I was the golden child. The one all the Cerberus guys looked up to. I was on my way to becoming the next career Marine. But after my last deployment to Syria, being a Marine was no longer an option.Unfortunately, my not so honorable discharge from the Corps didn’t get rid of the demons created while I was enlisted. Not even my childhood friend can save me. I’ll destroy her just like I destroyed … her just like I destroyed everything else I touched.

Loved everything about this book!! Marie just never disappoints, she’s an amazing author!
Outstanding characters, realistic problems & trials & HEA…. what more could you ask for?! Sexy men!! And you got ‘em!
Loved everything Griffin & Ivy, even if it made me cry.
Okay so first off I have to say gawd I waited so long for this book and hands down Marie James delivered with it!
Next in the agenda is Griffin. Oh I didn’t like him at the beginning! I knew he was going through a lot but how he treated Ivy?! Gawd I wanted to punch him! But I still loved him and I new he would redeem himself and he did.
Ivy was an angel through all of this book and you can’t help but fall in love with her sweet and loving nature. I found this book was addictive right from the start. And impossible to put down till the very end.
Hands down Griffin is my favourite book of 2019. And I can’t wait to see what else Marie has for us this year!
The Cerberus 2.0 has been epically amazing and addictive and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Griffin is the 8th book in this series & I have loved each & every one of them. They get better as they go.
Griffin has been discharged from the service & has come home a broke man. There is only one person that can save him & he doubts that even she can do it. He feels that he will break her also, just like the rest of his world. Griffin is having problems living with himself after some of the things he did while in the service & Ivy seems to be able to help him through most of his problems even though it takes a bit of a toll on her as well.
This Cerberus Series just keeps getting better & better. You really need to pick up this series & read it. Marie James does a marvelous job on these books & I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series.
Heartbreakingly honest, this book gives readers a look into what our heroes, the military men, may have to suffer as they deal with what they had to, to protect our freedoms. I felt heartbroken for Griffin, even as he spiraled into despair and destruction, using alcohol as a crutch. I don’t imagine that this is probably typical of men and women who sacrifice their mental well being to keep the masses safe. My thanks for their service.
The romance aspect was also a little heartbreaking. Ivy, a sweet girl, has been in love with Griffin and therefore, tries to help him. He’s not in a place to not hurt anyone close to him so there’s a lot of push and pull. I absolutely adored them getting together, finding their strength together but it was a difficult journey. A beautiful, heartfelt story that showcases how strong and brave our military people have to be and how much those people who love them should be honored as well. Definitely an amazing read.
I listened to the audiobook (awesome sale, 4 books for one credit!) and it was great. Aaron Shedlock has this gorgeously smooth voice and Kasha Kensington was also great- perfect pacing, nice emotional read. Well done!
This is an absolutely amazing story of friendship, healing, redemption, and unconditional love. Griffin and Ivy’s journey is not all roses, they definitely have a rocky road, but their destination is beautiful. I love this book immensely.
My heart absolutely broke for the struggle that Griffin goes through. He is in such a bad place that he can’t see the help that is right in front of his face. He doesn’t want to put others in jeopardy and instead wallows and suffers alone, ruins relationships and hurts those that care about him.
Ivy, oh man that girl has a heart of gold. She has loved Griffin for years but he never sees her, just when she thinks things could be different her heart get battered over and over again. Griffin needs Ivy but he hasn’t woken up to see what is in front of him and the journey these two take is an emotional one that had me feeling such a wide range of emotions.
This was another great Cerberus MC book and I can never get enough of these. Marie does such a great job with her stories. You can feel the emotions they are feeling and the struggle and it made me fall that much more in love with this book.
Another amazing book by this author!! This is a fantastic addition to what it’s an amazing series. It was exciting and emotional. The characters were great and very relatable. Was very hard to put down once I started.
After following orders he didn’t agree with Griffin commits an act that gets his discharged from the services. Who knew trying to sell pot to a mp would get you in hot water? After being forced to go home he finds a cabin to hide out in.
Ivy has been friends with Griffin since she can remember. When he asks to be left alone she hunts him down until she finds him. As the decisions of his past haunt him she tries to help him see the light.
No matter how hard he tries to push her away she just won’t go. When he finally sobers up enough to see straight he starts seeing things in a whole new light.
Can he ever forgive himself the sins of his past or will he continue to torture himself forever?
Oh my. I have loved this series from book one. This book is no exception to that. The story is real. The characters are relatable. The heat is hot. The drama is thick. I so very strongly recommend this series.

Great addition to the Cerberus MC series. Seeing the man Griffin has grown into. As with all military service people there are struggles but Ivy is the girl that he never gave a second thought to that now is the only girl that can calm and soothe his mind and paranoia. Can Ivy take on that responsibility and help save Griffin from himself and the threats that may not be only in his head?
I loved Griffin. He had a lot of demons but he started working through them with Georgia. I was so happy to see them finally end up together but not so happy about the way the military treated him even though it was the higher up officer that caused it all. I recommend this book and every other Cerberus Book she has written. Marie James is the bomb!
Griffin and Ivy grew up together, but due to her shyness, and her over the top twin sister, they never interacted much. She has been in love with him for years, and he never really noticed her much. Griffin has been in the Marines for four years and Ivy moved away to college, but now she finds out he is back under strange circumstances. There isn’t any chance she won’t rush home to check on him. Griffin is tortured by events while he was deployed. The only relief he finds is in the bottom of a bottle until Ivy shows up. Will she be able to help Griffin in his time of greatest need or will he drive her away with his self destructive ways? I thought Ivy needed a little more backbone and that things wrapped up a little to fast and neatly, but this was a good read overall.
Love, love, LOVE this book! Highly reccomend!!
This long awaited addition to the Cerberus MC series was a terrific delight! Griffin and Ivy’s story was such a pleasure to read. Marie James continues to make this MC series one of my all time favorites. She has skillfully written these characters with so much life that you can’t help but fall in love with them. Griffin’s struggles with what happened during his time in the Marines and Ivy, who crushed on him from afar during their childhood, is determined to help him. Through the good and the bad, Griffin finally sees Ivy as more than just a silly girl crushing on him.
This entire series is a must read and I look forward to book 9, Samson!!!
It’s heartbreaking to see Griffin suffer mental and emotional trauma after leaving the military. Things that happen in the military during war times you just don’t talk about. He is spiraling downwards to the path of self destruction. Alcohol. Depression. Paranoid. Alienating himself from his family and friends who care and love him. I could feel his pain flow from the pages into my heart.
Ivy has had a crush on Griffin since childhood. She doesn’t realize just how strong she is by helping Griffin deal with his demons.
Ch 38 is hilarious during the sex scene and Ch 39 marriage and c rag. You just have to read it.
I loved Griffin and Ivy’s story. A must read!!
Griffin is back from being dishonorable discharged from the Marines. He never thought his life would turn out like it has now. He’s dealing with demons and using the bottle to help. Ivy is the daughter of the MC President Kincaid. She is three years younger than Griffin and has always had a crush on him. Griffin never thought of her as a love interest but that will change. Ivy is determined to help Griffin overcome his demons. Will things work out? How will the parents feel about a relationship between them? A good read about the next generation of the MC.
Absolutely loved bit. I was totally captivated by this book!. I couldn’t make it down until I was completely finished. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing read
Another good Cerberus MC book
Ivy has loved Griffin forever but has been too shy to even talk to him. Growing up together, he seems more attracted to her more outgoing twin Gigi. When she finds out that he’s left the Marines under less than honorable conditions, she hurries home to find out what happened, never expecting the person she finds.
Griffin is fighting demons from an action he took under duress while stationed in Syria. He’s ashamed of his actions but doesn’t feel worthy enough to talk to his father or any of the other members of the Cerberus MC. So he begins drinking in the hopes of silencing the demons – maybe even dying. What he doesn’t count on is Ivy coming home and pushing him to open up.
Griffin comes home from the Mariners after being dishonorably discharged he feels his life is over and wants to be alone. Ivy has loved Griffin as long as she remembers but Griffin had only had eye for her twin sister . When Ivy hears Griffin is comeing home she comes home for the summer hoping to help him out. Griffin is going back and forth with ivy from makeing her sad to happy and the more time he spends with her the more he begins to see what hes missing. there story is amazing and I could not put it down Marie James has done it a again
Griffin is the eight title in the Cerberus MC series, but only the third in the 2.0 Second Generation of the Cerberus MC.
Griffin is the eldest of the Cerberus MC children, and boy is he a complicated hero, who has his fair share of demons from his time in the military.
Genevieve ‘Ivy’ Anderson is one of the daughters of the President of the Cerberus MC. She’s suffered with unrequited love since she was a child where Griffin is concerned. She’s kind, caring and compassionate, and determined to help him heal, no matter the cost.
Ivy and Griffin’s story is angst ridden, and both heartfelt and heartbreaking at the same time.
I loved the cameo appearances of characters both from the first generation and second generation of Cerberus MC.
What did you do when the one person you have loved forever is killing himself and hurting everyone they are supposed to love?
Lily has loved Griffin since they were little and he never returned the feelings when he got discharged from the military no one knows what happened and he is pushing everyone away.
Now she will not let him fall. No matter what he says ot does!!
When the truth comes out and the love that is there are what will help pull Griffin through
