The Inferno has Evolved… Lana Harvey is a reaper, and a lousy one at that. She resides in Limbo City, the modern capital of the collective afterlives, where she likes to stick it to the man (the legendary Grim Reaper himself) by harvesting the bare minimum of souls required of her. She’d much rather be hanging out with Gabriel, her favorite archangel, at Purgatory Lounge. But when a shocking … promotion falls in her lap, Lana learns something that could unravel the very fabric of Eternity. If the job isn’t completed, there could be some real hell to pay.

I loved this book the first, second, and third time I read it! I’ve recommended it to multiple people, all of which loved it as much as I did. Lana Harvey is a witty, entertaining and I personally think a well rounded character with more personal growth to do. I can’t wait to finally move onto the rest of the series! This made an awesome book club …
It is a wonderful book and it is extremely hard to put down.
Great series! Original concept, fun characters… couldn’t put them down.
I was caught up in this world and loved the characters from different myths and cultures. Fun reading and I’m looking forward to reading others in the series.
I especially loved the quotes between the chapters how it related, but the plot was a small bit confuseing and kinda fast to keep up with. although its a good plot

I loved this series.
This book hasn’t left my mind from the very first time it had caught my eye (a few years ago) to the last time that I had re-read it (a few weeks ago). More than anything else, the way that the world in the story was crafted was so interesting and a fascinating concept. Every time I read the book, it almost feels as if I can vividly see everything …
I thoroughly enjoyed the characters. I couldn’t put it down. Lana is a wonderful character and I had a hard time waiting to read about another one of her assignments.
I was hooked from the first book. This is definately a series I will read again.
