Great
I’ve read quite a few Cheryl Bradshaw’s books. Her books are very quickly read, you just don’t want to put the book down. I especially love her character Sloane Monroe, a female Private Investigator who get really wound up in the book and causes the turns and disclosures in the book.
Somehat predictable. Man tries to strongarm investigation, gets kicked out of town, girlfriend solves it.
Twisted ending.
Loved it
This is the 2nd book that I have read of this series; I also purchased her latest and finished it. Recommend as they are page-turner books.
One of my favorite authors
Oddly, the deranged man who hunted down Shelby apologized once he caught her. Nothing was the same. Nothing ever would be again.
Reviewing cases, the detectives came up with a few suspects. But the offender was clearly off, disproportionately violent and angry. Hidden relationships and secrets would come to light.
Twisted pain and anger aren’t any less lethal.
Major twists in characters and relationships- stunning.
A powerhouse of a read!
Cheryl’s books are intriguing and mysterious. This one was no exception. It was a quick read with interesting character interactions. It was fun watching the characters work through their relationships with each other, past and present.
Talk about starting out with a bang! The opening chapter of Gone Daddy Gone certainly grabs the attention of the reader and sets up the whodunit for this tale. This is my first read in this series and it is obvious that Sloane has a past, but I had no trouble following the story line. The book is well-written, the characters are interesting, and the pacing keeps the story moving quickly. We also get snippets from the bad guy that are a bit creepy and a nice addition to the story.
While it doesn’t take long to figure out the direction of the tale, the details were a surprise – at least to me. I can’t speak for those that are familiar with the series. Overall, this mystery pulled me in and held my interest throughout, and the characters are sufficiently interesting to have me looking up earlier books in the series.
I have read all Lianne Moriartys books and this one didn’t disappoint
This was a good book, worth your time reading it. It started with puzzle of a mirder and became a tragic story. Loved it.
The best in the Sloane Monroe series to date! Bradshaw grabs your attention in the first paragraph and takes you on a roller coaster that keeps you intrigued until the last paragraph.
I really enjoy all of her books. They are a must read for me!
This seventh book in the Sloane Monroe Series was less interesting, less believable, and not as interesting as the previous books. I did not like the subject matter of this book as much as the others to the point that the specifics are fading from my memory.
I like every book by Cheryl
Love the Sloane Monroe series!!
Gotta love Sloan Monroe!
This was my least favorite book in this series. Don’t like how it starts. It spends too much on their relationship, not mystery. Some unrealistic things, possibly… Not my favorite.
Enjoyed it. Well written.
I enjoy Cheryl Bradshaw; this one included.
