Marissa Melrose is in for the battle of a lifetime.
Rule #9: No sex with the landlord.
Subleasing my best friend’s Bay Area apartment came at the perfect time – an easy way to escape memories of a broken engagement and start fresh. She promised the list of outrageous rules I agreed to were nothing to worry about.
Then the elusive landlord appeared next door and everything changed. Hotter … everything changed. Hotter than hell soccer superstar, Ryland Bates. He turns me on with his muscles and take charge attitude. Too bad every time he opens his mouth I want to shove the list of rules down his throat.
Aspen ran off with her prince charming and left me to slay the dragon.
What am I supposed to do when he starts breathing fire and sets me ablaze?
It’s time to break a few rules.

Cute story with Marissa who sublets Aspens apartment when she moves in with Finn. Marissa just broke up with her fiancee when he cheated so she moved away to SF and moves into the apartment that Ryland owns but Aspen tells her she will not see much of him since he is a hockey player and is gone most of the time. Ryland has some crazy rules for living in the apartment so when he comes back he finds all kinds of his rules broken by this new tenant but when he puts his foot down it does not take him long to give in when she breaks her foot and is on crutches. What starts out as a friend helping another soon turns to a friends to lovers.
What happens when life as you know it comes to a halt amd everything seems to change? Ry is a professional soccer player and has been let go from his team for fighting. He comes home to find the tenant he had rented his apartment to jas moved out and subleased it out to her friend.
Marissa is coming out of a bad relationship and dealing with horrible blind dates. When she gets hurt Ry comes to her rescue and offers to help her. These twp slowly become tentative friends. Will sparks fly or will theu remain friends
The author has pulled us into the lives of Marissa and Ryland and never lets go. The story grabs your attention with lust, love and humor so that you keep turning the pages to find out if Marissa and Ryland will be able to have a happily ever after.

Marissa & Ry’s story. I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t leave it down. I loved the connection between Ray and Marissa and how it developed over time. The suspense of will they, won’t they get together/stay together had me on edge right the way through, and I loved the happy ending. I really love all the characters in this series and the fact that they are still featured in the storylines. I would really recommend this book, really enjoyable, well written and very easy to read, can’t wait for the next one in the series!

Ryland and Marissa lights this story up. Marissa is regrouping after dumping her cheating ex. She subleases an apartment that has a lot of rules which she proceeds to break by the sticky notes that she receives. There is a change when she injures herself and Rylan comes to her assistance. He is restructuring his life after being kicked off of the team he plays on. As these two spend time together feelings heats up. Will Ryland be the one to help her get over her cheating ex and possibly her path to a happily ever after.

This is book three in The Boys of RDA Series and it is Ryland and Marissa’s story. Marissa has had a hard time of it recently after a broken engagement and she needs to get away so renting her best friend apartment came just at the right time or did it. Ryland is a popular soccer player and a ladies man according to the media and he is also Marissa’s landlord so when she meets him there is no way that she will have anything to do with his as she has had enough of this type of man to last her a life time so how can Ryland convince her that he is not what they portray him to be. Wow this is a really great book and the characters had such chemistry but will they act on it. Megan Matthews is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will not be disappointed.

Love this new book from this author. It is easy to read and well written. I can not wait for more from this author.
once again you have written a page turner, with a twist or two on the way. It also leads well into the next book. It also gives insight into the past, which makes this also a read alone book. Lots of humor and realistic thoughts from one side of the equation. It was a very good read and much enjoyed.
