Liked reading this as I was just in Kona in January…plus I live just 3 hours from Houston! Great personal connection to content.
I read this because have been to Kong a couple of times and try to watch the
of the IronMan via tv. So so book but better than I expected.
Having been to Kona for the Iron Man marathon, I thought this book was interesting to see what the athletes actually go through, the mystery was an added bonus.
Slow moving. Unrealistic
This was a fun book to read. Likable characters and entertaining
Spending time in Kona each year, I wanted to read the book. It was very well written and we too enjoy Splashers Grill in Kona.
After a slow start (about 25%) of the book, it got good enough for me to finish it. It just wasn’t anything particularly memorable and probably too much of a chick book for my tastes.
Intense
Loved that much of the action took place in Kona, Hawaii. I lived there and know the area. It was realistic about the Ironman.
I enjoyed the story about family and loyalty and great twist at the end. Lead character was a lot stronger than she thought she was.
It was OK…I enjoy crime fiction. This one i did not. It was frustrating due to the main characters lack of communication. Extremely frustrating actually. Not a smooth read!
Did not know how to pronounce thenames and found that distracting
Emotion packed mystery that will keep your heart pounding and your imagination engaged looking for the culprit while cheering on the heroine.
It made me want to read all of the books written by this author and I did
First book I read by this author. It was great looking forward to reading more
This book was a page turner!
Too long!
Too detailed regarding Ironman prep.
The premise of doing something inspirational in memory of a loved one is good. The main characters are well-rounded but the others were not. And the plot twist that reveals the murderer is an unexpected twist, but makes it more tragic than completing the story.
Excellent thriller. Once you start won’t be able to put it down.
