All I need is for this woman to bend to my will. But she ain’t having it. My big chance is here, and I can see more zeroes at the end of my paycheck than ever before.I’m after a contract for storefront property in Texas, and there is one single mom shop owner that won’t sell. So they send in the big guns. Me. And yet, my silver tongue isn’t working. My luck has officially dried up. Or has it?I’m a … working. My luck has officially dried up.
Or has it?
I’m a player at heart, and this is one game I’m willing to go all out on to win.
This girl wants to play hardball?
I’m all in, but it seems that no amount of charm will seal the deal.
And crazily enough, this beautiful vixen has stolen my heart.
Time to return the favor.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

What I love about Mr. Parker’s books, is that they could happen in your back yard! I love to escape reality, but sometimes, it is just as much fun to read something truly believable. Senna has a shop that she won’t sell. Zach’s the big gun they’ve brought in to change her mind. She’s not having it, him or his “silver” tongue. Well, maybe his silver tongue… This was a great book, with wonderful writing that is Mr. Parker’s hallmark. I know when I sit down with one of his books, I’m not getting up for a while; a very long while!
This was a really sweet story. I really liked the idea of the independent business owner versus the corporate giant. I was a bit surprised by this book. It has a different feel than most of what I’ve come to expect from a Weston Parker title. There’s still the tight-knit family and friends and the quirky personalities, but it was a bit lower in the heat level and a lot lower in the angst department. Senna’s so strong and fierce. And while Zach’s a little self-absorbed, he’s also a genuinely good guy. And those quirky friends and family? They do an amazing job of nearly stealing the show. Now I want to read stories about the best friends.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
A charming enemies to lovers read
Senna, owner of a small clothing boutique, gets one look at Zach, corporate salesman, and tells him in no uncertain terms what he can do with himself. As the story progresses they both find that perceptions can be misleading, walls are slowly taken down, and betrayal from outside may have long standing consequences. Weston Parker has taken another step in the right direction with this enemies to lovers tale that has its roots steeped in reality. I honestly can’t put any of his books down and Good Luck Charm is no different.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
