I’ve read a few other novellas in this series and although they are all good, this one was the best. Enjoyable with fun characters that you can relate to, a well-told story that makes you want to read this in one sitting. The dialogue between the characters is believable and lets you relate to their personalities. Completely entertaining, action-packed, and humor expertly infused into the short but wonderful read. You won’t be sorry. I received a complimentary copy of this book and this opinion is my own.
A great summer read that can be read in a day or two. It’s light and airy with a few twists here and there for the fun loving characters to maneuver through.
I’ve read several books written by CB Samet; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I have read all of the books in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them and this one is no exception At heart all of these books are romantic suspense stories but there is always a paranormal twist that makes them a great fun read.
Gracelynn has been granted three wishes by a genie she has used two and believe me she isn’t getting what she expected from this adventure Now Constance the genie/ghost is determined to make this last wish be everything that Garcelynn could hope for and once again it doesn’t go as planned . Deep in the Colombian jungle Constance is hoping to give Gracelynn the adventure of a lifetime what actually happens is that she finds a man thrown down a pit and held captive by Colombian Guerillas. She helps Wade a photographer to escape and from there things become chaotic to the point that Wade has to wonder who is rescuing who Can they survive the jungle and will they get a HEA You need to read to see
A short well written story of a Genie Constance who is granting Gracelynn Kowalski three wishes and for the last one they go to the Colombian jungle where they meet Wade Rawlings. Who is a captive of guerrillas. From there the story takes. all kinds of twists, and turns. I found myself laughing in some parts. This is a short feel-good story. The twist on the genie and granting wishes is fun and I loved the characters so much I was sad when the story ended.

Combine a ghost who wants to be a genie- and has spent centuries playing at it, add a grieving widow who loves adventure and is more than a little reckless and self destructive, stir well together with a hot photographer who likes to photograph places where there is strife or an eco problem in order to bring attention to the issue – great chaos, adventure and a fun friendship and funnier romance might follow
Strap in for a bumpy ride

Gracelynn’s Genie #9 – I love this story! I have read three others of this series, but this is my favorite, so far. All three characters are fun to be with and Constance is my favorite. Her sense of humor and caring heart just endear her to the reader. This is a quickly read but entertaining, interesting novella. The storylines, the characters and the dialogues are just easy to get lost in and too soon the story ends. Finishing the story leaves the reader in a feel good, happy state. I found this book on Booksprout. 5*
Romancing the Spirit Series:
Sadie’s Spirit #1 – If you loved that movie with Reese and Mark, you will enjoy this story. A spirit set with a sense of humor and a regret for throwing away the love of her life because she thought he was tetched in the head. Well, after what happened to her, she learned a few things.
Good storylines and good characters made this quickly read book hard to put down. While a murder occurred, the story has a lot of humor and hope. The author has talent for storytelling. 4*
Autumn’s Angel #6 – This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed it. Plenty of humor that fits well with the storylines. Good characters and dialog that keeps the reader interested. I like Joy and the way she was done. Devlin is also well done. A quickly read and entertaining read. 4*
Allison’s Alibi #8 – This is a fun series to read. Yes, there murders and suspicions and investigations but there’s humor and romance. Cash is great in his role and Alison’s father is perfect in his role. The storylines are interesting and I did not put the book down until the last page. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Romancing the Spirit Series end.
I thought Gracelynn and Wade’s story was a hoot. It had action, adventure, and a “genie”. Plus guerilla’s that they all had to escape to survive. The story was a bit different in a good way and widely entertaining and easy to get sucked into to see how it would end. Loved the mix of romance and paranormal.
I volunteered to read an advanced readers copy of Gracelynn’s Genie . I really enjoyed reading this unique story . It’s well written and very entertaining . The characters are interesting and unique .
Gracelynns found an ancient genie in an antique shop of course Constance is really a ghost that’s been pretending to be a genie and granting wishes since forever . Grace has one final wish . Constance sends her to rescue a kidnapped photographer Wade in the Colombian jugle . The rescue somewhat faulters .Wade has to assist in escaping the jungle and the country alive . This is a fast paced ,delightfully entertaining tale . I highly recommend reading .
Love these characters…
Gracelynn is bada$$, and her coping mechanism is defying death. Or so it seems. Which means this book has action galore, but the ghost Constance adds a whole new dimension to the plot line. Wade has a good bit hutzpah himself. I like that they’re both gung-ho no matter the obstacles. No wimps here. This tale is funny, thoughtful, and goes a mile a minute and I had a blast reading it. Bet you will too.
