I loved this book.
Liked this book. It kept me reading.
Well done.
I liked this book. I really like this author in general. Her books are easy to read and well paced. I liked that the main “hero” in this story isn’t your typical “perfect” alpha male. He brings a refreshing realism to the story. I liked that the heroine was compassionate and understanding and real.
Loved the book and the characters
Great book ! Loved the series !!
Can’t wait to read rest of series!
Loved this book. Liked the mental health spin and accuracy of portrayal. You won’t be disappointed. This is a great escape book.
Really enjoyed this book. Not your typical ‘romance’ novel. Touched quite accurately on mental health issues, in a realistic way, not negative. Had romance, a HEA and concluded in one book. I will most definitely read more in this series.
As always, Carly delivers—have loved each of her books!
Good story with realistic challenges
This book was quite the eye opener for me. I was well aware of bi-polar issues and OCD but not on the day to day level that book let us see. I also lived with a family member with depression issues and it has many faces that knows no bounds and can be very ugly and devastating. Two people somehow finding a way to overcome, fight through and stay strong for themselves and those they love was very inspirational.
I always enjoy reading Carly Phillips I love her creativity and her characters Give Carly a try. You will become a fan too
Never read one of her books that I didn’t like!
Lexie Parker needs this new job but rumor has it that Kaden Barnes goes through personal assistants on a weekly bases. She’s determined to be on top of things and give him no reason to fire her. Meeting the incredibly handsome and enigmatic man may make it difficult but she can’t let her personal feelings enter into the equation. Her life is seldom her own with the responsibility she has to her twin sister.
Kaden Barnes knows he can be difficult, with the issues he puts his PA’s through but when he meets the newest hire he knows what he wants and the alpha boss man always gets what he wants. Lexie is organized and efficient to a fault and the passion between the two quickly becomes incendiary.
When his past threatens everything he’s worked for and the relationship he’s desperate to protect Kaden will make the ultimate sacrifice for love.
“Going Down Easy” (nook) is a raw and heartbreaking look at mental health problems through a couple with their own issues. Carly Phillips courageously presents depression, anxiety and bi-polar individuals in a loving and tasteful manner. Thank you for the marvelous book.
Carly Phillips delivers another home run! I LOVED this book so much. I could not put this book down. Carly did a great job of showing both Lexie and Kade dealing with some sort of mental health problem in their lives. It gave them the ability sense what the other needed when they were having a bad time. At times I felt like my heart was breaking for Kade either in situations out in public (specifically how he orders his drinks) knowing his friends/business associates are watching how specific he is or when he slowly reveals parts of himself to Lexie, feeling out of control at the club or when things were not orderly. I loved how they both took care of each other. This book delivers on every level. I laughed, I cried and I cheered. (I really got emotional at the end). I always enjoy the strong friendships that Carly creates. I’m always a little sad when a series ends but no worries because Carly always gives us something even better. (I love how Ian Dare made a small appearance…Hi Ian! LOL). I received a complimentary copy for an honest review but I have a copy pre-ordered but I’ve still have my pre-order in!!!! Cannot wait for book 2!
Light and easy read.
would read all of her books.fantastic writrt

Going Down Easy was the first book in the Billionaire Bad Boys series by Carly Phillips.
Kaden Barnes was a successful entrepreneur. He started Blink, a tech app, with two of his college best friends and they were now billionaires. He was gorgeous, a genius, geeky and quirky with ADHD and anxiety disorders. He also had baggage from his past. As a result, he was demanding, brooding, hard to work with and distrusting.
Lexie Parker was a twin. She was smart, beautiful and loyal. But she was also the full time care giver for her bi-polar twin. As a result, it was difficult to keep a job and impossible to have a life.
Lexie needed a job, again. One of her father’s business investments needed an executive assistant so she was starting over again. Kaden Barnes ran off every assistant. He was fortunate if they lasted a week. Enter Lexie. She needed this job and she was willing to go toe to toe with Kaden to keep it.
I liked the premise of the story. Phillips developed the relationship but she also brought living with mental illness to the forefront. She painted the picture of the real life struggle and the impact on those around them. It brought a human aspect into the storyline for added depth and dimension.
In the end, it was a quick and enjoyable read. Kaden’s business partners, Lucas and Derek, will complete the series. I loved the loyalty and bantering among the three. Lucas is up next in Going Down Fast.
