The Inferno has Evolved… Lana Harvey is a reaper, and a lousy one at that. She resides in Limbo City, the modern capital of the collective afterlives, where she likes to stick it to the man (the legendary Grim Reaper himself) by harvesting the bare minimum of souls required of her. She’d much rather be hanging out with Gabriel, her favorite archangel, at Purgatory Lounge. But when a shocking … promotion falls in her lap, Lana learns something that could unravel the very fabric of Eternity. If the job isn’t completed, there could be some real hell to pay.

Too many weird characters that had nothing to do with the story plot.
Boring
Just could not finish, read approximately 2 1/2 chapters found myself losing interest.
Very enjoyable. Makes me want to read more of the series.
Areas of this did not flow. No real attachment to the character
I got this book free and had it for quite a while. I had just finished another book and decided to give this one a try. I finished it the first day and now I’m on book five. Really loving this series and highly recommend it.
This was a fun airplane read. Unbeknownst to me, first of a series. My reading list has now gotten longer. The setting is reminiscent of the video game Grim Fandango. I enjoyed the take on the afterlife.
I don’t know how I missed reviewing this when I read it! My only excuse is that I was so drawn into the story that I bought the rest of the books in the series and have been buried in reading. Angela Requet has created a wholly original world in her “Reaper” series. It’s set in the afterlife, with depictions of the various “heavens” and …
This is a fun quick entertaining read with original thinking.
I’m definitely a fan of the series. It was great to look at the world from this angle and ii appreciate the fact that they incorporated all religions into a harmony that we need to see in the real world.
Great read!
I love this series! I recently purchased books 5 through 8, and since it had been a while since I last read it I thought I should start the series over. It was just as much fun reading it the second time as it was the first. The world building is some of the best I’ve read. The character development is amazing. The romance doesn’t take up too much …
this is a great teen book and it also has some puny jokes in the book.
Silly and fun!! Not a bucket list book, but definitely a change of pace book!
