I adore this series. Each book is about a strong alpha warrior who was brought to his knee during conflict and is facing the battle of a lifetime. Enduring the pain of rebuilding his body and soul at Hathaway House. This story is one that just touches the soul. Gregory is a SEAL who was injured in battle. After various different treatments and therapy, he goes to Hathaway House as his former love, Meredith Anderson is a nurse there. They parted five years ago as Meredith didn’t want Gregory to leave her for the Navy.
These two have an emotional road to haul to get to their HEA. Both have to face their part in their break-up. Meredith also has the additional burden of seeing the man she once loved and still does, go through the journey of healing his broken body.
There were so many great sections in this book that I had to re-read them over and over. This book is such a emotional roller-coaster. You will go on a high and then plunge into a low with the characters. Having this book written in a dual POV format really helps to make these two more human.
This is a sweet, clean second chance romance that I would highly recommend to anyone.
All books in this series are very good and inspiring.
I loved this book. I loved the story. I thought it was great that they had to work to make it work. He is a Seal, and she is a nurse. Both are strong with passion and never-ending love. That they both after so many years of loving and missing each other had so many doubts and both really want it to work but scared it would not. Making it work through adversity makes it all that much sweeter.

Another 5 star read added to this wonderful series.
You’ll smile through happy tears and simply cry tears of hurt, anger and frustration as you read these pages and feel the feeling these awesome characters bring forth. At least that’s how I felt while reading this book.
Dale Mayer has never disappointed me when it comes to any of her books and this series, this book #7 are no different. Where does this great author just keep coming up with these “all the feels” books that can literally bring you to your knees where you seemingly feel every emotion the characters feel.
Gregory Parkins is arriving at Hathaway House Rehabilitation and will come face to face with his past from 5 years ago, before. The before being when his body was still whole and undamaged and he had walked away from the woman he could never get over Meredith Anderson and she is a nurse at Hathaway House. Can they get past their past and go on to have a future together? Grab a glass of wine or your favorite reading drink, put your feet up, grab a fuzzy throw, I mean it’s December, and don’t forget the tissue because you’ll likely need them. Now enjoy this book just 1/2 as much as I did and Dale will be happy.
Gregory is recovering from an IED explosion and since most of his surgeries are done, he is researching rehab facilities to finish his recovery. He has experienced rehab and feels he has a pretty good handle on that part. While looking for a place he comes upon a picture of the staff at Hathaway House that includes Meredith triggering memories of the woman he met 5 years ago and knew for only 3 weeks. However he has not been able to forget her. They disagreed about him going back into the Navy. He needed to return and she wanted him to stay with her. She had lost a brother overseas and wasn’t ready to repeat that pain. They did not leave on good terms but he decided to choose Hathaway House with her in mind.
Gregory’s therapist Shane, was tougher than anticipated and he (Gregory) had more trouble than he expected with the rehab. So despite the great food, Dennis in the kitchen happy to help, Stan the vet with all the animals, many of them therapy ones and great support all around, Gregory faltered at first. His team felt Meredith should back off from being his primary nurse for a short period which had positive and negative affects for both parties.
This is a great heartwarming story that tugs on your heart strings and reminds you that life can sometimes hand you a lot of challenges. It’s a quick read, 126 pages according to Amazon (others list it as longer), but packs a lot onto each page.
The epilogue includes a look at the next book in the series that includes Heath who also chooses Hathaway House for much different reasons. Apparently Houston has always been home and he has a gut feeling he wants to follow. I’m looking forward to another adventure there.
I really enjoyed reading GREGORY .
I love the Hathaway House series .
This story is just as wonderful as the others in this series . GREGORY is well written. It’s quite a emotional journey Gregory and Meredith and their second
chance at a relationship . Gregory Parkins arrives at Hathaway House in search of the woman he let get away Meredith Anderson a Nurse also to finish his rehabilitation . Gregory does not realize it is not going to be easy . He has his work cut out for him . He is I for a ride awakening . I really think this is a beautiful story . I highly recommend taking the time to read this story and enjoy .

Gregory by Dale Mayer
Hathaway House Series Book Seven
Gregory Parkins isn’t the man he was five years ago. Back then, he only thought of himself and he was whole. Now, as he sits with his body broken from war, all he can think about is the girl he left behind five years…and second chances. And he knows just where to go to try for that second chance.
Meredith Anderson is a nurse at Hathaway House. After reading about a new patient coming in…and how badly broken his body is…she’s surprised to see who it is. A man from her past. A man she’s never forgotten. A man she’s never moved on from. Maybe with him here they can finally have closure.
Shane and the team aren’t easy on these guys. The SEALs were the best of the best and they still have that in them, even though they don’t believe it. They may hate the people who push them…but in the end, when they leave Hathaway House, they have their spirit…and their life back. I love this series!

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
This is a wonderful addition to the A Hathaway House series, it’s not my favorite story in the series but it is still really enjoyable. This second chance romance is really emotional and both Gregory and Meredith need to get over the past in order to have a future, Gregory still has loads of physical healing to overcome and with Meredith and the staff at Hathaway House anything is possible.
Gregory thinks he’s doing really well with his rehab, but in actuality his progress is stalled. He’s filled out applications to Hathaway House but hasn’t sent them in, but finally he finishes the last few questions on the one online and sends it. The woman he hasn’t been able to forget is a nurse there and maybe just maybe he can win her back. Not the best motivation but at least it got him to try.
Meredith is a bit shocked when she reads through the new patients coming in as she reads some pretty horrific injuries and recognizes Gregory’s name. After a talk with Dani she feels she is ready to see what happens, not only with his rehab, but also with them.
Therapy at Hathaway House is a lot different than anywhere else. Shane seems to know how to get to the root of things and as a result Dani has Meredith back away for a while, changing her shift and patients.
Gregory has a lot of anger and when it comes through it’s epic. Shane is there to sort of guide him so he doesn’t cause himself further injury, but he’s also going to push a little.
While Gregory was dealing with his anger, Meredith also has some soul searching to do. Being away from Gregory hurt, almost as much as not supporting him five years ago. So much to sort out, for both of them.
Once again I couldn’t stop reading. So much courage, resolve, pain, and love. Communication is always key, but both parties need to listen as well.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I love this series!
A heartwarming story of personal challenge. Gregory thought he had already been there and done everything there was to do for his rehab, until he started working with the highly talented staff at Hathaway House.
Gregory’s main drive for applying at Hathaway House was seeing Meredith again and testing that spark they once had. Things tend to snowball when you don’t expect it and Gregory found that it was very difficult to deal with the new pain in his body and Meredith’s lack of interest in him personally.
I enjoyed Gregory’s journey in discovering who he really is today verses who he was before the accident that changed his life. I find it satisfying that he found a way through therapy to make such drastic improvements. I also enjoyed Meredith’s method of dealing with Gregory as a patient and finding a way to develop her relationship with him in a personal way.
A soulful test into awareness and acceptance with a very sweet HOA! I loved it!
When Gregory Perkins was blow up by a boon he was injured his career in the Seals is over. One thing Gregory regrets more than anything is losing Meredith. When he finds out she works as a nurse at Hathaway House he decides that’s where he wants to do his rehab an also see if Meredith will give him a second chance. There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what’s next by this multi talented author.
A second chance story of an injured SEAL, Greg, who goes to Hathaway House to heal and really wants to get in because of Meredith, a woman who’s a nurse there now and someone he has never forgotten. He still has a lot healing to do even though he thinks he’s good and Meredith also has some healing to do, mainly coming to terms of their past.
A great read with not just one person hurting but the woman as well. They go through hard times and there’s some miscommunication, but the process both go through to finally get their HEA will leave a smile on your face at the end.

Shooting for a “Two-Fer”
Not only did Gregory know from his friends that Hathaway House would be the best place for his recovery, but also that it would give him an opportunity to perhaps reconnect with his lost love–Hathaway House staff member Melanie Anderson. Five years ago, after three weeks of dating, each knew the other was “the one.” However, each of them also had differing ideas of what the other was willing to do to keep the relationship going. Long story short, each immediately regretted the disagreement that split them up, but Gregory had already left for his mission and then was severely injured and out of commission for a couple of years. When Melanie sees his file as an incoming patient, to whom she is assigned as primary care nurse, she is shocked by the extent of his injuries.
After several surgeries and physical therapy, Gregory believes he is ready for serious rehab. Confident of success at Hathaway House and in reuniting with Melanie, he quickly realizes the challenge he is facing. Not only is the physiotherapy there much more vigorous than he’s been used to, but nurse staffing is short with two of Melanie’s colleagues off-site for a couple of weeks. She is working long shifts to meet the heavier workload. With neither time nor energy, it’s going to be a tough road for both of them.
The Hathaway House series is an emotional journey with strong people facing big challenges. Always gives me strength to see what they accomplish and hope that I will be up to meeting my own challenges the way they do.

I can’t say enough positive things about this series. This book was just as awesome as the others that have come before it. I love the fact that the series includes animals and veterans. I love how so much attention is paid to how the veterans in the books come out swinging even though they feel they are broken from their injuries. I love how the animals in the series also get so much attention paid to them. This book kept me engrossed from the start. I loved the main characters and of course I love the characters from the other books in the series that are included in the book. I love how each book is centered around one injured veteran and how they get so much attention. This book is definitely one you will want to read if you love romance, books about our veterans who have been injured serving our country and if you love animals. Love, love, love this series and look forward to the next book!

I enjoyed this touching and emotional second chance military romance and was totally immersed in all that was happening from beginning to end. I really liked the undeniable chemistry and second chance romance between injured SEAL Gregory Parkins and Meredith Anderson, his primary care nurse at Hathaway House Rehab Center. I was not ready for the book to end when I got to the last page and look forward to book eight in this must-read series. I received an advance reader copy of “Gregory” and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Another wonderful read from Hathaway house. Gregory walked away from the best think that had ever happened to him……Meredith, now a nurse at Hathaway but then she did the same thing. Now he is back but broken after being injured in the line of duty. With unsure feelings, anger and confusion the two of them have to navigate the past, the present and future to get through to the other side. Will they be able to clear the air???? Will there be a future??? A great all the feels and emotions read without the heat. Loved the characters and the storyline and can’t wait for more.
Each Hathaway House story is so very different, each book just gets better. In this case, Gregory arrives at Hathaway House with a dual purpose. He strives to heal from his injuries but he is also seeks to find someone from his past who now works at Hathaway House. Reality is a shock to Gregory on several levels. It is awesome and humbling as the reader sees the healing process, a process that is complicated and far reaching. Bravo!!

This has been such a beautifully sweet series, you cant help but fall in love with them. Page after page is packed with overcoming, love amd friendship. I love this series but I think this is my favorite book so far.
I love this series so much. Strong alpha men brought to breakable point by injuries suffered while serving their country, forced to re think everything in their lives. While recovery and working out what to do with the rest of their lives and if they are worthy of love, meeting strong women able to deal with the abilities they still have as well as those they lost. This is a second chance story, this couple met before, it isn’t straight forward. With some angst and very powerful emotions, this plot brought me to tears in places, I felt for both characters and was literally speed reading with fingers crossed. I mean I know deep down the author wont let me down and they will find their happy but authors do surprise me sometimes and stories don’t always go the way I expect, to find out if this does you will have to buy it yourself coz I’m not telling. Is it worth it? oh yes!
Gregory wants to be at Hathaway House, but not just for the top notch treatment they provide. Meredith is a nurse there, and five years ago they had a brief relationship.
They’ve both got strong personalities, and they are both stubborn. Knocking heads seems to be the only way they can communicate now. Dani and Shane keep them apart for a little over a week to help Gregory deal with his anger. Both suffer through the time apart, but they also learn a little about themselves.
This book has all the feels.. Can be read as standalone, but reading them in order gives you the whole experience of Hathaway House.
A fantastic book that will tug on your heartstrings, but leave you smiling.
