GREED (The Elite Seven Series #7) I’m hungry. My greed is insatiable.I’m a slave to the need. The drive for more. For everything. Once I decide I want something, the greed for it consumes me.I want answers.I want justice.I want vengeance.I want HER.My best friend and his sister—the girl I vowed could trust in me and whom I would always protect—dropped off the map two years ago. My own father … off the map two years ago. My own father pledged assurances that they’d been living a life they deserved.
Lies. Lies. Lies.
Hell hath no fury like a man who has no fucks to give and a mission to fulfill his promise.
I may be a greedy sonofabitch, but I’m also a loyal one. Cross me or my brothers, and I’ll come for your throat. And my teeth are razor sharp.
When I discover the corruption running deep within my own bloodline, I take a stand to right the wrongs. I had no idea their darkness would lead me to the light—to her.
The Lust I have for her will keep me grounded.
The Wrath for those who betrayed us will ignite the fight inside me.
And the Greed for victory will consume our enemies in a tidal wave of Hell’s fury.
They say the three gates of Hell are Lust, Wrath, and Greed.
Well, open up, motherfuckers…Daddy’s home.
I am Micah Dixon.
I am Greed.

Greed is one of contemporary society’s most grievous vices and it’s one that seems to be continually fed by those individuals consumed with having it all, regardless of who they have to step over or hurt to get what they want, and everything is exponentially greater and the people greedier in the world of the Elite Seven because they’re the ones chosen to reign over everyone else, reaping the benefits of the secret society while reveling in the chaos of their own creation and bound together by loyalty to the brotherhood as well as a strong desire to take down the ‘bad guys” by whatever means necessary, even if that means sacrifices have to be made.
Micah absolutely personifies the deadly sin of greed. He wants it all…anything and everything he can get his hands on without giving up anything else. And, in his mind, it all begins with taking down the people he despises – the ones who play with people’s minds and emotions, refusing to stop their maliciousness despite the pain and suffering it causes.
Throughout the series, readers haven’t learned too much about Micah Dixon, which means that when it’s his turn to be the male lead, we learn just as much about him as we do the mystery girl who he desperately craves, despite the fact that she’s supposed to be off-limits. There’s a price to be paid for wanting it all and for being duplicitous in order to have it, which means that despite Micah’s best intentions and his desire to right the wrong that have been done to those closest to him, situations exist and actions occur that can’t be rectified, leaving Micah, his girl, and his brothers in a state of flux headed towards a resolution that, ultimately, will not end exactly the way everyone wants it to…
This Elite Seven series has placed readers in the lion’s den of deadly sins, illustrating how each young man epitomizes the moniker they were given as well as the fact that while one sin may represent them more accurately than the others, it’s beyond clear that there’s a part, be it big or small, of each character that personifies all seven of the deadly sins…it just depends on the situation they’re in and what’s at stake for themselves and those they love.
It’s been a dark, dangerous, and jacked up journey through the seven stories that embody the deadly sins; it’s been interesting to witness the storyline and the characters that each writer creates to demonstrate their chosen deadly sin – all understanding that, in the end, a conclusion would need to bring all the stories’ conflicts together in a way that would allow the characters and their readers closure, no matter the outcome.
4 Poison Apples
What a fantabulous conclusion to the series! I could not have asked for a better ending. K. Webster and Ker Dukey have knocked it out of the park!
The story was dark and dangerous, and I absolutely loved getting to know more about the mysterious Micah.
I was not expecting what I got from these authors, and as per usual they gave me what I wanted without me ever knowing. It was spectacular.
This book was better than I ever expected it to be, and I absolutely adored it. Bravo!
Micah and the other Elite members are getting tired of following their rules. They have a plan but will it work? Sabella was hurt terribly and left for dead. Is she really dead? Will person who hurt her get punishment that he deserves? What will the guys do about Elite?
