Love blossoms in the most unexpected of places in this sweet and steamy Cursed Ravens Motorcyle Club title featuring a hunky bad boy and a charming nurse. The men might tease Rogue and call him pretty behind his back, but no one is going to say that to his face. As the vice president of the Cursed Ravens–and with an unpredictable and unruly temper–respect is given to him at any cost. But … any cost.
But Rogue reins himself in when he visits his mother in a local nursing home. Overwhelmed with guilt that he can’t take care of her himself, he can barely handle watching her fade away with dementia. And he knows the staff is exceptional–especially the sweet and beautiful caregiver who pays extra attention to his mom.
It isn’t easy working at a nursing home, but Zoe enjoys spending time with her favorite patient Anne. She knows Anne has a son who dutifully visits her, but when Zoe sees the tall, muscled, handsome stranger, she can tell he’s trouble–beautiful trouble. She knows he’s a Cursed Raven and she knows better than to admit she’s attracted to him. There’s no way she’ll date an MC member. Been there done that. But as Zoe and Rogue start to get closer, they realize one way or another, they’ll have to fight to stay in each other’s lives.

I really, really enjoyed this book, it held me captivated from the beginning. Rogue is the VP of the Cursed Ravens MC and women think he’s just a pretty face with a voice that is pure gold but there are facets that only his closest friends know about. He has to make a tough decision and put his mother in a care facility because she has dementia and she can no longer be on her own. Zoe isn’t supposed to have favorites at the care facility that she works in but Mrs. K is her favorite patient. She is a spitfire, but she also has dementia and a heart condition which is slowly killing her. Unbeknownst to her Mrs. K is Rogue’s mom. They meet, Rogue and Zoe, and it’s explosive from the beginning but only as a friendship.
This story takes you on an emotional journey and they both have to make hard decisions. Will their budding relationship survive these decisions? I hope this isn’t the end of this series. I want more Cursed Ravens!!
Once again Chantal Fernando delivers an MC with heat, heart, and an abundance of swoon. This just series gets better and better with every addition! Going Rogue had me hooked from the start with Zoe’s sweetness and Rogue’s bad boy biker sexiness. These two total opposites have scorching chemistry from the second they meet and that heat only intensifies as time goes on.
Like nearly every member of the MC, Rogue is someone who’s had me intrigued from the beginning. Insanely sexy, along with having a great sense of humor and a soft side that melts your heart the man is flat out irresistible. Zoe seems like the opposite of who Rogue would end up with but these two fit together perfectly in a way that had me sighing in happiness.
Zoe is the epitome of good girl. Straight laced and living what some would say a rather boring life. She has walls up after being burned by the last guy she was with. But what walls could possibly stand against a man like Rogue? Him and Zoe are actually really sweet together even with the delicious heat they put off making for a couple that you can’t help but love!
This is the 3rd book in this series, and can be read as a standalone, but i’d highly recommend reading the first two books, Ace of Hearts and Knuckle Down as you will love the familiarity of the Characters!
This is Rogue and Zoe’s story and and we know for our hot sexy bikers, Love is never easy. A Chance meets can really change lives and perceptions. When Zoe comes into contact for the first time with Rogue, she knows this is a bad boy she really should avoid, even if he is the hottest of guys and the first man in a long time that even intrigues her. Rogue isn’t a man that will take his time in chasing down exactly what he wants, and Zoe is what he wants !!!
I really loved this book, the relationship between Rogue and Zoe just captured me right from the start. This wasn’t insta love, yes there was definitely instant attraction and Lust !!! This made for a steamy combustible read! One i couldn’t set down. Zoe’s reluctance to become involved in Biker Life, held her back, Rogue’s determination to see her overcome that fear just melted my heart. But this book is also so much more, my heart was, at times in bits. The Relationship with Rogue and his mother just had me in tears with his devotion. His mother had me in both tears and laughter. What i did want, was to shove Zoe out of the way and claim that man myself !!!! He really is the perfect Bad Boy with the biggest of Hearts. I really liked Zoe, she was a girl that was just so real and down to earth, she could be any one of us and i found my self really rooting for her. When Zoe is put in an impossible situation my heart twisted, and i knew this was something that would possibly destroy them both, their life would be changed and I really hoped they would survive it!! This biker and his biker family will have you hooked, the kind of family we would all love and want! I can’t wait for more from this author, Super Writing and brilliant story telling !!!
Going Rogue will have you falling in love with these two characters. As Rogue is trying to come to terms with his Mum’s dementia and having to rely on the staff at the nursing home to give her the care she needs, he stumbles across Zoe who might just be the light in his darkness. As these two are drawn to each other, the ride won’t always be smooth and Zoe will need to decide if this is a life she wants to be a part of. As drama, death and some absolutely hilarious moments are experienced with this story, it will be the passion and connection between Rogue and Zoe that will hold you captive until the very end.
These guys just keep getting better and better. Once again the author has written a wonderful storyline that is not only romantic (MC Style) but has a very meaningful message woven in. The story is heartbreaking at times and heartwarming in others. It will take your emotions on a whirlwind tour but it is soooooo worth it.
Rouge is just to sexy and too good for his own good. Oh don’t get me wrong, the man can be a total badass when called for (after all he is the VP for the Cursed Ravens) and he has the temper to go along with it but when it comes to those he loves he’s compassionate and very protective. Especially with his mother, as she has heart problems and alzheimer’s. In fact when he puts her in a new facility is where he meets Zoe, one of his mother’s new caregivers. The spark is there but Zoe’s past has her very leery of Rouge. She isn’t a one and done kind of gal. But one ride on his bike convinces them both the other is worth getting to know.
But when events lead to arrests, tragedy, and all around pain, will Rogue and Zoe make it through it or will it be the final straw that separates them? I love this series and the guys of the Cursed Ravens and their women. It’s never a dull moment, with lots of Love, Laughs and Wild times. 2 Thumbs Up for a great addition to the series. And this reader is hoping the series goes on. Highly Recommend.
I love MC books, I love alpha heroes. But more than anything, I love a book that evokes true emotions in the reader. I just don’t have the words to accurately describe the feelings and emotions brought about by this book! From the very beginning, I could tell that this book would be a tear jerker, one that would bring out emotions like very few books really do. I had a feeling that this book would tear me apart, before putting me back together again. And I was right!
Rogue is the VP of the Cursed Ravens MC. He is having to watch the mother he idolizes, the strong woman that raise him and his 2 brothers on her own, deteriorate due to dementia and health problems. To watch such a strong woman be brought down low, is heart breaking. And to know how hard that is on those that love her, well, it just tears me apart. Zoe is Rogue’s mother’s caregiver, in the assisted living facility that she has been placed in. She loves being able to care for others, and it seems that there is a soft spot in her heart for this woman. Zoe has a beautiful, giving heart, and it’s clear in her every action.
There was so much going on in this book, so many questions, so much that could go wrong. Can Zoe deal with who Rogue is, the kind of life he leads? Is she strong enough to stand beside him when he needs her to? And then there are things I never anticipated. I was totally blown away by this book, by the emotions, by the amazing story of Rogue and Zoe. This is definitely one that will go on my re-read list, and my favorite out of the series!
Going Rogue is the third book of the Cursed Ravens series. It can be read perfectly as a standalone.
Zoe is a sweet nurse who works in a nursing home. She meets Rogue, a swoon worthy MC VP, who is there to visit his mother. The two spark right away and have incredible chemistry. They complement each other well, and bond over their love for Anne, Zoe’s favorite patient and Rogue’s mother.
Overall, I loved Going Rogue. Zoe pulled me in right away. Her sweet and caring nature is easy to fall in love with. I found their story to be paced well, and one I did not want to put down. Their story made me giggle, but was also more emotional than I expected, I enjoyed the balance. I would recommend to the reader looking for a lighter MC read.
*4.5 Star Review*
Going Rogue is the 3rd book in the Cursed Ravens MC.
I’ve been dying to read Rogue’s book since the beginning, and Chantal didn’t disappoint.
Rogue is the Cursed Ravens sexy VP.
His sick mother was put in an aged care facility were Zoe works. Zoe and Mrs K (Rogue’s mum) have formed somewhat of a friendship.
Zoe and Rogue’s first encounter was quite funny. Things from there get interesting between the two, they are made for eachother. Their connection is beautiful. Zoe’s only concern is can she stand by Rogue and his MC when all hell breaks loose.
Fantastic read
3.75 stars–GOING ROGUE is the third instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult CURSED RAVENS erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Cursed Ravens MC. This is Cursed Ravens MC VP Ezekiel ‘Rogue’ Kennedy, and nurse’s aide Zoe Kane. GOING ROGUE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The CURSED RAVENS MC series is a spin off from the author’s WIND DRAGONS MC. There is a slight cross-over with some of the characters of the previous series.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Zoe and Rogue) GOING ROGUE follows the building relationship between Cursed Ravens MC VP Ezekiel ‘Rogue’ Kennedy, and nurses aid Zoe Kane. Zoe Kane works as a nurse’s aide, and has befriended Mrs. K, a woman suffering with dementia who at times thinks clear enough to let Zoe know just how she feels. Meeting Mrs. K’s son, biker and Cursed Ravens MC vice president Rogue Kennedy, finds Zoe falling for a man whose love for his mother sets off the warm and fuzzy for our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship between Zoe and Rogue, and the potential fall-out as Zoe comes clean with a secret, a secret that could destroy Ezekiel Kennedy.
The attraction between Rogue and Zoe is immediate but Zoe has been burned in the past by another biker, a member of a rival gang. Rogue’s pursuit of Zoe is sweet including their lunch-time picnics, and introduction to the MC. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Rogue’s mother Anne Kennedy, a once feisty and strong woman who is slowly succumbing to dementia and age. Zoe’s sister Vanessa is a fascinating character-an over the top, colorful and charismatic thirty-year old woman who is drawn to the Cursed Ravens’ president, like a moth to a flame. The camaraderie between Zoe, Vanessa, Erin and Celina is fun, fast and furious!
GOING ROGUE is a story of family and friendships; secrets and betrayal; passion and love. Most of the MC dealings and business transactions/jobs occur behind the scenes resulting in a ‘vanilla’ and softer MC story- the violence and danger are taken for granted; we are not privy to the how and why of some of the events, and the quick resolution without any details was disappointing. The epilogue fast-forwards the story line approximately three years. Let’s hope the author fills in the missing time-line with future stories. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is seductive and sweet ; the characters are dynamic and colorful. GOING ROGUE is a sexy, sassy and spirited story line with an emotional and heart breaking undercurrent of dementia and loss.
Rogue is the only son close enough to visit his mother suffering from dementia. A tough situation that even a big bad MC VP has trouble dealing with. Zoe, her caregiver in the nursing home, is the one bright spot.
Rogue is a player. Never been tempted to settle–then Zoe enters his life. She isn’t into biker club members. One bad experience is enough. Until Rogue. His patience and their friendship are fun to watch. Their growing relationship is hot, yet caring. I fell for both characters. It was fun to catch up with the rest of the club.
Not all is going well, not only his mom’s illness, the club is under a magnifying glass by the local police. They are trying to find out if there is a mole and if so, who! Zoe’s crazy big sis has contacts with a hot, successful attorney. They are gonna need. (Her sis is a such a kick. She needs her own story)
I loved the book from page one to THE END. Don’t miss it. The entire series is entertainment gold.

Woohoo! Finally, Rogue is here!
I have been impatiently awaiting Rogue’s story from the minute I started reading Ace Of Hearts, and Ms Fernando has not disappointed.
In the previous books, we know something is going on with his mother, and now we find out all the whole kit and kaboodle.
We actually meet our leading lady Zoe before we see Rogue in this book, and right from the start she grabs you by the heart and doesn’t let go. She is stuck in a rut and nothing seems to be able to drag her out.
Until Rogue. They have a mutual acquaintance in his mother. Oh, how she broke my heart.
I couldn’t help but be Zoe and Rogue’s biggest cheerleader. They just need to be together. It has to happen!
I freaking adore all the Cursed Raven ladies – I liked them in their own books, but together they sure are a force to be reckoned with!
Heartbreaking, emotional, beautiful. Ms Fernando had me gripped by this story from the first word to the last.
I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.
Loved it!! How can you not love a sexy as h*ll bad*ss biker who is tough enough to be the VP of the Cursed Ravens MC and yet everyday visit his ailing mother in a nursing home. It’s there he meets the feisty nurse who is caring for his mother. Zoe is everything good but even good girls like bad boys.
This story is one that I couldn’t put down. I loved the persistence and caring of Rouge for a woman he knew was worth every minute of it. Their chemistry was crazy good. Another bonus was Zoe’s sister, Vanessa who was absolutely hilarious.
Everyone around him is starting to begin their forever’s and Rogue has to admit he is a little envious, they have all found women who bring out the best in them, and for the first time in his life he’s really begun to crave that too… but the right woman just hasn’t come along yet. He’s got a mile long track record with women, and many of them would have loved to become his old lady, but none of them made it past the first night. Then while visiting his ailing mother at the nursing home, he runs into a beautiful angel that sparks something inside him that he never knew existed, and that’s when he knows he’s just found his forever. The problem is she doesn’t date bikers, she’s been there and done that and doesn’t plan to do that again… but she’s never met a man like him, when he wants something he doesn’t give up until he has it!
She’s heard all the nurses rave about Rogue, he’s handsome, sweet, and score lots of points with the other nurses because of how good he is to his mother… but until she witnesses it for herself she can’t seem to fathom what all the fuss is about. Then she meets him, and she instantly knows he is every bit as admirable as the ladies have made him out to be… and then some! Then she learns that he belongs to a MC club, and that changes things for her, she dated a biker and it didn’t end well for her heart, so it’s probably wise if she keeps her distance from him… but Rogue didn’t seem to take the hint she threw out. He continually keeps showing up and brightening her day, and before long he’s rocking her nights too, and she soon realizes she can’t save heart from him… he’s made himself right at home there and for the first time in a long time, it feels right to have someone there. But then tragedy strikes and her heart immediately feels the need to flee…
Between the pages of Going Rogue you will meet a man that has the power to bring you to your knees with just a look, lure you in with his smile, and completely steal your heart with his voice. Rogue is the The Cursed Ravens vice president, and while you would expect him to be a tough and dominating man, there is also a tender-hearted man there too, one with the voice of an angel and a heart of gold. The moment I met him in the first installment of this series, I knew he was going to be the one to get to me the most, and boy did he ever, he is every bit the alpha I expected him to be, but he also has this caring nature about him that shows through in everything he does, and that is what sealed the deal for me! His journey to finding his forever was a bittersweet one, he lost the most important woman in his life, but before she left him she gifted him the woman who would change his life and give him the future he craved, and I have to say it was quite beautiful thing to witness!
Ms. Fernando really outdid herself with these characters in this new series, I have loved meeting the men of the Cursed Ravens MC, and really hope there are more stories to come in this series, because I am just not ready to say goodbye to them yet!! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it’s a heart-wrenching tale that will leave an unshakable smile on your face, and an indelible impression on your heart!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
I really like this series. It is more about relationships and light on the MC. While I like this story a little less than the first two books, it is still a nice story. Rogue is going through a rough time and Zoe is there to help. They start out as friends and it grows into love – a nice change of pace. The only issue I had is that Rogue is too perfect. I like a little flaw in the characters. I still would love a story featuring Gage.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
