My all-time favorite book. A must-read!
When I read Gone with the Wind, I was captivated from the first sentence until the last. This is the mark of a great writer! Enjoy the ride!
Very difficult to stop reading. Good story and great scenes of all kinds.
Favorite book ever.
Although it’s been many years since I read this, I remember it being a sad time in American history. It is a sad reminder that we should never turn against one another over an issue that should have been resolved in a different manner. With love, instead of hate.
Amazing
Everything I know about the civil war I learned from this book 😉
I’ve read it many times. It’s a classic and must-read.
Although much time has passed since Gone with the Wind was published, in my opinion this is the most entertaining book of all time. The movie is excellent but the book far surpasses it due to the amount of story that had to be cut from the movie because of time constraints. As a history buff, this book brings the Old South to life once again. …

A breathtaking book and movie. I’ve read the book. The amendment to Scarlett’s character surprised me. So much more detail in the novel. A timeless story that continues to captivate as a work of tragic historical fiction.
The best book of the South ever written. You learn so much about life love and the Civil War era
I thought it was an amazing piece of historical fiction. I loved it as young girl, and have reread a few times since.
