The third novel in New York Times bestselling author Kelly Elliott’s Meet Me in Montana series shows how family and true love can heal a broken past.
After her mother died in a car accident when she was only five, and her father was determined not to show any emotions toward his only daughter, Timberlynn longs for a normal family. What she hadn’t planned on was finding that family in Hamilton, … Hamilton, Montana—thousands of miles away from everything she’s ever known in Atlanta, Georgia. She certainly didn’t plan on falling for Tanner Shaw. A handsome, charming, cowboy who swept her off her feet the moment he looked at her with eyes the color of the Montana sky.
Tanner Shaw was lost and confused…living a life without purpose, traveling between one city to the next. With a longing desire for something he could not quite pinpoint, he heads back to his hometown in Montana to spend Christmas with his family and clear his clouded head. One look at Timberlynn standing in his family’s kitchen, and his entire world is turned upside down. Or was it?
For once in his life, Tanner knew exactly what he wanted and was determined to prove to the only woman he had ever loved that what they shared was worth the risk. But winning Timberlynn Holden’s heart wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought. Can Tanner finally rope in the woman he loves, or will he be unable to help her mend her broken heart?
Good Enough is a stand alone novel in the Meet Me in Montana series.

5 GOOD ENOUGH STARS!! I live in Montana and this book was PERFECTION. Timberlynn and Tanner will give you all the feels through their story from the beginning to the end. I could not put this book down….I read in one sitting. This author is moving up as one of my go to authors to 1-Click all books. You definitely need to read this book.
ღღ I loved this Sexy Cowboy! ღღ
I love sweet and steamy romantic reads, and this one from Author Kelly Elliott’s Meet Me in Montana series featuring some of the hottest bull riding and roping cowboys on the rodeo circuit was one I didn’t want to be putting down and doing adult-y stuff for.
It’s book three in the series, and the Shaw family play a big part as secondary characters in these books, so if you’ve read the first two, you’ll be rapt to meet these wonderful people again. If, like me, this is the first in the series for you, then be prepared to meet two of the most wonderful Parentals ever. Stella and Ty Senior are loving forces of nature and Ty Senior shows Timberlynn what a supportive father truly looks like. The scene stealer for me was young 5-year-old Blayze, a cheeky young man who absolutely stole my heart.
The role of fathers in their children’s lives is an important one, and for girls, they model the value they think that future partners will place on them. My heart broke for Timberlynn as she believed she would never be good enough to have that easy love from her father, and has sworn to herself that another man will never hurt her again. This is the saddest lesson for a young lady, hell, any young child to learn. Throughout her life she’s done everything she could to earn her father’s love and attention to no avail until in book two apparently, she goes to Montana for her cousin’s wedding, meeting a gorgeous Montana-blue eyed cowboy that she can’t stop thinking about. He’s not the deciding factor though, she has bigger and admirable dreams that can now come to fruition, so she ditched her present life and is Montana bound.
On his part, Tanner Shaw has been getting dissatisfied with his life on the rodeo circuit as has his roping partner. They want to reassess life, so head home for some R and R over the Christmas Break. His life lights up when the woman he can’t stop thinking about since his brother’s wedding in book two shows up at his parents’ house, and thus starts this beautiful book where a tenacious Tanner shows just how it is that a cowboy digs in for the long game. The more he gets to know the gorgeous Timberlynn and her new goals, the more he realises just how in sync they are. He’s going to need every bit of his coaxing patience to outwait the woman who will never trust a man for love and support ever again. Lessons learned in childhood are well entrenched.
Ms Elliott’s writing is emotive and descriptive, and I adored everything about this book from the plot to the characters that she created. Those Shaw men are sexy deliciousness personified. Manly but not obnoxious, and I loved the way that Tanner equally supported Timberlynn’s dream and her personal need to strive for it herself, not riding in like a knight on his steed to take over when she hits her father’s brick wall, but offered a creative solution for her consideration. That man rocked!
4.5 Stars for a beautifully romantic cowboy and the woman who’s dreams matched his own ღღ
This is really an incredible series. This book focuses on Kaylee’s cousin Timberlynn and starts with the tragic loss of her mother when she was a child. Now she looking to escape her current life and get out from under the dark cloud she’s been living in. In trying to live her life and define herself, she visits her cousin in Montana and stays with the Shaw family.
The third Shaw brother, Tanner, is also home after his partner decides he wants a break from the rodeo circuit. Tanner immediately falls for Timber, but she’s not ready to open her heart and let someone in who may eventually leave, physically or emotionally, like her parents.
This one was well written, and shows the emotional barriers and lack of communication that can occur after a significant loss. Thankfully, the entire Shaw family helps heal and reunite.

Good Enough is book 3 in the Meet Me in Montana series by Kelly Elliott a fairly new author to me but what a well written, emotional story.
Timberlynn hasn’t had an easy life losing her mother when she was five and a father not wanting to show her love. When she attended her cousins’s wedding in Montana she meets Tanner sparks fly but she returns home to Georgia. Life happens and she decides to return to Montana looking for a fresh start and now Tanner is back in her life.
What happens when Tanner decide Timberlynn is it for him…lots of emotions, opening your heart, chemistry, family, friends and so much more! Will certainly be getting the rest of the books in this series…
THOROUGHLY OBSESSED WITH KELLY’S WRITING AND THIS SERIES! I swear, these books make me want to spend a couple weeks in Montana and potentially never leave! After the traumatic death of her mother, Timberlynn has had a difficult childhood where her father barely acknowledges her and forces her to live the life her mother once did. Deciding to make a change after coming into her trust fund and focusing on living out her dreams, she decides to move to Montana to be near her cousin after falling in love with the town. Tanner has been somewhat forced into early retirement from the circuit after his partner decides he wants out. Heading home to go over his options, he’s surprised that his hookup from his brother’s wedding is back in town, although not unhappy about it since she’s all he can think about since then. Giving them a chance to explore more than one night, these two also have the ability to help each other work through the issues surrounding relationships that they have, albeit not an easy task. When they finally are able to break through those their relationship flourishes, and Tanner even takes on the task of knocking some sense into Timberlynn’s father. In true Kelly fashion – things end up working out for this couple as well as her father! I loved this story (much like every Kelly Elliott book I read) and I can’t wait for the next installment in this series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Good Enough is the third book in Meet Me in Montana Series. I can’t express to you, how much I enjoyed this small town, family and friends, southern charm story. I liked Tanner and Timberlynn from the moment they met, sparks were flying, but they had so much more in common. I liked the interaction between secondary characters too. Each story in this series will make you swoon, and I have never wanted to visit a place as much as Montana after reading this book.
I adore this series and Tanner and Timberlynn are my new favorite couple. It broke my heart and put it back together. It was a total binge read for me! I can’t wait for more from Kelly Elliott!
4.5-stars.
I am really enjoying reading the Meet Me in Montana series by Kelly Elliott. In Good Enough, we get Tanner and Timberlynn’s story. Let me tell you, it was emotional and heartfelt. We met Timberlynn at the end of the previous book and just knew there was a story there. Timberlynn just broke my heart. All the heartache and rejection she has faced has made her weary of love. When she has the opportunity to start over and maybe find what she has been missing, she takes it. What she never expected was Tanner. Tanner is strong, determined and caring. When she pushed, he pulled. Could he make her see what was right in front of them?
I was completely captivated by Tanner and Timberlynn’s story. It was touching and angsty. A story about love, family and moving forward. I loved it and highly recommend it.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
Another 5-star book! I could not put this book down! I was so excited to read about the Shaw boys again and Tanner might be my new favorite. I loved that he was in touch with his feelings and went straight for it rather than playing hard to get. It was nice to have a male character written this way. I also enjoyed that Timberlynn had a rough history and it affected the way she interacted and trusted people. I really enjoyed the parts of the story with Timberlynn’s dad as well! Their love story is nothing short of amazing! Another perfectly written happily ever after! Ps. I really want to try the fruit dip!!
Oh wow! Timberlynn and Tanner’s story was absolutely a joy to read! Timberlynn didn’t have an easy time growing up in Georgia and in her mother’s shadow. It was time for her to spread her wings and when she went to visit her cousin, Kaylee, she fell in love with Montana. Annnnnnd maybe a certain Shaw brother! I enjoyed seeing Timberlynn and Tanner develop a friendship and see their connection grow. There was something special between them and they knew it. Tanner appreciated Timberlynn and he didn’t want to blow it. He was ready to be and do whatever she needed. It was a sweet, endearing and completely captivating read
I have been dying to get my hands on Tanner’s story since the first book in this series. I just knew when he fell he would fall hard and love even harder. And boy did Elliott ever deliver.
My favorite of the series so far, Good Enough is a beautifully written story of love that heals. My heart ached for Timberlynn and it fall head over heals for Tanner. This one had me all up in my feels and I never wanted it to end.
I am absolutely in love with this series and I cannot wait to see what Elliott brings us next!
With each book in this series they are just so good I don’t want it to end. Tanner and Timberlynn had that spark when they meet at her cousin wedding now months later living in Montana is looking mighty fine. These two have that connection but Timber is guarding her heart after he heart being broken growing up. I love how the chemistry they have keeps them moving in the right direction to them both finding there happiness.
I have never been to Montana, but it was not difficult to imagine myself in Big Sky Country given Elliott’s descriptive writing. I could see why TimberLynn fell in love with the area and wanted to stay. Well it may have partly been due to the area and partly Tanner! He is a hunky, sexy cowboy with a sweet side. She is a gorgeous woman trying to make her dreams come true while dealing with issues of trust. There is an instant attraction between Tanner and TimberLynn, yet as they take a step forward in their relationship, they take 2 steps back. Told in dual POV, you can easily see why there is this constant push and pull in their relationship. Will TimberLynn learn to trust and get her HEA? Tanner’s family, especially Blayze, add fun shenanigans that definitely enhances this story. This is a well written, descriptive read. 5 Finding Themselves Stars!!
Tanner Shaw has been somewhat of a mystery to me through this series and I loved everything about this book his story and his love with Timberlynn. Talk about two people that are perfect for each other!!
Timber has really been living her life based on dreams that were put upon her and she’s finally reached a point where she’s ready to do something that she’s been dreaming about and the fact that it will bring her right back to a man that she felt the most amazing chemistry with is an added bonus. Tanner is home from the roping circuit and has really begun to question what his life is all about especially now that his two older brothers have settled down and having families. While it’s not been something at the forefront of his thoughts Timber certainly is niggling around in there since their meeting at Ty and Kaylee’s wedding.
I loved how Tanner and Timber connected. Because of her past, she’s hesitant about love, but definitely wants to live out her dream of rescuing and rehabilitating horses. And Tanner is the man that can show her that love is possible all while living her dreams. I loved how he loved her too. Theirs isn’t an easy love that’s for sure. This is a slow-burn at it’s best but the chemistry between them is undeniable!
This story is beautifully written and gave me all the feels. I could feel the tugging of each of their hearts. How they wanted to give in to their feelings but fear makes them hesitant to take that step. Ms. Elliott has done a marvelous job writing a story that transports me to Montana where I can feel the cool mountain air as I once again became enmeshed into the Shaw family and all the characters I love!!
This is my first read by Kelly Elliot. I feel like this book was the breath of fresh air that I so desperately have been needing and helped me get out of this weird reading slump I was in. This was such a sweet, romantic, family oriented, small town romance. She wrote a beautiful story that hooked me in from page one.
I freaking fell HARD for Tanner Shaw. He wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to hold back his attraction towards Timberlynn and how he wants to spend all his time with her. He is incredibly patient with Timberlynn, because he can see that she’s battling with things she isn’t ready to share with him. He’s a Championship holding cattle roper who has started to realize that something in his life has been missing the last few months, and decides to take a break from roping and spend some time at home in Montana for Christmas. Little does he know that a certain someone will also be spending time at the family ranch.
“If I were being honest, I liked the way he made me feel when he gave me that brilliant smile of his.”
Timberlynn has finished school for nursing and started a new job at the hospital. But she realizes that she’s not happy because nursing is not her dream. She decides to head to Montana to visit her cousin for Christmas. She has fears and trust issues that stem from a past relationship and her father, so she has a hard time opening herself up to Tanner, the guy she hasn’t been able to stop thinking about since her cousin’s wedding. She soon realizes that she can’t deny her strong feelings for him any longer and she falls into him. She is incredibly strong, independent, knows what she wants and won’t let anything get in the way of her dreams.
“As long as I get to see your beautiful smile everyday, hear your laughter on the breeze, and see those beautiful eyes of yours, I’ll wait as long as you need me to, for whatever happens next.”
Tanner and Timberlynn’s relationship and feelings start out slow, but I also feel like it moved quickly at the same time, which didn’t bother me at all. Another thing that was a nice change of pace for me! The flirty banter between the two of them is so cute! Their connection and chemistry is so strong, and there was no shortage of steamy scenes between the two. I loved everyone in the Shaw family (can’t wait to go back and read Never Enough & Always Enough, books 1 and 2 in the series), they were all very funny and likeable. Dirk and Mana Shaw were such meddlers, but I loved them for it. As much as Timberlynn and Tanner tried to deny their feelings to the family, they all seemed to see it before they admitted it to themselves. And Blayze, what a little stud! I’d love to see him have his own book one day.
“That’s the funny thing about love. It looks past all the faults, forgives easily, and has a way of changing people.”
Please tell me Dirk’s story is next!!

This is book 3 in the Meet Me in Montana series by Kelly Elliott and it just keeps getting better with each book. A great small-town friends to lovers romance that will leave you wanting more, then you found the right book. Loved Timberlynn and Tanner. The chemistry between them so good. Timberlynn has suffered different forms of loss in her life. She lost her mother to a car accident when she was 6 which caused her father to stop being there for her and add a broken romance in the mix had a lot of loss and trust issues. Tanner has a hard time really putting himself out there but when Timberlynn is around, he feels comfortable enough to be free. Will Tanner be able to help her overcome her past issues and find a future with him and follow her dreams?
Great read that will have you falling in love right along with the characters. Kelly has a great way of creating worlds and characters that are so easy to fall in love with and feel like you are part of their family. Love her work.
Timberlynn and Tanner seem like they were just meant to be together til the end of time. I am pretty sure I had a smile on my face the entire time I read this book. It’s such a refreshingly romantic book.
Timberlynn lives in Atlanta but is looking for more out of life than what she currently has. After visiting Montana months prior for her cousins wedding she’s decided to head west and see if she can find what she’s looking for. Of course the fact that she may run into the gorgeous Tanner Shaw there certainly won’t hurt anything either.
Tanner has been roping for many years. Tanner feels like he’s been missing out on something in his life, he’s just not sure what’s missing. He and his friend Chance have decided they need a break. They head back to Montana for an extended Christmas break. He arrives home to find a wonderful surprise in the tiny package of one Timberlynn Holden. Could this be what he was missing???
If you’re looking for a feel good romance with a happily ever after then look no further. This series is wonderful. I of course loved the look at the couples from the first two books as well. Book 4 is in the works and I’m anxious to read that as well. I have a guess as to who that book will revolve around and I can’t wait to read it. Kelly Elliott sure knows how to keep me coming back for more. 5 star read no doubts!!
Such a feel good love story! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read

I was DYING to read this book and it was everything I needed it to be. Kelly brought it ALL with Good Enough!
Timberlynn stole the spotlight with this read. I am absolutely obsessed and she broke my heart. Everything she endured in her life? Just gutted me and I was READY for this story and the HEA I knew Kelly was going to give us.
