**The trilogy is complete! Binge read today.**The Gone Trilogy box set is a USA Today bestselling title. One poor decision will haunt her forever.Macy Mercer only wants a little independence. Eager to prove herself grown up, she goes to a dark, secluded park. She’s supposed to meet the boy of her dreams who she met online. But the cute fifteen year old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds … old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds herself face to face with Chester Woodran, a man capable of murder.
Distraught over his own missing daughter, Chester insists that Macy replace his lost girl. He locks Macy up, withholds food, and roughs her up, demanding that she call him dad. Under duress from his constant threats and mind games, her hold on reality starts to slip. Clinging to her memories is the only way of holding onto her true identity, not believing that she is Chester’s daughter. Otherwise she may never see her family again.
Gone is the first novel in the Gone saga, a trilogy of psychological suspense thrillers. If you enjoy page turning suspense with constant twists and turns, then you’ll love this nail-biting read by USA Today bestselling author, Stacy Claflin.
You may prefer reading the complete trilogy to have all three parts together. (Since the trilogy is about a single kidnapping, the story isn’t resolved in this part.)
Other books in the Gone Saga:
Held (#2)
Over (#3)
Dean’s List – Lydia’s story about being married to a serial killer.
No Return – Rusty is determined to prove his sister didn’t commit suicide… without getting himself killed in the process.
Girl in Trouble – Ten years after Gone, Alex must face his demons. (This begins the 8+ book Alex Mercer series.)

After reading book one for free I purchased the boxed set so I could continue reading them all without a break. Stayed up late many nights! One aspect I didn’t like was the result of the relationship between two characters that was not age appropiate. I felt that was thrown in and totally not necessary. The conflict it was there to represent could have been handled in a more realistic way.
The book is very predictable and kind of dragged out.
It should have been finished in one book, not ongoing into another book:
Disappointing!
Very intriguing plot, plan to purchase the other 2 books in the trilogy.
Needed some tighter editing-the author would describe the main character’s thoughts and feelings over and over again into redundancy.
The idea was good, but the delivery is repetitive. Often, support details are repeated and circled back to so that instead of the story unfolding, it sort of somersaults all over itself. There was an effort to develop the characters, but they were more stereotypes than complete original personas (for example, the book had the “typical teenager” and the “overworked dad” and the “stay at home mom”). It wasn’t a terrible book, but I’m not interested enough in reading the rest of the trilogy.
I really enjoyed this book and the teo others in the trilogy. I really had to work hard to try to get her home wondering the whole time whether or not she would ever get there. I did not write “disappointing” as my rating. I do not know who put that there. It is not the best book I have ever read but I will tell you that I was really tired trying to het her home and never thought it would be possible. I will not tell you how the trilogy ends but it is well worth reading.
Scary good read!
Want to read the next one
Didn’t like being forced to buy sequel
I liked it and bought the second and third book in this trilogy.
I read the 3 book series. Hard to put down!
finished and bought other 2 in series
Great book. buy the trilogy, it is less costly and you will want to read all 3.
Although I feel like this trilogy could have easily been combined into one book I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. Kept me interested the entire time!
I Great storyline. Very realistic and captivating. Good ending.
Easy to read and kept me reading through the whole trilogy, really good book
Little disappointed in the ending. However, loved the story line.
I thought it was a very “today” book. I read every day of several children missing in our state and adjoining states. I can’t imagine what the parents must feel. I have recommended this book to another Kindle reader.
Really felt the story was unfinished !
An absolutely riverting unpredictable tragic story which kept me on the edge.
