☆A Top 100 Amazon Bestseller☆ They say one action doesn’t define you. I killed a man. Stabbed him in the neck and licked the blood off my lips after I did it. Still, one action doesn’t define you. I could have called anyone. My father, the Prez of The Fallen MC, our family lawyer, my best friend, Lila, or my brother, King.I didn’t. Instead, I called Lionel Danner, the police officer renowned for … the police officer renowned for taking down the Nightstalkers MC. The man who had been my father’s arch nemesis for decades. The man who hated everything I stood for. A man who had disappeared from my life without explanation three years ago.
I called him.
And maybe one action doesn’t define you, but killing a bad man and calling in the good changed my life and it sure as hell changed his.
The third book in the Fallen Men series. A standalone featuring Harleigh Rose and Officer Lionel Danner.

Good Gone Bad:
Giana Darling (The Fallen Men #3)
“I’d break my own heart a million times over if it meant keeping you alive.”
Holy shit. This book is everything. I have a favorite Giana Darling hero and that is Lionel. Danner.
I knew the second HR made that phone call–the way he picked up, the way he called her Rosie, the steadfast loyalty he has to her–that I would love this man with my whole heart and I was absolutely right. Lionel is the definition of sinfully good. He’s understated, quiet, and revered. A perfect cocktail of good and bad. He’s ferocious as a lion both in the way he protects and the way he loves. Needless to say, I adored his character.
HR is my favorite kind of heroine. She is so fiery and full of sass BUT with a heart of gold. I think Lionel says it best–that she protects her heart with thorns. I absolutely loved her. She knows her worth and she would do anything for her family. She might be the princess of the Fallen but, she is no demure little girl. I liked the way she stands up for herself. Reading more about her backstory was so heartbreaking and honestly, it astounds me the way she is able to love like she does despite everything she went through. But everything she does, she does well–including love.
Their chemistry is everything. I was rooting for them from the beginning and I am so happy with how their story unfolded. The tender moments where Lion tells Rosie how much he means to her all the way to the steamy scenes (yes please) made this book so hard to put down.
Giana Darling is such a talented writer–even with rough stories like this one, the words flow so beautifully together to give rise to a fantastic story worth delving into. She has a talent for creating those addicting characters–the ones you’re left thinking about for a long time after.
Lion and Rosie have my whole heart.

Loved this book. 6/5 not as good as book two but better than book one. Also I cannot stand that the author dropped a cliffhanger ending and then wrote the epilogue like nothing happened. I’m still trying to catch my breath. Also book 4 is about king and Cress again and I like them but I feel like now would be a great time to go back to Zeus not king.
So in Book 1 we got the son and older brother King. In Book 2 we got the father and MC president Zeus. This is Book 3 the daughter and younger sister Harleigh Rose. Giana Darling strikes again! I honestly had no idea where this book was headed and the story was awesome. I like a female character that is strong and has backbone. HR had to show hers especially when Zeus told her she was out of the family. Once I read that Officer Lionel Danner was undercover I had a feeling that he would be leaving the force. This one was little more difficult for me to read as HR stayed and took the beatings that Cricket dished out until one day she was finally done. I like that she found her backbone and had a major hand in taking down the Berserkers MC.
Harleigh Rose is no simple woman she is a born FALLEN woman; therefore, it’s not surprise how strong, in charge, determined, and complicated she would be. But seeing the vulnerability hidden underneath her tough exterior that only her close family and a certain good cop gone bad was truly beautiful. HR being the thorny rose that she is could not have found a better partner in Lionel! Definitely check out their story and see for yourselves.
“Got you tattooed over my heart, rebel girl. Don’t know if it gets more possessive than that.”
Ahhhhh this book just wrecked me!! I am not sure if I was prepared for all the goodness that came with Officer Danner and his rebel rose. But I was feeling every single moment of this book. Lion – the bad boy cop with the heart of gold and HR- the MC princess with dark edges just captivated me from the very first page and never let go of my heart. The flashbacks of these two growing up together really gave us insight into the foundation of their relationship and my heart broke for Danner as he thought keeping away from HR was the right thing to do. And Harleigh Rose- what a spitfire with the perfect combination of feistiness and vulnerability.
“I’d break my own heart a million times over if it meant keeping you alive.”
You could see the sparks flying between these two as they could not keep their hands off each other (and my kindle was on fire). And I wasn’t expecting Lion to be so dominant but yesssssss I was here for it! These two just fit together like perfect puzzle pieces and they would do anything for each other even in spite of fatal circumstances. I also loved the connections to the rest of the characters from the series (Daddy Z!) and that Lion was always a part of their family. This may have been my fave book yet in the fallen men series and I cannot wait to read more!
Seriously, why is Good Gone Bad so underrated ? I went into this one with little expectation since I almost never see anyone talking specifically about this one so I was really surprised with this story and how much I loved it. Let me start by saying that the first couple of chapters were EPIC and I found so cute to see LouLou defending big bad Zeus. I don’t know if I wasn’t paying attention to the other two books or if this one is special but I found the writing in this book so poetic, everything was said so beautifully.
I never gave too much thought about Rosie and Lion in the other books but boy they just have a special place in my heart after this one. Rosie was so badass, wild and confident. She can take care of herself, she doesn’t let other people brush her off, she does anything to protect her family and loved ones and at the same time that she is thorny on the outside she is such a softie on the inside.
Now Lion, come on more people need to talk about him, everything that came out of his mouth was pure perfection!! He was so protective and took great care of his Rosie, his actions spoke so much more than words, you could feel his love for her coming off the pages since the beginning. He was such a dirty talker!!! I loved that since their first interaction he always chose her side, not caring if he had to go against what he believed in to protect her.
They were opposites in every sense of the word but I never doubted that they were made for each other. I liked that there wasn’t too much push and pull, I could tell since the start that they were all about each other. I loved their banters and the flashbacks were so cute!! Lastly I need to say they were so sexy together, their games were so hot, the sex scenes in this book are my tipe of sex scenes so no wonder taking everything in account why I am obcessed with this book. Shout out to Hero he was the best.
P.S. As always I am amazed with the bond the Garros have.
Giana Darling has done it again. I am on a high only a really good book can give. The kind of book that gets on my favorite books of all time list. Which this one definitely did. Now I won’t lie, I went into this book not expecting to like it at all but I definitely fell head over heels in love with it. The characters, the romance, the writing, the music all left me like
If your considering reading this DO IT!!!!
I am madly in love with this entire series and though Zeus Garro has my heart (and I am not asking for it back anytime soon) Lionel Danner and his. . . preferences() may just be able to steal it.
~Also I HIGHLY recommend going to the end of the book making the a playlist using the playlist provided and listening to it while reading the book. It is honestly a spiritual experience and I would 100% recommend.
~Also also Giana Darling has and great taste in music.
This book was a mesmerizing journey into the lives of the characters created by an author who also crafted an interesting story to go along with them. I was immersed immediately into the story due to the descriptive prose and creative dialogue. I felt each emotion as if it were my own. I wanted to scream at the characters some of the time and I did cry quite a few of the times. Why is he like that? Doesn’t she deserve better? I did not want to get to the end so I put the book down a few times because I couldn’t read any more. But then I picked it right back up because I couldn’t stop reading.
Good Gone Bad follows an intense story. I didn’t think that I could love Harleigh Rose even more than I already did, but I was proven wrong. I love how this woman breaks all my expectations.
To be honest with you all, this one was a little bit out of my comfort zone, but I still enjoyed it. Lion was clearly the biggest surprise in this one and I admired his character.
Harleigh Rose (Rosie) is the daughter of Zeus Garro, Princess of The Fallen, and a total trouble maker. She’s a total badass, takes no prisoner kind of girl and just like her dad, she loves a good rock music. The only thing that goes against her biker self is her mega crush on Officer Danner.
Lionel Danner is a good person. Always following the rules and making sure justice is met. Aside from all this, deep down he always had the desire to be free, wild and carefree.
These two have history. They met when she was 6 years old and he was 16 years old. He took care of her and King while Zeus was in prison and made sure that Farrah was taking care of them.
Though the story starts after the epilogue of Welcome to the Dark Side, the books go back in time to see how the relationship between them grows and develops.
After the events of the previous book, they stopped talking until Rosie calls him because she finds her self in a very bad situation. Danner is working undercover to bring down the Berserkers MC and Rosie offers him and the cops her services.
The relationship between these two is sweet and spicy (lots of spice in there). Danner is a kinky officer and I love it! There’s a lot of sexy moments, but we also get some sad ones. Nonetheless, just like the rest of the series, I highly recommend for you to read this book too!
A Powerful Story of Fighting for the Family You Choose…
Well I have to say, Giana Darling has gone and done it again! Here, just as with Cressida and King’s story, she has ripped open my soul and forced me to stare deeply at my own preconceived notions and turned them upside-down and sideways. Why you ask? Well, you see, after reading the first two emotion packed installments in her “The Fallen Men” series, I was worried this one would not be as vibrant as the others. Mainly because of my own skepticism about what appeared to be a base storyline of a lifelong “good boy” cop turned ambiguous. An initial understanding of the story’s plot that had me raising a proverbial eyebrow.
I was worried the insertion of such a classic “good guy” foil into this darkly passionate story world would push this installment outside the realm of believability for me. However, I could NOT have been more wrong, as here with “Good Gone Bad”, the fourth book and third full length novel in the series, Darling presents something so grounded and real it will shift your perception of the entire series and all that you thought you knew about it!
This book is the story of Fallen MC princess Harleigh Rose and the all-around good cop we first met in King’s story, Lionel Darling. Here, we get a closer look at the pair, Harleigh being the wild, hard as glass biker chick daughter of MC Prez, Zeus, and Lionel, the cop son of the town’s corrupt head cop; a man whose life has been intricately intertwined with Harleigh and her brother since childhood. An overlapping and unavoidable connection that causes havoc within him as he transitions into adulthood and grows to care deeply for the two Fargo siblings despite his father’s insistence that they are the enemy, both bad seeds spawned from a family he feels should be destroyed. It is a sophisticated, heady, at times emotionally overwhelming plot. A story framework far beyond the pale and shallow story twist I initially thought it would be.
Here Darling truly displays her writing prowess as she presents us with something opulently complex, something that is not, at its core, the romantic love story you may be expecting. At least not in the way the previous two were. No, here instead you are gifted with a much larger emotional canvas of love; a level of love, care, and loyalty to the people chosen as family, so fierce, that they are willing to shatter their own hearts and souls over, and over, and over again to protect them all. It is a powerful, heart rendering story of a more determined, desperate kind of unyielding love; a love that ingrains itself into your DNA, refusing to let go, and what those afflicted with it do to protect it. And in short, it will simply blow your mind…
Harleigh Rose is unlike any of the other women before her. Despite being the youngest Garro, she is somehow the hardest, the least conflicted by the biker life, often coming across as callous and bratty, a more two-dimensional biker cliché. Yet not all is as it appears, and you are quickly submerged in a sea of emotions as you are thrust into the realization that she may be hard as glass, but glass is easily shattered if struck just right. It is a shadow of previously unseen depth of character and vulnerability that will bring tears to your eyes and keep you glued to each and every page. And where your soul will attach itself to Harleigh, your heart will latch onto Danner like a steal trap. This man, with his torn morals, hidden dark heart and almost malevolent needs, will attack your sensibilities in ways you least expect as he lays himself before you like an emotional offering. You will swoon as you peer through his eyes, into the heart of his thorny rose. You will blindly follow as he struggles with his moral compass, with his needs and desires, as he fights with the many shades of grey that exist outside his carefully built realm of what his father portrays as good and bad. And you will weep between your thighs as you witness the dominant that finally steps forward to claim what could only ever be truly his. It is a story that is far beyond what I could have ever hoped for.
My only real struggle with this installment was the constant flashbacks; I understood their purpose in the realm of making the reader understand the true history between these two from childhood to now. However, the back and forth between timelines is jarring at times and makes the story clunky enough overall that, in some places throughout the book, it is hard to follow without slowing down and rereading passages before it. It was a juxtaposition that took away from my larger enjoyment of the story being told, as it caused me to have to slow down often, review earlier passages to ensure full understanding, and then restart. I also wish a bit more care had been afforded to Farrah, especially considering her role in everything up to this point from the very start of book one. And Wrath, oh my, I cannot even begin to explain the guttural cry that erupted from me on his behalf!
Despite my dislike for the flashback back and forth, this book is a stunningly beautiful read and Giana Darling is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite authors!
I really enjoyed this third book in the fallen men series it didn’t grip me quite as much as the previous two but was still fabulously well written and engaging managing to draw me in and invest me in the unfolding drama.
I’ve always been slightly fascinated and curious regarding the youngest Garro Harleigh Rose, she’s such a powerhouse of female sass and defiant attitude and the girl gives as good as she gets and is definitely a chip off the old block.
We have had glimpses of Lionel Danner throughout this series and here he is finally brought to centre stage and we get to see just how much he has evolved breaking out from under his corrupt father’s thumb and the catalyst for all this seems to be the Garro kids.
Their presence in his life has made him question all of his deep-set prejudices and preconceived ideas finally giving him that extra push to finally go his own way.
Lion is a man who straddles the line and fights against his very nature which is one of the reasons he ran from his Rosie when his bond with her began to evolve.
So this one was filled with danger and when these two reconnect there both knee-deep in all sorts of intrigue.
Lion is working undercover now, a fully patched member of the berserkers an MC that Harleigh Rose is also heavily involved in through her on/off boyfriend Cricket.
With so much to lose and to protect her family our girl decides that the berserkers are going down this particular MC is rotten to the core and are proving a real threat to her fallen family even more so when a familiar face from her past is added to the mix.
Harleigh will risk losing the very people she’s trying to keep safe as she attempts to distance herself while she works towards keeping them free from harm.
Teaming up with lion both to take down this MC and also in his bed hard choices will need to be made ones that will test their bond to its very limit.
This one definitely has a love across the barricades vibe, a modern Romeo and Juliet theme if you get my drift.
The sex here was hot and kinky as all hell Lion is a definite freak between the sheets, a dominant who likes a submissive woman in his bed but also a feisty one with prickly thorns elsewhere and Harleigh finds it liberating and freeing to relinquish that control to him in the bedroom and
Underneath all that attitude and mouth is a vulnerable girl one that she has buried down deep but lion discovers.
One thing that I wasn’t a fan of though was that Lion had two other women on the go when he and Harleigh reconnect.
One is a cop he is dating and to be fair he does dump her fairly swiftly but I actually did feel a tad bad for the woman and couldn’t really see the point to her inclusion either and the other is a biker chick he has claimed as his old lady as part of his cover.
He doesn’t actually sleep with either of them after harleigh’s reappearance but he does make out with his old lady in public so as not to blow his cover.
I so wasn’t a fan of this scenario and it did take some of my enjoyment of this away because of that.
Harleigh was definitely jealous but didn’t seem worried in the slightest that he wanted any of them over her and it wasn’t even majorly discussed between them.
Other than the above this one was grand it was tension-filled and heart-pounding mostly because of the danger involved and was a great addition to the ongoing series, I also really did appreciate the epilogue.

I absolutely loved this book! Lionel Danner was so much more than I was hoping for! The police officer that fell for the biker girl! This was a whole lot of crazy but sweet in between. And boy is it sexy as sin! This series just keeps getting better and better!

This is book three in The Fallen Men series, finally we have Harleigh Rose and Danner’s story. And what a wonderful story it was. I love this series a lot and with every book i read i fall more and more in love with it.

Lionel Danner is the epitome of good. He has always wanted to be a good cop regardless of his corrupt father, he wanted to help and rescue people and the two little kids he helped ended up changing his life completely.
Harleigh Rose is the Fallen princess, she is everything bad and wild wrapped in a perfect package. She is her father’s daughter through and through. She appears to be strong and confident but on the inside she is riddled with insecurities.
The chemistry between these two was out of this world. It’s been building up for years and then it combusted, and damn i was not ready for that. Danner was not the saint i believed he was, Giana really surprised me with this one. And there was also the forbidden aspect of their relationship as she is the princess of The Fallen MC and he is a cop.

Good Gone Bad was an epic ride, i didn’t read their story i LIVED IT and that’s when you know you hit the jackpot. Giana is in my unicorn authors list now.

Danner and HR are so good together. I loved seeing the flashbacks and getting the chance to understand their history. My heart ached for Harleigh Rose so many times in this book. Trying to fix everything on her own and feeling like everything kept blowing up in her face. I always feel like the ability for an author to take a character you may love to hate on and make you fall hopelessly in love with is a true sign of talent as a writer. I wasn’t crazy about HR early on in the series, but every time I’d read about her, I’d fall a little more in love. I read this entire series in three days because I couldn’t stop. This series has put Giana on my forever favorites list and I plan on reading everything she’s involved in.
Well hello Officer Danner! The good have definitely gone bad in this third book of the series!
I really didn’t know what to expect from Lionel Danner but wow did he blow me away! With each character story this series gets better and better. So much goes on in this book and it had my emotions all over the place. Let’s also stop and take a moment for how hot and steamy Lion and Harleigh Rose are between the sheets – WOW. Simply put I loved this book. I knew Harleigh Rose was going to be the most epic biker babe there is and she did not disappoint. Such a strong heroine to risk losing it all to fight for what she believed in. Danner also totally came through sticking with what was best for them and not always what was right. Even though it wrestled with his conscience, this battle between good and evil, he didn’t back down!
This book is a must read. You will fall in love with this couple just like all the rest!
What a rollercoaster!
This book is beyond incredible. I was anxious and on edge so many times, I lost my breath countless times, it’s a wonder I didn’t pass out.
Harleigh Rose is a force to be reckoned. She has this duality about herself that made the book much more appealing and believable, even though it’s a fictional story.
She is strong as hell, driven, willful. When she set her mind on something, no one could persuade her of going the other way. Yet she was vulnerable, she longed for what she thought she would never had, she was a daddy’s girl, she loved fiercely and protected her loved ones with her strength and her vulnerability.
A true rose, sweet smelling, gourgeous, so potent in her blossoming, and thorny as all get out. She was complex, unpredictable, stormy and reckless.
As Loulou was strong in a classy, aristocratic way, HR was vulnerable in her strength and strong in her vulnerability. A bad girl doing good deeds. Who would have thought?
I’m mesmerized.
Lionel Danner was just as much imponent. Powerful and dangerous as a Lion, admirable as cop, fearless between the enemy, honest enough to admit his admiration about whom people normally turned their noses up, releteless either wearing a uniform or a cut.
A real man ready to domain over her Rose, die for her life and guarantee that she can blossom whatever the mess she finds herself into.
They were explosive, allconsuming, courageous and willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good and for the ones they loved.
It was a wonderful story that totally drained me, but in an amazing way. And not just because of the main characters. Every single character, either good or bad, made an impact.
Again: What a rollercoaster.
I’ve been a fan of this author for a long time, and her MC series is by far one of the best out there. And because I love the gritty, no holds barred way in which the books unfold, I was beyond curious about how the author was going to bring everyone’s favorite neighborhood cop into the fold. Dinner is well-known to the Fallen Men, especially the Prez’s daughter, who has been pining for him from afar since she was way too young to do so. When Dinner and Harley Rose find themselves in an environment that’s hazardous to both their healths, their feelings for each other come to a head. We’ve seen the Fallen Men in action before, but we’ve never seen the family and club in such a frenzy like the one that worry for their princess drives them into. There is literally no way to predict what will happen from one chapter to the next. The rollercoaster of angst and attitude that Danner and HR force each other to ride is ridiculously wild. The author can write one hell of a story, and while you can read this as a standalone, I wouldn’t suggest it because the books that come before it are TOO GOOD to skip. I look forward to a long and windy road of Fallen Men bikers and their stories in the future.
The good guy gets the wild girl
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is book 3 in the Fallen Men series.
Triggers: domestic violence, homicide, illegal drug use, some elements of power exchange, age/gap
**spoilers**
The author is doing a great job of making the reader like the characters.
This is Harleigh Rose’s story. She is Zeus’ daughter but determined to do things her way even if she gets hurt. She has crushed on local police officer Lionel Danner since she was a child. They had one brief moment when she was 17, but he left because he thought he was too old for her.
Harleigh Rose then turned to another guy who abused her for years. She didn’t tell anyone. When something bad happens, she calls Danner not her dad.
Action, violence, sexy time, drama then HEA.
From first to last, this book does not pull its punches. Ms Darling has created such wonderfully complex characters, some of whom are savage and sadistic, others who are deep thinkers, loyal and loving, in their own rough and ready, foul mouthed way, and I absolutely loved it. I had so many conflicting emotions and heart stopping moments as the shocks and surprises just kept coming.
Harleigh Rose, MC princess, is all grown up. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about her based on her previous behaviour, but I shouldn’t have worried. Beneath the tough biker babe exterior there’s a certain vulnerability which, together with her fighting spirit, her loyalty and love for her family, totally endeared her to me. She’s got real grit and determination and I loved her for it.
Lionel Danner is the good guy but, as the title suggests, he knows how to cross that line into bad boy territory when necessary. His relationship with HR is a long and complicated one. It’s intense and passionate and forbidden. This author does a fantastic job of prolonging the sexual tension and the tease between these two. You can feel the agony of not being able to act on their desires, the strain of trying to hide their feelings. The need, the wanting, the longing is agonising and when it all becomes too much to resist any longer, Rosie and her Lion light the world, and the pages, on fire. They, like the gripping plot, will leave you breathless and panting for more.
Action packed and heartbreaking at times, Good Gone Bad is going to smack you right between the eyes and you won’t know what’s hit you!
