I was moved by the main character’s loss. She struggled with the death of her husband and trying to do the right thing for herself and her !over ones. There was also a little mystery as well.
Very good book. It was easy to pick up and resume reading after you have laid it down even for a day or two. The blending of families was handled beautifully, and in many cases quite accurately. This book shows what someone can accomplish if they set a goal and stay focused. Thanks again for a great book.
Very well written and paced to keep you involved. This was my first book written by Pamela Fagan Hutchins but will certainly not be my last!
Interesting read that leaves a memory.
I especially enjoyed this book because I live in the small town where they cycled
this book took on a haunting note within a few chapters and really kept me guessing up till the end. Great characters vividly portrayed.
Meh
Bitterwsweet; an original plot that holds your attention.
I really wanted to like this book. The characters are well written and I could feel the emotions of the main character. Unfortunately, there was not really an ending. The book just stopped. There were so many unanswered questions, so many opportunities to take the book in interesting directions and it didn’t happen. I’m not a reader who has to …
I would highly recommend this book. It was refreshingly original and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
For those Alice Hoffman fans who appreciate the magical moments that crop up in the lives of perfectly believable characters.
This book had a mother through several hard years of her life. I have just gotten back from Hawaii and saw some of the book places. Enjoyed it because it could really be truth
Although my personal physician is a tri-athlete, I’ve never understood why people devote their time and strength to this torture. At 78, I’ll never catch the bug, but this author has given me a glimpse of this special world.
After four chapters of mundane thoughts and conversations I put it down and do not intend to pick it up ever.
Readable, but not riveting.
I wanted to finish it and didn’t want it to end at the same time.
An excellent read!
Pretty good read. A little unpredictable. Took me a while to catch onto the main character’s visualizations to protect herself. A good mystery.
I really appreciated the family follow through.
Loved it!
