Goody Two-Shoes is a sweet, steamy novella. It is the third in the Juniper Creek series but can be read as a standalone. It features a strong, curvy heroine and the man who wins her heart.CharlotteI’ve always been a good girl. I stayed out of trouble, was the salutatorian of my class, and was even accepted into my father’s alma mater. But it was never enough to get my parents’ attention. In fact, … get my parents’ attention.
In fact, when they leave for the summer after my graduation, my best option is to stay with an old family friend and his surprisingly attractive son.
Before embarking on the life they have planned for me, I might as well have fun.
Tank Roberts is sexy, experienced, and sees something in me that no one else has.
When it comes down to it, do I keep trying to fulfill my parents’ expectations or do I go after the life I really want?
Tank
I didn’t always dream of being a small business owner, but I’m content with my life.
At least, until I lay eyes on Charlotte Lowry.
Juniper Creek isn’t big enough for the both of us.
She’s young, curvy, temptation incarnate, and living in my house.
Charlotte has every opportunity, and I’m going to make sure she doesn’t waste them.
Even though I don’t want to ruin her future, if I have anything to say about it, she’s going to be a part of mine.

Book 3 of the Juniper Creek Series centers on Charlotte. A young girl who just wants to be loved and acknowledged by her father. When she is sent to Juniper Creek by her vacationing parents for a few weeks she stays with Tank, the son of a family friend. It is through him that she meets other people, comes out of her shell, and finds that family and acceptance don’t always come from blood relatives. Tank falls in love with her and helps her see that the only one she needs to please is herself. A great story.
Charlotte’s being displaced once again by her parents. Ever since her dad’s law practice really took off after the start of middle school. She became nothing but an after thought. Now the house is being remodeled so rather than take her on vacation with them they ship her off to her dad’s military buddy. One she hadn’t seen since that last family vacation to Lonnie’s home in Juniper Creek.
Well, a lot had changed since they last saw Lonnie. So, when she arrives on tbus no one is there to greet her. When Lonnie gets there he arrives as the cab driver. Imagine her surprise when he says he is still on the clock and will be dropping her at the bar. Charlotte is a curvy girl, eighteen, long blonde hair, blue eyes, and no one to reenforce her self esteem.
Lonnie tells her to just walk into the bowling alley bar and ask for Tank which is Lonnie’s son. When they finally meet he can’t believe it’s that little girl from their past. ‘Little Lottie’ she hates it. He thinks she’s hot as hell, but she’s ten years younger. He loves every one of her curls.
Tank ends up with her for the majority of the two weeks because Lonnie is on a bender. Tank is hot tall big man, tattooed, blonde man bun, and crystal blue eyes. As much as, he wants her she wants him.
Very sweet book, enjoyable characters, love how Charlotte made her own decisions for her future but for once the person who said they love her asked questions about her wants, gave her tools and support, and a lot of love.
A find on kindle unlimited.
Charlotte’s on her way to college so she can follow in her dad’s footsteps because she’s expected to. Good girl that she is, she does as she’s told but part of her wants to experience something fun, something unexpected, before she does all that. Going to Juniper Creek to stay with her dad’s best friend? Well… It’s a start.
Tank’s home is Juniper Creek. He runs a business and keeps to himself. The beautiful woman his dad drops off takes his breath away and occupies all of his thoughts. But she’s going places and as much as he wants to act on his growing feelings for her, he doesn’t want to rob her of her chance to be something amazing.
The familiarity of being together and their day-to-day routine while she’s visiting grants them time to become reacquainted. When an assumption turns into an unimpressive decision, emotions are drawn to the surface and it’s time for the truth to break free. That truth also includes realizing Charlotte knows what’s best for herself.
And that’s Tank.
A really beautiful story of 1) knowing you’re more than enough for someone despite your past, and 2) standing up for yourself, your wants, your dreams is okay. Tank and Charlotte’s story is short but incredibly heartwarming. It’s a perfect addition to this series. Juniper Creek’s been amazing. I don’t know if this is the last book; I hope not.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters.
I received a copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
OMG, this is my favorite of this series! There’s something special about Juniper Creek. It’s one of those fictional towns you’d love to live in! And this story is just sweeter than sweet. Tank is this large, tattooed, self proclaimed bad boy turned good man. You cannot help but fall in love with this man who is so determined to do right by the young woman he’s falling for. Lottie is a decade younger than Tank, sweet, and the classic good girl longing for her father’s approval. But with college looming and her father pawning her off on a old friend (Tank’s Dad), Lottie is learning that it’s okay to please herself and not others. Watching Lottie bloom, watching her go after what SHE wants, is amazing. And Tank wants nothing more than to love her and give her whatever SHE wants. Tank is the best kind of alpha! My fingers are crossed that we’ll see more stories set in Juniper Creek!
Wow what a feel good story! Tank and Charlotte were so cute together but I guess if Tank were real he wouldn’t appreciate cute and his name in the same sentence. Mr gruff, protective, possessive, heart of gold man who is all alpha. I really liked him and he was not perfect.
Such great characterisation for both of them. This story had the right amount of drama and sexual tension, from warring with themselves and between themselves. The chemistry certainly was strong and Very well written. That all added to how much I enjoyed this book and I am pretty certain this is my favorite book from C L Cruz. Great writing!
This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even when I wanted to smack a couple of the characters upside the head. The characters were interesting and relatable. I did want to smack Charlotte’s parents upside the head.

These two were drawn to each other right off the bat, but Tank was positive that he needed to fight it so Charlotte could take advantage of the opportunities that she had. Charlotte was way more easy-going than I think I would have been with regards to her parents. I liked how Charlotte was with Tank and how Tank was with Charlotte. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.
Charlotte can’t believe she’s got to spend time in this small town with her dad’s old friend. That is until she sees Tank, his son, boy is he someone she could stare at. What happens shocks them both as they begin talking. Attraction and living your best life can lead to some life altering choices.
This is book 3 in juniper Creek series. The characters are well written and the storyline will keep you turning pages. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
This book is about Charlotte and Tank. Charlotte is about to start college and her family has sent her to stay with old family friends till she gets into her dorm. Tank owns his own bar and bowling alley and has end up with Charlotte whilst his dad goes MIA. It is a short read that is hot and steamy. I couldn’t put it down. It is a page turner that had me hooked from the start. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

A fun new adult romance read
Charlotte, recent high school graduate, goes to Juniper Creek and s thrown into the deep end when she meets Tank, bowling alley owner and the son of her father’s oldest friend. As the story progresses lines are blurred, decisions are made, and trying to chose the right option will cost something in return. Goody Two Shoes by C.L. Cruz is a fun new adult romance read that gives the reader a glimpse of the importance of the importance choices made and provided.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Poor Charlotte old enough to go to College but not old enough to say home without her parent in attendance. She goes to Juniper Creek to stay for a few days while her dorm gets ready. She’s suppose to stay with Lonnie but he ends up dropping her off at Tanks place and tells them he’ll be right back. Well, Lonnie goes MIA, plus he has Charlotte’s luggage. Charlotte falls big time for Tank and well as Tank falling for her. The chemistry between these two is fantastic. It’s a short story but the storyline flows. Highly recommend. I received this ARC for an honest review.

Tank and Charlotte will touch your heart and have you backing their corner for a happily ever after. Charlotte is sent to spend the summer with one of her fathers friends. What she doesn’t expect to find is Tank the son instead of her father’s friend. They are thrown together but a relationship sparks taking Tank and Charlotte in to new territory. Can he be the beginning she needs or will it start confrontation between her father and Tank? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review?
Goody Two-Shoes is the third installment of the Juniper Creek Series. It is a super sweet story of the older man, Tank, who fights his attraction for the younger curvy girl, Charlotte. Tank and Charlotte are thrown together by circumstances beyond their control forcing Tank to take Charlotte in for a couple weeks. Charlotte not knowing anyone else in town and having nowhere else to go stays with Tank and helps him daily at his place of business. This story is a one of following your own heart or path rather than fulfilling the expectations of others. It’s about believing in yourself and your abilities.
C.L. Cruz grabs your interest and makes you fall in love with this little sleepy town and it’s people. It’s definitely a place I’d love to know.
If you like short steamy HEA reads especially if you like Liz Fox or Phoebe Sweet, then you will love this book!
OMG OMG
I LOVED this book.
You never know what is out there waiting for you until you step out on faith.

Best in the series. Charlotte is spending two weeks with her father’s old war buddy before college starts but instead she gets left with is sexy son Tank. Tank knows Charlotte is too good and ten years too you g for him but can’t help but find himself falls my for her. This book is sweet, sexy and totally feel good. I freely reviewed this book.
Charlotte has always been the one to complete expectations and given opportunities from her dad. Not that that showed up for her accomplishments but she believes they’re going to his alma mater is the last chance that she would get to impress him or have him love her? Why he’s out he wanted to be supervised even though she’s 18. So he sent her to Jupiter creek where his old buddy Lonnie stays. Lonnie comes up and then drops her off at the pass lane bowling alley to his son Tank. He says he’ll pick her up by the end of the night. Well as she’s waiting for Lonnie to return, She is attracted to Tank his son. The owner of fast lanes. So these hours have evolved into something that she didn’t expect Or knew was an opportunity. Is she going to change her goals to fit what she wants a.k.a. Tank or is she going to continue to try to please her dad?
