses with no address on them. Nothing looked encouraging. She could go back she really didn’t want to go back. She’ll just have to find her mate, Garrett!
Garrett is a BearShifter living in Ragtown with other shifters, they all had rage problems like him. Blood was always spilled daily. This human comes to his door wanting to get to know him because they we’re matched. He did not go to MateMatch let alone who would match him and to a human?
This review is my own opinion, this author is one that I love to read her books. This book is packed with action and boy do you feel the rage in Ragtown…NOW whose next?

Very enjoyable and entertaining read. And a great start for a new series. Poor Savannah man did she have to go through some things before she got the HEA she deserve. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
A very enjoyable and entertaining book, a great start for a new series. Savannah had man trouble and she thought the matchmaker website was the answer to her troubles until she met Garrett. This storyline tells how they got their HEA. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I received this book , as a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Two broken people meant for greatness
This book is match making at its best! The author added a layer of unexpected mystery to a normal match making keeping me on my toes as the characters tried to navigate the unexpected. I love the town and its quirky characters! Each one has their own set of pain, but they still manage to make life work for them. The story is entertaining and I enjoyed the drama that ensued on the way to the HEA. This was a fantastic read and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
*WARNING* contains explicit sexual situations and violence
Garrett lives in Ragtown because it’s all shifters who are broken. Garrett knows his bear us a broken beast, but he has three children to raise, so this town is his best option.
Savannah is a human who thought she was mate to a wolf shifter until he kicked her to the curb. Savannah packed everything she owned in her car and headed to Ragtown when MatchMate sent her an email with her perfect match.
It’s hard to resist the damaged ones. This was okay. This story was a lot like many I have read. The girl wounded girl meets the damaged guy. The majority of the story is about how one or the other fights against the attraction because they’re so damaged that they’re unworthy. Eventually said person gets their head out of their butt and the two get the HEA. Good story, but predictably average.
