Former Marine Jacob Tinney found a new life within the Rebel Wayfarers MC in Fort Wayne. The club’s members took in Jacob, known as Jock, watched over him as their own, and sustained him with reasons to hold his PTSD at bay for another day.Into this good life sashayed Silly, Sylvia Perez, a quirky tattoo artist, friend of the club, and woman who hid so much of herself behind a façade. Jock was … Jock was first intrigued, then enamored, and finally, consumed with lust—and love.
But when Silly is offered the chance of a lifetime to run her own tattoo shop down near the Big Easy, there’s little he can do except tell her goodbye. Until an unexpected suggestion comes his way.
What if he could keep the brotherhood of a club, the camaraderie he needed, and transfer that to another patch?
Could he leave the RWMC and patch over?
Going Down Easy is a crossover book between the Rebel Wayfarers MC and the Incoherent MC (from the Neither This Nor That book series).

“I hated sleeping these past weeks, didn’t want to miss a moment with you. Didn’t matter I was gonna dream of you.”
What’s better than reading about a favorite fictional motorcycle club? The chance to spend time with the members of several favorite motorcycle clubs all at the same time. Yup, I got to have my cake and eat it too! Thanks, MariaLisa deMora…sigh.
Jock can’t hide from his past. It’s visible in his scars and his PTSD. His RWMC saved him when he was struggling after his time in the military. His brothers are his family and he never thought there’d be anything or anyone that could make him leave Fort Wayne and his brothers.
Silly and Jock are going strong when life throws a monkey wrench into things. When she is offered the opportunity of a lifetime how could he stand in the way of her dreams? But, at the same time, what happens to his dreams of a life with her?
The author has a beautiful way with dialogue that makes me feel the words as if I can actually hear them. Somehow the character’s pain and emotion, tone, and inflection come across so clearly. Her words move me, every time. I love how she weaves the lives of her characters into a tightly formed web of experiences and trust. Life takes them in and out of each other’s immediate circle time and again but they remain bonded in friendship and brotherhood so strong that I feel it through the pages.
With so many of her character’s stories intertwined through several different series, it’s a Win/win no matter which one you’re reading. But, it is always best to go in order so you don’t miss out on what’s said without words and hidden between the lines. The history they share and the connection that’s felt rather than explained. Just telling you about it makes me want to go back and start over again. I’m excited to see where she takes us next. The line forms here…
Jock and Silly have the kind of love everyone wants or should have! The crossover with MCs is brilliant, giving you some Mason, Gunny, Twisted, Wildman and Po’Boy. If you haven’t read the Rebels or NTNT..WHY NOT?!?! Reading the series will make everything fall in to place for you. I absolutely love MariaLisa’s mind and where she takes you with her writing. You will want to be a part of the MC family, and will laugh, get angry and yes, even ugly cry. PTSD is a real part of so many lives and MariaLisa nails it perfectly! 10 stars from me!
Loved Jock & Silly together. When we first met Jock I really wanted him to find a home with RWMC and then when he did we wanted him to find love. Silly is perfect for Jock and I loved finally getting her story fleshed out and having her find the love she deserved. As good things happen to this couple so come the challenges. What do you do when the person you love has an unbelievable opportunity? Well if you’re a man like Jock you support them and help them achieve it, even if it costs you. Enter two of my favorite men, Mason & Twisted. There is no way these two are going to leave a brother hanging. Together they will make sure Jock has what he needs so he can give Silly what she needs. Great addition to the RWMC & Incoherents MC stories!
MLD always manages to surprise me with the wonderful, crazy characters she manages to introduce into my life. Jacob “Jock” Tinney Is a former Marine who found a new life within the Rebel Wayfarers MC in Fort Wayne. Sylvia “Silly” Perez is a friend of the club and a tattoo artist. As Jock fights his way living with PTSD, he manages to find his happy with Silly. Even though Silly lives in Chicago and Jock is in fort Wayne, they manage to find a good life with each other. When Silly is given the chance of a lifetime to run her own shop in New Orleans, the Rebels fight for this couple to keep their happy. Happy means everything to these people and I flove how they work it out. Between Mason, Slate, Twisted, Po’ Boy and Wrench the situation is always fluid. As Jock works to keep his happy with Silly, another RWMC and Incoherent MC crossover is born.
Boy does it go down easy …..
First I need to clarify that I’m a huge fan of Marialisa De Mora. Her style of writing is smart, nuanced and subtle. I can hear her characters speaking in my head when I read her books. And Going Down Easy is no exception to that. This story follows the war traumatized Jock and his calming muse, Silly. Life’s unexpected turns puts their bond at risk, but the fates, and those that love them, have other plans. I love Jock’s strong yet fractured exterior; it plays well with Silly’s calming, loving presence. She’s the Ying to his Yang. The story of their journey to the HEA, is steady, engaging and immersive. You can’t help but root for them. Another great addition to her library of MC books, and a great way to tie two series together. Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed reading this book.
The story was very well written and kept my attention.
Jock and Silly had very hot and steamy chemistry.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book from an
advanced reader copy.
When one of your favorite authors goes and offers her current completed book (ARC) to one of her groups that you have the honor of being a part of, you don’t just say yes, you say Hell Yes!
Gimme! Gimme!
This story is such a big beautiful love story. I absolutely loved the Cross-over storyline. The characters of Jock and Silly are very well-written. The story and the characters keep you entertained and you find yourself not able to place your reader down.
I am such a huge fan of the Rebel Wayfarers MCs and it was such a pleasure to read more of some of the best past characters and their families in this amazing Book .
If you want to start this incredibly written series, you will need to start at book one with Mica and hold on for one hell of a time!
I highly recommend this Author and all of her amazing stories!
Going Down Easy is a crossover and gives a glimpse in to both MC’s the Rebel Wayfarers MC and Incoherent MC . Jock and Silly story has you on an emotional high from start to finish and will leave you wanting more. After being given an opportunity of a lifetime Silly has to make a decision that could change her relationship with Jock after coming to the realisation that he can’t be without her Jock decided she his one. This book is about love respect and brotherhood. Ride the highs and lows with these two as they head towards their future.
Going Down Easy is a crossover novel between the Rebel Wayfarers MC and Incoherent MC. And just to say, any time I get to spend with Mason and Slate is a great time in my book (pun intended).
Jock and Silly’s story begins as a promise to not fall in love. Jock struggles with PTSD after a horrible accident overseas. Silly, a tattoo artist with a heart of gold, has been a part of the RWMC for years. As Jock and Silly’s relationship progresses farther than they had intended, they’re hit with a heartbreaking decision.
Jock realizes how deep his feelings run for Silly, but he is torn between his loyalty to the MC, who turned family, that saved him and the woman he’s come to fall deeply in love with.
This is another story that MLD has caught me in, turning each page hoping the characters do what I want them to. They hardly ever do (which is the magic of MLD’s writing), but in this story Jock and Silly did everything I wanted them to.
Side note: I’ve always loved the connection between Silly and Slate and I’m so happy we got to explore that more in this book.
Going Down Easy is a crossover novel and with this book you get the best of both worlds. A little time with the Rebels and a little time with Incoherent, or in my case a little more time with Twisted. Jock and Silly’s story is one of sacrifice, love and loyalty. However when you are torn between love and loyalty, knowing what is the right sacrifice might be the hardest choice that Jock will ever have to make. Their story is highly emotional and one that will have your chest tight and feeling anxious not knowing what this former marine and MC brother will do to finally get the ending that he so deserves. These two characters stole my heart within the first chapter and took me on a powerful impassioned journey that at times had me close to tears. My heart soared to the moon and back as love radiated from the pages from the soul deep connection that could be felt between Jock and Silly. Jock showed us that sometimes it is worth it.
MariaLisa builds characters you can believe in. This book takes two of her MC worlds and has them mesh (not collide) for the good of an RWMC member and the woman he loves. The book has a few surprises if it has been awhile since you have read the RWMC or the NTNT series, yet it is great to hear how things are progressing in those worlds. It was like a family reunion for me and I love my family!
What I really enjoyed was seeing the world’s of the RWMC, IMC and CoBos crossing over. It’s like the ice cream on the cake…… The cover grabbed my attention immediately . Jock, a former Marine with PTSD found a new life with the RWMC in Fort Wayne.
Enter Silly, a quirky tattoo artist. They not only have a chemistry but they really do complete each other. When Silly gets an offer, chance of a lifetime offer, to run her own shop all the way down near the Big Easy, it makes them realize they have fallen in love.
ML DeMora has once again sucked me in to her world and I feel so rooted as they soak into my heart and soul. Can’t wait for more!!!
Reading Jock and Silly is like a beautifully choreographed dance between new partners. In the beginning things are tense and uncertain. Neither wants to make a misstep; caution is the name of the game. As the pair becomes more comfortable in their places, with their responsibilities to their partner, with the longings and desires, expectations, things begin to heat. Body’s move faster and get closer. The ability to recognize the others move before it happens. Seeing the excitement in their eyes when that move they struggled with becomes flawless. Knowledge that together they can own this dance.
I could keep going but it’d be a waste and you should be reading Going Down Easy!
Jock and Silly work together so well. I couldn’t have been more excited when I heard that we were getting a book for Jock. If any Rebel(or future Rebel) deserved it it was Jock. If any Rebel deserved someone to help him make a new life with bright new chapters to block out the dark past it’s Jock. And Silly is fabulously perfect for him. She flows so well with him. Knowing that he’s worth taking that chance on, because not only is she extremely talewbut she’s an incredible strong woman who is worth every mile traveled.
Reading these chapters and realizing where Silly was ending up… where Jock was going to end up, seeing some friendly faces. It’s damn near a family reunion. I couldn’t have asked for more.
For years I have wanted Silly’s (the tattooist for the RWMC of Chicago) story. She was a peripheral character in a number of books in the original series, enough that I got attached to her. Jock holds scars from his time in the Marines, but the RGMC and Silly have helped to pull him through. Together they found happy, but then Silly gets an opportunity she can’t say no to.
This story made me feel so many emotions, highs and lows. And MLD does an amazing job at writing brotherhood. I don’t know of another author who makes you feel it the way she does.
This book links 2 of her series (RWMC and Neither This Nor That) and is best read where it fits into the series, but that is not a requirement to enjoy this story.
Jock and Silly have the love most kill for but she is given an opportunity she can’t turn down . Now these two have to make some choices and with some help from Mason and Twisted from the IMC, Jock and Dilly can have the life they both want more than anything.
I cried, I loved this book with everything I have in me because of the brotherhood the Rebels have and the brotherhood the IMC have!!
Loving this new series
Emotional beautiful broken intense heart stopping love story of Jock and silly
Can wait for more of his brothers and new family
Jock and Silly
Loved their story.some parts gave me tears. some have me laughter and happiness
This is a great read.loved their story.
Great chemistry between characters. Loved the push and pull. No cliffhanger and Hea. Love finding a way to always work around life’s obstacles.
Loved Jock and Silly. Jock is a former Marine, has been dealing with PTSD and is a member of the RWMC. He meets Silly who is a club friend and tattoo artist. Things just click between the two of them. An instant connection-chemistry. The more time Jock spends with her the less his PTSD hits. He knows he wants a relationship with her. That she is good for him. But doesn’t know how it will all play out with him there with the RWMCs and her in New Orleans when she gets a job offer too good to pass up. But his MC brotherhood makes an astounding compromise/offer that shows just how far they will go to help a brother find the happiness he deserves.
Jock’s life hasn’t been easy. After leaving the military he has scars that can’t be hidden and he suffers from PTSD. His RWMC brothers saved him and has become his only family and that was all he needed. Brothers standing by him no matter what…And then he meets Silly it seems like his demons are finally quieting down.
Silly is a renownend tattoo artist and her life revolved around giving people peace by giving them tattoo’s that for some makes them feel whole again, for others it tells a story of what their life is like. And when she met Jock what was suppose to be a some fun, turned into something so much more. And now finally when she has everything she ever wanted, fate steps in and is wanting her to choose between her passion and the love of her life.
