☆A Top 100 Amazon Bestseller☆ They say one action doesn’t define you. I killed a man. Stabbed him in the neck and licked the blood off my lips after I did it. Still, one action doesn’t define you. I could have called anyone. My father, the Prez of The Fallen MC, our family lawyer, my best friend, Lila, or my brother, King.I didn’t. Instead, I called Lionel Danner, the police officer renowned for … the police officer renowned for taking down the Nightstalkers MC. The man who had been my father’s arch nemesis for decades. The man who hated everything I stood for. A man who had disappeared from my life without explanation three years ago.
I called him.
And maybe one action doesn’t define you, but killing a bad man and calling in the good changed my life and it sure as hell changed his.
The third book in the Fallen Men series. A standalone featuring Harleigh Rose and Officer Lionel Danner.

What could be better than a story about a badass biker chick and her straight laced cope gone badass? Yes you’re right nothing. Especially when said story is written by one and only Giana Darling cause her stories are some of the best kind I’ve read. She understands the dynamics involved in true BDSM better than anyone.
I really felt in love with the characters and loved their sweet moments together, the music, the loyalty. I also am very fond of side characters and their lives, all the small details and hidden clues here and there. We also got the most of everyone than we ever did but especially with Lion and Rosie, separated and together. We got here so many surprises and new characters that I see great potential of many amazing stories in the future.
Harleigh Rose and Danner are very complex characters. They of course have flaws but they are at the same time genuine, they are believable and I truly adore them. Before “Good gone bad” I had mixed feelings about her. She was sometimes for me a little like a MC brat but oh how I was wrong. In this story Giana made me truly love her. I started to feel really protective about her and I was really counting for her HEA. As for Danner, he was a character I wanted more and more from the first scene he appeared in. He is definitely my favorite kind of kinky, complicated, many- layered kind of hero.
“Good gone bad” is fast paced, action packed story that will give you exactly what would you expected from this author along with raw emotions and romance. And of course this story will make you cry. But if you know Giana’s books it shouldn’t be a surprise anymore.
Giana Darling’s books are always a great read but the Fallen Men series is definitely my favorite. Let’s face it who wouldn’t want a men like biker poet King, hot as all hell prez Zeus or newest addition dirty Dom Officer Danner in their lives, even if it would be for a short while. And the “Good Gone Bad” is perfect addition to the very addiction series and I totally recommend it to you.
FRIGGING. HELL. This was one of my Most Anticipated Reads this year and holy crap was it delivered!!!
Giana Darling has written another heart stoppingly amazing story. Her writing never ceases to amaze me as she puts you in the story from the first sentence.
This one had suspense, action, left me gasping and in shock most of the time. It was so great to see the Garro Family again, one family that will always be so close to my heart.
I loved finding out more about Harleigh Rose, Danner. It’s so intricate that I absolutely couldn’t put it down!!!
I cannot recommend this book enough!! You NEED it in your life!
I was a Darling virgin when I started this book but midway through I bought books 1 and 2 of the series.
Good Gone Bad is a crazy journey with the perfect amount of chaos, sexy, and delicious kink. It also has a hero that is oh so easy to fall for especially when he uses that low, extra bossy voice. It’s not just the good cop that this at your heart strings. No, the rebel Rise is as feisty and lovable as can be. It’s probably easier to love her since we got to witness her growing up but I have always love strong feisty heroines so it was easy for me to see the beauty in the thorns.
And what a beauty she is! Their relationship seems to poison them but it’s not all it seems. The distance, the inability to be is poisoning them slowly but surely. If they don’t get killed before that! You never can be too sure with Harleigh Rose.
Reviewed for Sweet Spot Sisterhood
Well… holy sheet!! I really don’t even know where to start here. I’ve read a bit over 500 books in 2018 and there have been a dozen books, give or take, that rocked me to the core… Good Gone Bad by Giana Darling is one of those dozen. This book really makes you think about your ethics and what’s right and what’s wrong. Does our system truly work? I really liked Danner. His back and forth with legal and illegal… he skips back and forth over each line but never staying on one side too long.
Harleigh Rose is every biker mans wet dream! She’s seriously strong and fierce and so confident in her skin. I seriously was captivated by here strong personality. I really was obsessed over this story. Darling doesn’t just create stories that make you think and question, she writes stories that come alive in my mind. She gives her words legs. Good Gone Bad was incredibly sexy and there was so much heat between Darren and Harleigh. They couldn’t have stayed apart if they wanted too! Buckle up! You are going for a ride!!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
5 ROARING LION STARS!!!!
Angsty, rough, raw and loyalty are the words that make this book a showstopper!!!
My heart nearly fell out my ass more times than I can count, in the last 20% of this book!
If you are into angsty books this is the one for you! I was a little bored in the beginning, not in a bad way, I just wanted more. Well let me tell you…I GOTS MORE!!!
Giana took the bull by the horns in this tale of love and loyalty and wrestled that bitch to the ground!!!
The description she uses in each and every sentence just blows me away.
I loved everything about this book and I so needed someone to hold my hand in the end!
The epilogue…..can we just talk about that epilogue!!!! OH MY GOD!!! It was AMAZING!!! The perfect ending!
I am a real fan of Giana and have devoured everything I’ve read from her and although things took me away and I couldn’t read this one as fast, I savored every delicious moment! I can’t wait to read more!!!!!

Plot
Step aside Daddy Zeus, Dirty Danner has taken over as my favorite of the Fallen Men. I like each one in there own way bit Lion is my guy!
Good Gone Bad follows Harleigh Rose, who has just got into a bad situation with her boyfriend. The one person she knew she could go to besides her family is Lionel Danner, a cop and the man who would do anything for her. Everything takes a sudden turn when Harleigh has to deal with the backlash of what happened with her boyfriend with the M.C. family they are associated with. They are nothing like her father M.C. and when she learns Danner is involved in taking them down, she decides to do the same. But as things get more dangerous and their relationship takes a new step, they must sacrifice what makes them happy to keep each other safe.
Harleigh Rose would be my bestie if she were real, she is a strong young women, someone who grew up in the outlaw world but her family and friends all have a good heart. She is in the medical field and smart, as much as she is sassy. She loves hard and good, would do anything for people she loves. Saying this it puts her in some tough situation with her family and the love of her life Danner aka Lion. I felt for her, I can imagine being stuck as she was in so many situation, she was brave in so many parts of this book.
Danner “Lion” is all alpha and all about doing the job in taking down the Berserkers M.C. They were not a club that cared about women, about life, about anything but themselves, especially their president. But Lion wasn’t expecting his Rose to get involved and help the police in taking them down. But with Harleigh now a claimed Oldlady with the VP who also has his secrets and his deep cover pretending to be a member now, he has a lot on his plate. His connection with Harleigh is intense, they have history and I loved reading about their past and how they grew into what they have now.
Overall this was my favorite out of the three stories, I loved catching up with the rest of the couples too. The story is intense, suspenseful, sexy and I was holding my breath at many points. Darling write these characters with so much thought and really pulls you in with her words. I so look forward to the next book, especially with the shock at the end.
In the corrupt, unlawful, and deviant world in which Harleigh Rose Garro and Lionel ‘Lion’ Danner live, good vs. bad and right vs. wrong are not mutually exclusive concepts, and regardless of how drastically opposite these terms appear to be, they’re not as black and white as they may seem; life isn’t that cut and dry, and there’s no clear way to separate oneself in a way that allows them to be completely pure or completely unclean, so it’s unfair to categorize HR as a sinner and Danner as a saint because these two characters straddle both sides of the law, creating tarnished crowns, tattered wings, and a torn moral compass. But if people were to truly be judged by the sum of their parts – both the good and the bad…the right and the wrong, Harleigh and Danner’s courage and conviction as well as their sense of honor, duty, and family would solidify exactly where they belong – next to each other.
I don’t think I can adequately convey just how much I LOVED Good Gone Bad or how in awe I am of the way that Giana Darling crafted their story. It’s beyond clear that Harleigh and Danner required their whole story to be told, sugarcoating nothing that happened and laying themselves bare when it came to their feelings for each other, the choices that they made, and the actions that they took that redefined everything about who they were, what they stood for, and what they meant to those around them.
And because of the candid insight readers receive, we are forced to understand just how brutally beautiful Harleigh and Danner’s love for one another and Harleigh’s love for her family is while also acknowledging the fact that sometimes bad things have to be done by and for good people in order to have a fighting chance at living the life they were meant to live with the people they were meant to have by their side.
There is no easy path to redemption nor is justice something that can be universally obtained…all anyone can hope is to have someone at their back who understands exactly what they’re made of and why, despite knowing better, certain choices are made and actions are taken – ones that they wouldn’t change regardless of the risk…regardless of the cost because what matters is the endgame and getting to that point is all about survival and there are no ground rules when it comes to keeping loved ones alive and well.
I absolutely adored Danner’s little rebel and Harleigh’s lion and despite the hell that they had to endure in order to get to a place where nothing mattered but how they felt for one another, in the end, all the recklessness…all the irrational acts and choices…all the hurt…all the grief…all the scars got them to a place where they were not just a bad girl and a good guy…not just a warrior princess and a badass cop…not just a Garro and a Danner, but they were EVERYTHING that each other desperately wanted and needed and, in my opinion, exactly what they deserved.
4.5 Poison Apples
“Lion” what a appropriate name for a man who loves strong, loves deep, and loves his Rosie. Good Gone Bad is book 3 in The Fallen Men series. This is a story of a love that fights to be conquered by Lionel Danner officer of the law and Harleigh Rose daughter of a MC gang. It’s a age-gap story that takes you into the angst, the forbidden and the sacrifice they make for each other. This story had me on emotional roller coaster. There was so much going on for them to discover their true feelings and what they meant to each other. Giana writing of their deep love and how it’s formed moved me in this book. Good Gone Bad adds so much to this series and there’s more to come. I look forward to the next book and what adventures Giana takes us with her beloved MC gang.
I am so loving this series and I have to say were are so looking forward to Harleigh Roses’s story as she had always been a favorite character that we were drawn to as she was a train wreck waiting to happen.
I loved this story from beginning to end.The story had you engrossed from the very first pages and kept you on edge the entire time. The story never had a dull moment and was filled with tons of drama,Surprises! and more than a few OMG! moments!
I have to say that the story surprise me at every turn ” Which We Hardily Appreciated!” I always new that Harleigh and Lion played a bit of the cat and mouse game together but, I never new how deeply connected they were to one another until this current story.
I loved getting to know more about Harleigh Rose as well as Lionel Danner aka Lion. I normally don’t like the flashing aspect in these ongoing stories but, in this story the author interrogated that past and present events in sync with all the drama going on in this current story at the perfect time and gave us insight into King and Harleigh connection to Lion and they bond they all forged together and how it all played a part in this ongoing current story.
Omg! This story was hotter than hot!The chemistry between these two was explosive. This couples sexual encounters are super hot, intense and full of surprises as they had me fanning myself more than a few times! lol
I always pick a favorite character and mine this time around I have to pick Lionel aka Lion Why? Omg ! because he surprised us at every turn.Officer Danner was far from the goody two shoes we thought him to be but was anything but ! lol
I have to say we never saw Lion coming.Lion’s character surprised me the most.I had been wondering if Lion had always been a bad boy under all the righteous armor and kept it hidden or if all his undercover work brought out the bad boy side that had been always been lurking there to make its appearance.”Still pondering.” lol
Harleigh Rose we loved he.We loved her spunk, strength, determination, found she had a sense of humor, was feisty and was a self sacrificing when it came to those she loved.
Overall I loved the story and could not put it down once I started reading it.The story kept you on edge the entire time as well as kept you guessing at what would happen next as the story had drama after drama happening all around Harleigh Rose and Lion and whether someone was going to undercover all those secrets they wanted to keep buried. The romance between these two was super hot and their sexual encounters even hotter which made the read even more scorching, intriguing and entertaining. Most of all the story was just an awesome read !This story and the stories before it all had an amazing cast of characters to us to love as well as hate. For me this one goes into the keeper pile to be read time and time again.
This author is definitely one of my favorite MC authors and favorite book series for 2018 we are so glad we found your books to read as they have brought us nothing but pure enjoyment.
Hoping this author continues to write more MC reads for us read as well as enjoy.
5 amazing stars from us
Of all the tropes in Romance, I’m a little ashamed to admit that MC Romance wasn’t my favorite. I’ve read some MC Biker books, and with a few exceptions I really didn’t like them. A lot had biker characters that seemed a little cartoonish and over-the-top, and not in a good way. That all changed after I read the first two books in a new series called The Fallen, featuring Canadian MC, and was blown away with the writing and characters. Good Gone Bad is the third book and it is phenomenal! Be warned: this story is violent and at times horrifying and graphically detailed. You’ll understand when you read the first bloody chapter; it will only get worse before it gets better. But if you’re a fan of Über Alphas and badass heroines, then you’re going to love this story! This is a Standalone but I really recommend you read them in order, trust me, you’ll thank me later.
“Looks like her name, beautiful as a rose. Mind those thorns though, yeah? I have a feelin’ they might getcha in the end.”
Harleigh Rose Garro is a princess, the daughter of Zeus Garro, the President of The Fallen MC. She’d been a fierce and wild child, but after three years of physical abuse at the hands of her boyfriend Cricket, AKA Taylor Marsden, she was a shell of herself. After an especially horrifying incident, Harleigh Rose kills him and only thinks of calling a man she hadn’t seen in three years, to turn herself in. She knows Lionel “Lion” Danner, he’d been in her life since she was six, and trusts him. Even though she hadn’t seen him in three years, after he suddenly disappeared from her life.
“I don’t know how I went wrong, how I chose a love so black it consumed me in its inky folds before I could think to break free.”
Lionel Danner’s father and grandfather had worked in law enforcement and Lionel became a police officer, too. The department had a task force that was working on dismantling the MCs, they dealt in drugs and gun trafficking, among other things. Danner’s father was the Police Chief and was as dirty and crooked as the thugs he arrested.
“He was rotten straight to the core, putrid to his marrow and greed-driven with
every beat of his selfish heart.”
Danner knew it was only a matter of time before his father coerced him into working for him, in his dirty business. So he jumped at the chance of working undercover, infiltrating The Berserkers, the MC Cricket belonged to. And The Fallen’s sworn enemies.
“Who would have ever guessed that a cop playing a biker to take down an MC would become seduced by the very lifestyle he was supposed to condemn?”
When Harleigh Rose finds out about the threats made against her family, and to The Fallen, she decides to work with the task force to bring down The Berserkers MC. Something Lion is not happy about.
“I’m a warrior princess, the kind that’ll cut off your balls and serve them for fuckin’ tea, you feel me? So next time you threaten me, why don’t you remember that?”
There’s so much back story and action going on in this story, I can’t get into everything, just know that this story moves at a breakneck pace and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat! Not everything is violent; the romance between HR and Lion is a thing of beauty! And the epilogue had me in near tears, I was so overjoyed!
“Nothing to forgive, nothing to forget. I love you, rebel Rose. You hurt me to save me. You broke your own heart a million fucking times to keep me alive. And I love you so fucking much for that.”
Books involving bikers are either a hit or a miss for me most of the time, and while I did enjoy Giana’s first two books in this series, this book was in my opinion, the best of them all. I have been waiting to get inside Officer Danner’s head, to find out why he does the things he does for the longest time, and Giana did not disappoint me at all. While Danner did surprise me, it was Rosie who I understood alot better after reading this story.
The story begins with Rosie in a tight situation. She needs help, and she can only call one person. Lionel. The man that she’s crushed on since she was little, and the man she’s lusted ever since she can lust after a man. Danner has been away for a long time, but when Rosie calls him, he comes.
And thus begins the rollercoaster of emotions.
The relationship between the two is volatile, passionate, and often leads to clashes. They are both headstrong to a fault, and any kind of relationship between them is not going to be peaceful at all.
When Rosie does not have anyone to turn to, its Danner who is there. He’s stubborn and refuses to leave her in her quest to bring justice. The scene where Zeus practically disowns her (OH COME ON ZEUS! You had to realize your daughter wouldn’t fuck you over) was heartbreaking. I cried.
Rosie is a badass chick with a heart of gold, and Lionel is the man who holds the keys to her heart. Somehow these two made so much sense together. Where Rosie was naive in certain aspects, she also showed incredible maturity when needed. I felt like Lionel wasn’t giving her enough credit in certain situations.
And Lionel, he was everything. Sigh. High handed, and bossy, and exactly what Rosie needed.
I loved this story. I cannot wait to read the next book (because that fucking ending).
5 stars!
I’m a big fan of Giana Darling and her writing. If you love MC romances you will undoubtedly love The Fallen and their stories. But for me, Harleigh Rose and Danner just didn’t grab me. There was just an unrelenting sense of deja vu. Another dirty talking, star crossed biker, age gap romance. I just felt we have visited this town before. The biggest issue for me was the flashbacks. The age gap – and more importantly, the maturity gap made me uneasy and really made it hard for me to connect with the main characters as a couple.
Your mileage may definitely vary.
Cried a river with WTTDS. Bled my heart dry with GGB.
The author flayed me apart, ripped and clawed my heart wide open, and stamped her inked words there through my soul. And it was the best experience I’ve ever had from a reading a book.
If you think you know what heartache is, think again. You probably haven’t read this book yet.
A great version of a class warfare romance, the author clearly has a vision about a battle between the good and the evil amongst people living in a corrupted, greedy society. One where the lines between right and wrong blurs.
GGB offers a great conflict of interests, power struggles, pure unadulterated Iust, secrets, deceptions and betrayals in so many ways and forms and most especially, the beauty of absolution.
This story isn’t typically just about two people falling in love in times of trouble and war. The characters were way more connected to each other (like the previous others), it has history that was deep and real and so beautiful you will fall in love along with them.
The whole series gets better and better and with the way the story ends, you’d badger the author for the next book. Obviously, this book is so worth the long wait.
Harleigh Rose (HR) is an MC Princess. Her father is the Prez of the Fallen MC. Her brother is a member. She’s been raised in the life. She’s even in a relationship with a brother in a rival MC, Cricket. Unfortunately for her, that relationship has been a toxic, abusive one. One that’s reached its peak when she defends herself against him for the last time. So when the chips are down and she needs help, whom does she call? Her father, the Prez? Her brother? Nope. She calls Lion (Lionel) Danner, a cop. Because Lion has always watched out for her, always taken care of her, ALWAYS. Even though she hasn’t seen him in three years, she knows in her black heart, that he’ll come to her rescue. And he does. And sets off a chain of things that will end up with one or both of them broken down by their love.
Good Gone Bad is a great take on the MC genre. Although not my favorite, by any means, of the few MC romances I’ve read, it’s well-written, really steamy, and all the characters, even the unlikable ones, are well-drawn and multi-layered. Lion is most definitely my favorite part of this story. He’s a mass of complications – a moral man, a cop, who can relate to, even love, outlaws and criminals. He loves HR even though she’s most definitely not a good girl, even though it goes against his moral compass to be with such a woman. A woman he somehow thinks is a tender soul. I personally have my doubts about HR’s character, but I love that Lion doesn’t. He loves true and straight and never doubts. That’s textbook bbf material right there! Although I haven’t read any of the other stories in this series, and I doubt I will read any of the coming ones, I really ended up liking this one. Lion is the kind of character that will stick with me.
So why 4 and not 5 stars? Well, like I mentioned earlier, I have my doubts about HR’s character. I’m not even sure I like her or not. I am not sure she’s worthy of Lion. I don’t like the action she took near the end, and I know that she could have handled things differently. Also, my copy had quite a few misspellings and typos. Hopefully they’ll be fixed before publication, but I can only rate based on my copy, and mine was bad enough to take me out of the story more than once while I tried to figure out what word should have been there instead of the one actually in my copy. But, aside from those two reasons, like I said, I really liked the story itself, so 4 stars is more than fair.
4.5 Stars
Good Gone Bad by Giana Darling is book Three in The Fallen Men series. This is the story of Lionel Danner and Harleigh Rose ‘HR’. HR is the sister to King Kyle Garro who was the main character in ‘Lessons in Corruption’ book 1 and the daughter of Zeus Garro the main character in ‘Welcome to the Dark Side’ book 2. I have read the previous books (and Loved Them!) but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Danner was there for King and HR when their father went to jail. But about three years ago he left their lives. Now in the present day, HR is in need of help but not wanting to call her family who would cover things up but instead wanted to call Danner who she felt would do the honest thing. HR learns he has been undercover to take down another MC Group that her ex boyfriend was in. HR goes forward to help bring down that same group.
I am a huge fan of Ms. Darling’s writing so I try to grab her books up. This one I read in one sitting of course causing a book hangover but I couldn’t stop reading it even when I tried. I did lower some starts to from 5 to 4.5 just because of a personal preference with book hero/boyfriend…not because of anything else.
This is the 3rd book in the Fallen Men Series and I loved every word. Somehow I missed book 2 (mistake I am now rectifying) but this is my favourite I have read so far.
Harleigh is the MC Princess, Zeus’s daughter and is quite wild, feisty and strong. When something bad happens to her, she turns to someone who has had her back since she was 6 years old, Officer Lionel Danner. The connection between these two is so fierce.
I don’t want to give too much of the plot away as its griping and its something you need to experience for yourself. The characters are captivating, the plot keeps you engrossed and the twists, turns and events are go from dark, intense and heartbreaking to steamy, passionate and filled with love and loyalty.
I can’t wait to see what this brilliant author brings us next in this amazing series.
One of my most anticipated reads of this year and I am still in a book hangover. I really have no idea how to get across how much I loved this book. I was hooked from the very beginning, I was counting on hot and sexy chemistry between Harleigh Rose and Danner, which there was a lot of, but we get so much more. Being the daughter of Zeus, you know going in that Rosie is a bada$$ biker princess, but the vulnerability and hidden pain she carries and her will to do whatever she needs to to protect makes her a force to be reckoned with. My favorite type of hero has always been the protective alpha and it is a bonus if they are in law enforcement. Well Danner is all that and add on to that he is a dominant, possessive and a dirty talker, he’s almost too perfect and I loved him so much. What I love more than anything was how he had been protecting both Rosie and her brother since they were kids. His protective instinct towards Rosie was strong for years, but as she grew older, his possessiveness and his love for her also grew. The journey to their happily ever after was dark and so complex, but the love they both have for each other was epic.
There were so many twists and turns and some heart-breaking moments, but in the end, it was all worth it. And that epilogue, talk about one of the best I’ve read in awhile and it made up for one of the losses we see. Definitely one of my favorites from 2018.
The Princess of the Fallen Lords MC finally gets to tell her story, and Boy oh Boy what a story she has to tell. Harleigh has loved her Lion since she was a small child. He was always her protector when she had no one else to lean on. Whenever she needed him, he was there. But they came at things from the opposing sides. She was the spoiled MC Princess and he was law abiding and a cop’s son . Knowing they were getting too close, Danner does the only thing he knows to do, he leaves town without a word. At that point the sweet Harleigh Rose grew up wild and always taking crazy chances while Danner ended up an undercover cop. When Harleigh kills a man who abused her and tried to rape her, a member of the Berserker MC, she calls the one man that was always there for her as a kid, Danner. Their reunion after three years sparks more that just a wildfire between Harleigh and Danner.
The book takes you on a very suspenseful, adventurous ride. The author has written an amazing storyline that will draw in you and hold you tight from the first to the very end. The twists and turns will have your brows rising and the intimate encounters will have your toes curling. Good Gone Bad is very well written and is an amazing addition to the series. 2 Thumbs up and 5 stars for a book/series that I Highly Recommend grabbing up ASAP. If you like MC books, trust me you won’t regret reading about the Fallen Lords MC.
***5 ‘Dirty Danner & Rebel Rose’ Stars***
Well, Damn!
That was one hell of a ride
I knew it would be. I mean we are talking about Biker Princess Harleigh Rose Garro here…but lemme tell you…the twists, the turns, the smexy and the crazy that make up the world of The Fallen Men definitely got kicked up quite a few notches here and even after finishing the book I NEED more…OMG So much more!
Harleigh Rose is kind of awesome. She’s reckless, a little self destructive at times and she definitely tends to react before thinking things through, but she has huge, if not a little bit bruised, heart and a set of lady balls on her that makes her a force to be reckoned with. Danner is an enigma. And Alpha AF one, but one nonetheless. He has honor branded on his soul and the heart to go with it, but also has a dark side mixed in into a smexy as hell package that morphes him into a drug you won’t want to quite.
Rosie and Lion’s journey to their HEA is all kinds of crazy, but it’s one that will make you believe in fate, epic love stories and that soulmates exist. From their first collision, they had a connection and as they continue to collide throughout the years that connection not only grows stronger but morphs into something that neither can fight and once they decide to go all in…well, all bets are off. The smexy between them is nuclear, OMG, hello HAWT! But what got me, and had me rooting for them, was the fact that they saw each other for exactly who they were and just accepted the good, the bad and the dark. There are quite a few obstacles these two have to deal with in this one, okay, that’s an understatement, but they go at them with guns blazing and I loved where they find themselves in the end.
This one had ALL the feels, even the sniffly, teary eyed variety, but they were all there. The twists and turns were very well thought out and I’d love to say more about them, but that would spoil the fun for you, so I won’t, but there were a few things even I didn’t see coming. I loved getting to spend some time with Cress, King, LouLou and Daddy Zeus *wipes away the drool while doing the happy sigh thing* (Yes, I still love him best) But outside of the family, Nova has peaked my interest and I kinda, sorta fell in lust/love with Wrath…and after the way things ended I NEED the next book ASAP!
Note: While Good Gone Bad can be read as a standalone, I do recommend that you start at the beginning of the series just to get a good feel for the majority of the characters you’ll meet in the book and how they are tied together.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said for this book by other rave reviews? Addictive, intoxicating, binge worthy? Yes to all of these. Darling is an incredible story teller, and I was happily lost in this book from page one.
Good Gone Bad perfectly walks the line of light and dark with complex characters and a gripping plot. I didn’t know if it was possible to get better than Welcome to the Dark side, but then we are given Harleigh Rose, with her strength and sass absolute devotion to the people she loves. She was flawed and a bit rough around the edges but that’s what made her completely endearing.
Danner was alpha perfection. There is a famous quote that goes something like “love her, but leave her wild”. I think this perfectly sums up his and Harleigh’s love. They both know when to challenge one another. I love it when authors give an alpha a female counterpart that compliment them In the best possible way. That’s exactly what you have with these two.
If Darling isn’t on your radar, she needs to be. This entire series has been insanely good and it just keeps getting better. To say I’m looking forward to the next installment in this series would be an understatement. Bravo.
