Logan’s an epic a**hole and he knows it.But he’s got responsibilities, never mind that until a few weeks ago, he’d had no clue they were his to bear. But it doesn’t matter because now he knows, and an entire kingdom awaits his return. And his sister needs him.And Kai also needs him.Logan must fight this inner battle, between his obligations to his people and his duty to the woman he loves.A … the woman he loves.
A pathetic goodbye.
Logan leaves Kai behind, in a way that he cannot deny is cowardly. But his relationship with Kai wasn’t over and his note was not a final farewell. Still, the panther was going to be pissed.
You can’t get rid of Kai so easily.
Logan finds it’s not that easy to leave the persistently stubborn panther walker. His immersion into his duties and his obligations is disturbed by Kai’s arrival in Drakys, but she comes bearing terrible news of his closest friend.
The djinn needs saving.
Saleem is in dire need of his help, a matter that is literally life or death.
And Logan must again make a choice, between those he cares for in the EarthWorld, and those who need him in his home realm.
The wrong decision could cost him.
The island between his two obligations is a narrow and precarious place, and all eyes are on him. The wrong decision could cost him in ways he knows he’d never recover from.

For fans of this series, T.G. Ayer’s Grave Debt: A SkinWalker Novel #7: A DarkWorld Series (DarkWorld: SkinWalker) is a wonderful return to the fantastic world and characters created by the author with all its adventure, thrills and twists. Kai and Logan are facing different but fairly overwhelming odds. Perfectly set up and then perfect pleasure in seeing how they are assessed. This superbly written tale is a total blast for all series addicts. For newcomers, well this book can actually be read as a standalone but please take my advice that you’ll ultimately be much happier working from book 1 forward. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
I enjoyed more of Logan! Hoping to see move of his POV throughout the series.
It was a adventure to get back into this series again with Logan doing the taking. He will be faced with some big issues in this one. Kai will have our sympathy but we will follow closely to see what path this really goes on this one. But also a friend will be trying to pull on the emotionally strings that will have us on edge also. So many choices with big consequences. The way the author weaves this one is fascinating also. At times though I did hope for a bit more but it did not transpire. I might be a bit greedy though. Keeps you from beginning to end though for sure.
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Not much, but I can add to the rave reviews. This is such an amazing world to get lost in. The characters, world development, and storytelling are amazing. It is easy to get swept away and not want to put the book down. The snarky humor has a wonderful way of balancing out the exciting action without overpowering it, so it walks a fine line between keeping your heart racing and making you laugh. This is definitely a series that I know I’ll read over and over again, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.
Remarkably crafted story that continues the saga of Logan and Kai, Mel and Salem as they struggle to know themselves, claim their rightful place in the World and project their understated passions. The rescue attempt of Salem is complicated by roadblocks, betrayals, misplaced trust and loyalties. This is not a story to pick up midstream. One needs to have read the previous six to understand, but that read is so worth it. Each word is hand picked to provide the deepest meaning and the greatest nuance of emotion. The author is a masterful writer and it is a joy to tear every chapter. Highly recommended.
To enjoy this book, you really should read the previous books. Sure it could be read as a stand alone- but you just don’t eat one piece of chocolate….do you? lol
The gang are recovering from the latest dramas, when Logan returns to his kingdom claim his throne. This leaves Kai rattled, and when her mother drops long held family secrets on her, Kai’s world spins. Adding to the drama is the fact that there is something not quite right with her after her torture, and it’s not only Ivy who has secrets!
When a rescue attempt goes horribly wrong, the team do everything they can to scramble together a new plan. One way to upset a Djinn Queen? Rescue her when she doesn’t want rescuing! Cannot wait to find out whats in store for Kai and her team.
Great book. Logan has just come out of his coma. Kai is in the hospital after her and her mother get saved. Logan has to go home and take his rightful place as Dragon General along side his sister the Queen. Mel calls and they need to save Saleem. When Kai comes to get him to help will he do it? He is torn between saving his best friend or saving his world. What will he do? With everyone together can they save Saleem with or without Logan? What about the love between Kai and Logan? I received a free copy for my honest review.
Good book, it has a good storyline. Being the seventh book in the series you would think that the story got old, but each new book is more entertaining than the previous, the characters seem to evolve as the books continue. I can’t wait for the next book. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Good book. It fills in some of the events for Kai and Logan which had previously been simple questions. Opened up a bunch of other questions as well. Still, T.G. Ayer is a fabulous storyteller.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. I am leaving my honest review.
This was a great look into Logan and also into Kailin. Lots us going on for both of them and on top of that they have to save a Djinn Prince and potentially the entire Djinn realm.
I wish there would have been more at the end but I’m sure I’ll get more in the next SoulTracker or SkinWalker books to find out more!
T.G. Ayer skillfully crafts her worlds and characters and in this series you also get to know characters from another great series! It is great to read the same story from more than one point of view.
