**The trilogy is complete! Binge read today.**The Gone Trilogy box set is a USA Today bestselling title. One poor decision will haunt her forever.Macy Mercer only wants a little independence. Eager to prove herself grown up, she goes to a dark, secluded park. She’s supposed to meet the boy of her dreams who she met online. But the cute fifteen year old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds … old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds herself face to face with Chester Woodran, a man capable of murder.
Distraught over his own missing daughter, Chester insists that Macy replace his lost girl. He locks Macy up, withholds food, and roughs her up, demanding that she call him dad. Under duress from his constant threats and mind games, her hold on reality starts to slip. Clinging to her memories is the only way of holding onto her true identity, not believing that she is Chester’s daughter. Otherwise she may never see her family again.
Gone is the first novel in the Gone saga, a trilogy of psychological suspense thrillers. If you enjoy page turning suspense with constant twists and turns, then you’ll love this nail-biting read by USA Today bestselling author, Stacy Claflin.
You may prefer reading the complete trilogy to have all three parts together. (Since the trilogy is about a single kidnapping, the story isn’t resolved in this part.)
Other books in the Gone Saga:
Held (#2)
Over (#3)
Dean’s List – Lydia’s story about being married to a serial killer.
No Return – Rusty is determined to prove his sister didn’t commit suicide… without getting himself killed in the process.
Girl in Trouble – Ten years after Gone, Alex must face his demons. (This begins the 8+ book Alex Mercer series.)

Some real holes in this for believability. Girl who is vegan (which seems to be the ONLY thing that matters to her) gets abdicated because she meets a boy online who really is a man. Could have seen that coming a mile away. No surprise there. She is supposed to be terrified but is worried about what food is being given to her? Really? Not to mention the cliffhanger at the end. I won’t continue with this series.
Those book is part 1 of a trilogy and it was a page turner. I did feel like it was drawn out a bit though and would have been just as good condensed down.
I wish that I bought the trilogy.
Gone – Another well written, suspense filled novel about a kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl and the efforts that went into the search for her. From the beginning of the book, the words just flowed quickly and the reader just can’t put down the book on this horrible topic. Unfortunately, there’s two more books before the end of the story.
Gone – What a book! Another well written, suspense filled novel about a kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl and the efforts that went into the search for her. Dean’s List – Dean’s List – A well written, suspense story about Lydia and Dean, two characters from another novel Gone, and is set a year later. There is adultery, a control freak, a possible serial killer and the lives a gaggle of friends share facing intrigue and suspense. Most of the characters are from the Gone Trilogy neighborhood. I contacted the author to review her book.
Amazing book….can’t wait to read the next one in the series….
Enjoy it while it lasts; book one is the only good book.
A come on to buy the next book-totally incomplete-
and poorly written-
Enjoyed the mystery of it
Excellent book. Could not put it down.
I enjoyed reading this book it was like watching a lifetime movie with a little more substance but be warned that it is the first in a trilogy so you’ll have to purchase the others to know what happens next, I didn’t so I was left in limbo. I don’t like series television just as much as I don’t like trilogies.
Did not like the way it left you.
Too short disappointed
I liked it so much that I now have all three in that series. Very hard to put down.
This was an easy book to get into and connect with the characters. After finishing it I immediately ordered the other two in the trilogy.
Good book. I was happy to see there was a second and third follow-up book. I am now reading the second. I didn’t like the fact that this one ended the way it did. It never gave you a clue as to what happened with the family. Think this one will be better.
Loved it. Hated to wait thro 3 books foe conclusion.
I loved the book and the way the characters unfolded. If you like a good read, this is it but don’t count on liking the ending. You have to read the next book to find out how it turns out.
I didn’t give this a 5 star rating as I thought the ending was a little predictable.
Wow! Really gets you involved! Read it!
Every teenage girl should read this!
