The third novel in New York Times bestselling author Kelly Elliott’s Meet Me in Montana series shows how family and true love can heal a broken past.
After her mother died in a car accident when she was only five, and her father was determined not to show any emotions toward his only daughter, Timberlynn longs for a normal family. What she hadn’t planned on was finding that family in Hamilton, … Hamilton, Montana—thousands of miles away from everything she’s ever known in Atlanta, Georgia. She certainly didn’t plan on falling for Tanner Shaw. A handsome, charming, cowboy who swept her off her feet the moment he looked at her with eyes the color of the Montana sky.
Tanner Shaw was lost and confused…living a life without purpose, traveling between one city to the next. With a longing desire for something he could not quite pinpoint, he heads back to his hometown in Montana to spend Christmas with his family and clear his clouded head. One look at Timberlynn standing in his family’s kitchen, and his entire world is turned upside down. Or was it?
For once in his life, Tanner knew exactly what he wanted and was determined to prove to the only woman he had ever loved that what they shared was worth the risk. But winning Timberlynn Holden’s heart wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought. Can Tanner finally rope in the woman he loves, or will he be unable to help her mend her broken heart?
Good Enough is a stand alone novel in the Meet Me in Montana series.

Another fantastic addition to this amazing series! Tanner and Timberlynn’s journey was so much fun to follow and my heart broke for the pain that Timberlynn went through at such a young age. The author did a fabulous job showing the strength and courage of both characters.
I cannot wait read the rest of this series; the love and connection of this group of family/friends is amazing to see.
Tanner and Timberlynn have a beautiful love story.

This is the third book in the Meet Me in Montana series and while it can be read as a stand-alone, why? In this book get to see so many of the characters we have come to love from the first to books like our resident cute tiny cowboy who tries to call dibs on all the “pretty ladies” who come to visit the family. Timberlynn Holden came for a wedding and ended up staying for life. Tanner looked across the wedding gathering and I swear he fell in love right then and there. Of course, it took that cowboy months and miles later to get his act together and Timberlynn as well. I love a great cowboy read and nothing is better than reading about Montana and family. This family has sure stolen my heart!
Good Enough is the third book in the series and Tanner Shaw gets his turn at finding love. Taking some time off from roping, Tanner heads back to the ranch for Christmas. He has no idea that Kaylee’s cousin Timberlynn will also be visiting for the holidays. He hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her since Kaylee and Ty’s wedding. When he sees her standing in his parents’ kitchen, everything changes for him.u2063

I loved so many things about this book!u2063
u2063
Tanner – he is focused on showing Timberlynn that she is good enough and deserves to be loved. He never waivers, even when she pushes him away time and time again.u2063
Timberlynn had a different kind of childhood. Losing her mother when she was 6, she wasn’t raised in a house that showed outward signs of love. She wants a family like the Shaws have but doesn’t believe she deserves it. It broke my heart a few times seeing her constantly hurting. u2063
The Shaws – they love each other fiercely and would do anything for each other…and those they consider family. Stella is the best kind of matriarch and instinctively knows what someone needs before they need it. I want to be her someday. u2063
The ranch – is it weird that I now want to go to Montana because of Kelly’s descriptions of the ranch and surrounding mountains? Beautiful!!u2063
Blayze – I have to mention Blayze again! He’s hysterical and such a little ladies’ man! u2063
u2063
This is a story of love, healing, and finding family, both your own and the one you didn’t know you needed. It’s what happens when you finally let yourself believe that you ARE good enough to love and be loved. Don’t miss this one!u2063
When Timberlynn was five, she witnessed her mother die before her eyes after a car accident shattered her family. Years later Timberlynn has a strained relationship with her father since that day and after years of trying to prove she is worthy of his love by following her mothers desire for her future. The only problem is Timberlynn is not happy, she makes a decision to leave everything behind and relocate to Hamilton, Montana to start a business of her own.
There is something about Timberlynn that Tanner Shaw can’t get off of his mind. Deciding to take a break from the rodeo circuit, he heads home only to find Timberlynn is back in Hamilton. Tanner wants Timberlynn but she is reluctant to go there, can he prove to Timberlynn he is worth taking a chance on or will she continue to hold him at a distance?
This was wonderful, a bit angsty in spots but I think it worked in the books favor. Wonderful characters in the story. I liked Tanner, he was all cowboy with a ton of charm. Great read.
I have always love Kelly’s books. I started this new series with this one. The third book in the series. You don’t necessary need to read these in order. As I was not lost reading this one without reading the first two.
This one is all about Timberlynn who just wants to feel loved and wants a normal family. She decides to take a vacation to Hamilton, Montana to visit her friend. She is chasing her dreams and trying to decide if Hamilton is where she wants to be to live out those dreams. She runs into Tanner again and realizes that Hamilton is where she wants to be if Tanner wants to be with her. But that is a battle in itself. There is instant chemistry between these two but will they be able to draw on it and come together?
I absolutely loved this one. I missed Kelly’s characters and her writer. She always draws you into the story through her strong characters and storyline that you just cant get enough of. This is one of them. I absolutely love Timberlynn and Tanner but you have the additional Shaw family members to read and learn about.
I cant wait to read more from this series.
5 Stars
Once again, Kelly Elliott proves why no one writes small town cowboy romances better than her. Tanner Shaw may have just swooned his way into the number one Shaw brother for me. Lawd have mercy that man! I always say I know I’ve read a great book when the author submerges me into the pages of the story and I feel as if I’m living right along with the characters. Well, she certainly succeeded with Tanner and Timberlynn. My heart ached for this girl and everything she has missed out on, but soared for her knowing she found what she was looking for in Tanner. His patience with her is unyielding and exactly what she needed. These two are everything! I absolutely adored this addition to the Meet Me in Montana series.

Good Enough is the third book in the Meet Me in Montana series. This is Tanner, the youngest brother’s book.
Tanner is such a sweetheart! He’s an extremely patient and special person and I adored him from the very first page. His determination to win Timberlynn, even with her constantly pushing him away as well as throwing mixed signals, was a testament to how good a man he was. Tanner knew she was important and would be worth the wait. Timberlynn worked my nerves. I’ve never been a fan of back and forth between my characters, but I’m glad I kept at it, because when Timberlynn finally decided to take a chance, Tanner was there to make her feel safe and loved. They had so much in common and they genuinely made each other happy.
It was great to catch up with Ty and Brock and their wives Lincoln and Kaylee. Blayze is still adorable and such a sweet young man. The Shaw family is full of love and their parents are a huge part of that reason.
I’ve enjoyed getting to know these characters and I’m looking forward to the final book Strong Enough due early next year.
Well what can I say… Tanner Shaw is by my, most favourite Shaw brother and very swoon worthy of all, out of the “Meet Me in Montana” series.
Tanner Shaw and Timberlynn Holden is a love at first sight and it’s full steam ahead for them both. Timberlynn comes from a rough past and Tanner is trying to find the missing piece but when lives collide, there is nothing stopping these two who absolutely adore each other and it’s beautiful.
Meet Me in Montana makes me wanna visit and move to Hamilton and live on ranch just like the Shaw’s estate.
The way Kelly described the scenery in Good Enough, was so vivid and beautiful that the passion in the words in itself, was just amazing. My most favourite scenes in the story.
Well Done Kelly!!!

I loved this book. This is one of my favorite authors, Kelly Elliott. I recommend any and all her books!
My Favorite of the Series!!!
I couldn’t wait for Tanner’s book! I just knew there was going to be something special about that boy and I wasn’t wrong! This book was amazing! I loved it from page one until the very end. My emotions were everywhere and my heart broke for poor Timberlynn. I was so happy she found Tanner, or he found her, heck they just found each other lol… They were the missing piece to the puzzle they both desperately needed. I really enjoyed being on their journey with them.
I have loved every book in this series, I wish there could be more…. Hint hint, maybe Blaze could get a book?! Just saying!!!!
So Sweet and Steamy!
Kelly Elliot has you falling for these characters instantly. I was hooked right from the very start! Good Enough is an absolute winner. Be prepared to devour these pages. Sit back and enjoy this truly enjoyable love story.
I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!!
When I first saw the cover I just knew this book was going to be EPIC, and I was right. Good Enough was so much more than I expected. This was a book about love, family, and taking a chance. Timberlynn was everything, my heart hurt for her and I just wanted her to get some happiness. Tanner was just wanting something real, love, and a family. So when he meets Timberlynn he was smitten and just couldn’t forget about her.
I loved just how Tanner just couldn’t forget about Timberlynn, so when she comes back into town he is all in. These two needed each other, they needed to find each other to realize they completed each other. I loved this story so much, Kelly Elliot sure does know how to make her readers swoon.
“I wanted to give you something I’ve never given anyone before…my heart.”
Tanner and Timberlynn’s relationship was sweet and adorable.
Tanner a Professional rodeo team roper feels a longing to be home with the ones he loves. After a winning round a rodeo he and his partner decide to take a longer break over the holidays. When he get there he sees the girl who has been in his dreams.
Timberlynn Holden wants a change and follow her dreams, which isn’t the nursing career that she’s currently at. When her cousin Kaylee invites her to Montana for Christmas to share big news and her work won’t let her off…she quits. She decides now the time to follow her dreams and move on with her life someplace new. She packs the few things she wants to keep and tells her roommate to sell the rest. She shows up at the Shaw ranch to relax and figure out where she wants to end up. When she walks into the house she sees the man whose been starting in her dreams Tanner Shaw.
With Timberlynn having been hurt before between a distant father and cheating ex, a relationship is the last thing she is looking for.
This was such a beautifully written story. Tanner was such a sincere cowboy who knows what he what and plans to get it.
I absolutely love this series and all these characters. Good Enough is my favorite out of the series. Kelly Elliott knows how to write cowboys!
Needing a break Tanner decides to take a break from the rodeo circuit. He isn’t sure what to do with roping being his life. He is ready to be home and maybe ready to settle down. Seeing his brother’s so happy and in love he is ready for that as well.
Timberlynn and Tanner have so much chemistry. I was really pulling for them. They form a sweet friendship and I loved watching their relationship bloom. This book and this series is one you don’t want to miss. You will fall in love with these characters. Must Read!
This is the first book in the Montana series I have read, but as soon as i get some free time im going to read the other two.
Timberlynn and Tanner’s story was such a sweet love story. I cried… and cried some more.
I’m such a sucker for a love at first sight romance novel, but who isn’t?
I fell in love with ALL the characters in this story. His family, and then at the end her daddy.
Timberlynn felt like she couldn’t trust men after her relationship with her dad, and an EX who crushed her. But Tanner showed her how opening her heart up for someone to actually love and appreciate her for who she is wasn’t a bad thing.
Tanner makes me want a cowboy *droooool*
That cover Though……
Good enough by Kelly Elliott
5* 26.9.20
Tanner and Timberlynn were great together, both strong willed, determined, independent on their own, but together…..they were explosive.
Loved catching up with the Shaw family, excited to seeing the family grow. They each have important roles to play in the series, and i love that we get to spend lots of time with them all in each of the stories.
Timber is a firecracker, knows exactly what she wants, and does not hesitate to go after it. As does Tanner. They were both trying to take it slow, but when the heart knows what it wants, it will not do slow.
Love mumma Shaw, a fantastic heart, but loves getting into mischief, she isn’t as patient as the others, but although she runs the household with precision, she is an excellent listener, with plenty of good advice.
I’d say Kelly Elliott definitely knocked it out the park, bringing you a slither of small-town life, the lives, trials and tribulations you get it all, and it makes for great reading. You become invested in the characters and want to know what’s going to happen next. Beautifully written I might have needed chocolate and tissues, more than once.
Good Enough is a small town, slow burn romance and the third title in the Meet Me In Montana series featuring the Timberlynn and Tanner, who were both featured in the previous title Always Enough as side characters.
Tanner and Timberlynn’s story is emotional and heartwarming, with plenty of humor, heat and steam.
Timberlynn has her fair share of insecurities due to childhood trauma, and is quite vulnerable when it comes to letting anyone into her heart. She’s quite cautious and hesitant when it comes to relationships.
Tanner wants a love like his parents and brothers have found. He’s a big hearted, and sweet cowboy who will melt your heart. When it comes to what he wants he’s driven and determined but infinitely patient.
The chemistry between this pair is undeniable and I loved seeing their relationship evolve.
The previous characters make cameos and I highly recommend reading the previous books in the series if you love cowboy romance.
Montana. I’ve never been to big sky country. It seems like it’s a place of dreams. Where you can get a second chance. Where you can fall in love with it’s scenery. It’s where you can find family and fall in love with a cowboy. At least that’s what Timberlynn found waiting for her in Montana. I love the Shaw family. It’s hard not to fall in love with them. They are all you want family to be. Can’t wait for the next book!
I read my first Kelly Elliot book, Wanted, years ago, and fell in love with her writing, her characters, and their stories in that series long before I was a book reviewer or blogger. At some point, I kind of lost track of her new books, but somehow found my way back to her with the Meet Me in Montana series. Good Enough is book three in this series. They are all written as standalone titles.
What I Liked Most About the Book: I think my most favorite thing about this book is how gobsmacked Tanner is. While he’s not afraid to admit that a relationship scares him, he’s the one most certain about wanting one with Timberlynn. The emotional rollercoaster ride Timberlynn takes him on doesn’t really deter him, either. He puts up with so much from her but never gives up. So many romance stories have the male protagonist in the role of not being sure and giving the female protagonist emotional whiplash that it was nice to have the shoe on the other foot so to speak.
NICUnurse’s Rating: I’ve loved all of the Shaw brothers, but after reading this book, I think Tanner is simply my favorite. And Good Enough showcases just how amazing the Shaw family is. They love big. Live loudly. And are fiercely loyal to those they consider to be like family. In a lot of ways, the Shaws remind me of my family, which made me love them even more. While Good Enough is a standalone book, I think reading all three books in order gives you so much more of a good understanding as to why I fell in love with all of the Shaws like they were my own family. Kelly Elliot writes characters that just beg you to fall in love with them and their stories, each and every time. I’m not so patiently looking forward to book four in the Meet Me in Montana series now!
I give Good Enough by Kelly Elliot 4.5 out of 5 stars!
