Very suspenseful!
I really liked this book. It’s the first I’ve read by this author and became almost instantly engaged by the writing and the story. I especially liked when we found out about what happened with Roy’s daughter (no spoilers) – wasn’t expecting that, although I didn’t know what to expect. A fresh approach! Kept me reading when I should have been sleeping!
Ben Rehder does an excellfent job of keeping the reader intrigued as a man whose daughter was kidnapped searches for another young girl who seems to be missing. Only at the end is the fate of the videographer’s daughter revealed.
Excellent mystery, great characters, and great ending.
Fast paced. Couldn’t put it down.
Stumbled on this book on bookbub. Enjoyed it enough that I continued to the next book. It’s an easy read and I enjoy the characters.

great!
I liked the characters
Quick read. Witty dialogue, reminds me of the Jesse Stone mysteries.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was inspiring because the main character was determined about what he saw, even though others didn’t believe him. He did not give up on finding the child. It was good reading this book.
Fast paced. Kept my interest. Hard to put down.
I loved it
I really liked this one. I usually hate crime stories involving children, but this one wasn’t dark, wasn’t completely heartbreaking, but kept my attention just the same.
Nice change of pace mystery. Well writen
Fun read and just enough depth in characters.
Loved this character, Roy Ballard. Will look for him again.
