He’ll teach her to be badThe new girl next door? She’s adorable, but totally off-limits. I don’t do commitment—been there, done that, got the broken heart—and sweet-as-pie Becca is too close to girlfriend material. But she asks me to help her find her naughty side, and I’m the perfect guy for the job. She wants to take some risks and face her fears, and I have all kinds of ideas. I just need to … of ideas. I just need to keep my d*ck—and my heart—out of it.
After all, we’re just two friends having fun. What could possibly go wrong?
Suddenly single, and on my own in a new town, I decide it’s time to stop being so predictable. I’m tired of being the good girl. And who better to help me out of my shell than my new neighbor, Lucas?
Sure, he’s sexy as sin. And as our adventures in naughtiness escalate, my lady parts are not complaining.
We agreed to stay just friends. We wouldn’t let this get complicated. But Lucas is kind of amazing. And the more time we spend together, the more my heart wants things he can’t give.

Becca is so distraught that her boyfriend of four years was breaking up with her instead of proposing that she ended up throwing up on the tablecloth and all over her now ex-boyfriend. She realized she’s never been on her own and she needed to be away from her parents who still treated her like a child. So she decides to move close to her friend, Juliet, in Jetty Beach. The first night in her new place her neighbor is having wall shaking sex. Like really loud…he has to know the walls are paper thin! Why is this kind of hot? Becca gets up in the morning to do a coffee run since she’s not unpacked and remembers that her phone is still in the apartment. When she gets to the door she realizes her keys are in car….the locked car!
Lucas is leaving to pick up some groceries when he sees the girl next door sitting by her front door crying. When he realizes what’s going on he invites her to wait at his place until locksmith arrives. He finally realizes where he’s seen her before. At Finn’s bar going on about her perfect boyfriend. When he says this out loud she bursts into tears and breaks down and tells him what happened. Lucas realizes that she’s never used any swear words.. She is just so cute and innocent he wants to dirty her up.
Becca is tired of everyone calling her sweet. She feels like Sandy in Grease. Maybe she needs someone to help her find her naughty side. Who better than Lucas?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! It is hilarious and smoking hot ! I love the characters. Becca who wants to overcome her fears (she has tons of them) and I love Lucas’ sexy dirty humor and his determination to get Becca out of her secure box. And of course I love all the other people in Jetty Beach. Lucas reminds me of Gavin and Cooper — humorous bad boy all the way.
I wish I had a neighbor like Lucas Murphy!
There’s something quite endearing about Good Girl Next Door. It’s sweet yet spicy. I loved the premise. Devil may care Lucas takes timid, slightly naive Becca and volunteers to lead her down the path to being a naughty girl. Their forays away from good girl into naughtiness are fun, flirty and eventually very steamy. In an unexpected turn of events Luca realizes he’s crossed over the friendship lines into something more meaningful. He’s not sure where to go from there. Thank goodness for Finn’s solid advice.
Book six in the Jetty Beach series features Becca and Lucas and can be read as a stand alone. This book is written in 1st person with dual POV. I love the Jetty Beach setting and the characters who live there. This book is funny, steamy, and has all the feels with a sweet HEA.
I really enjoyed reading as Becca gained confidence in herself and explored life outside of the strict boundaries she has always lived within. Her break up with previous boyfriend, Brandon, will have to go down as one of my favorite break up scenes of all time. There is a scene with a spider that had me laughing so hard I cried, in part because the husband and I recently had a very similar scene happen in our own home not too long ago.
I loved Lucas and his adventurous nature. I really enjoyed how fast he fell for Becca, but was completely clueless about it. I really appreciated how much he believed in Becca from the beginning, even before he knew her well. I loved that he helped her push her limits.
I loved this book so much! My favourite of all three in the Jetty Beach that I read. Loved Lucas. He had so much fun with Becca. This is an enjoyable book if you want an easy, relaxing read.
I loved everything about Lucas and Becca, their friendship and how Lucas worked to help take Becca out of her comfort zone and explore that other side of herself. I’m loving the Return to Jetty Beach Series!
