Second book in the series of adopted boys who find out in their adulthood that they are adopted by a video tape left behind by the deceased father. They have to jump through hops to get their inheritance and find love. I enjoyed these last couple of books, very cute and charming. Well written.

I truly enjoyed Go Deeper! The whole plot and theme was more than a romance and more about finding out who you really are. I would highly recommend this book! Molly Sloan is an excellent author who truly develops a great story line and helps you understand her characters thinking in why they do what they do. I’ll definitely be reading more by Ms. Sloan:)

This story started out with one tragedy after another. Poor Alex waited the required time to uncover his birth story only to find out his birth mother has passed years prior. Things turned around when he was basically pushed into contacting Lea…who had a major crush on him during his high school days. They both found solace in the water and love was born. My emotions were all over the place after reading this book!! Charlie got his wish for a baby sister with an added bonus!! Can’t wait for the next book in the series…

Alex and Lea’s story was sweet. Alex finding out a year before that he was adopted and had to wait til his 25th birthday to find out where he was born and who his parents were. Finding out his mom was easy as he had a letter from her and her name but his dad was another story. On top of that he had to find a way to help his home country and being his idea before the board to see if they would approve the release of his inheritance. While there he met up with Lea, his best friend’s sister. One thing led to another and then she doesn’t here from him for a week. Will she forgive him ? Will they continue their romance, if you can call it that ? I can’t wait for book three to come out with the last brother. Good read !

The single mom and the surfer dude.
Alex is a surfer dude. He’s adopted and is sent to his home country, Australia. He meets up again with what he thought was a bookish nerd, but turns out to be the gorgeous Lea, a single mom. She’s an underwater photographer with a mission to protect the reef. But Alex is tied to the bad guy, his biological father.
I thought I would not care for Alex, the surfer dude, but I found I really liked Lea.
4.5

I didn’t dislike this book, on the other hand, I wasn’t thrilled with it either. The characters were fine, but overall the book felt “preachy” about the Great Barrier Reef and climate change. It had a different twist for the ending, which was nice.

Finding the truth
I admired Alex Elliott. As the second brother of the Elliott family, he’s most thought of as the carefree brother, a lazy surfer-type with no life path. But life holds lots of surprises, and the biggest surprise of them all drops in his lap upon the death of his father.
Now of age, Alex must come up with a plan that will benefit his birth parents or the community of the country he was born and present his plan to the board at Elliott Corporation. His rightful inheritance to the family legacy depends on the success of this plan. His journey takes him to Australia where he discovers there is a bit of mystery surrounding his birth mother. What Alex didn’t expect was to find Lea Carlson, his best friend’s younger sister.
Lea’s becomes a key piece in the puzzle Alex needs to solve. She also never thought to see her childhood crush after all those years. The chemistry between these two is a slow boil but the attraction is there. After a tragic event, Lea’s never let her heart feel again, not until Alex. There are a few unexpected revelations and it was great to see Alex mature and step up to the challenges. Molly Sloan gives us an entertaining romance with strong character depth with a bit of light mystery.
This second book in the saga of the Elliott boys is absolutely phenomenal! Alex is the next brother to turn 25 and his journey to find his birth mother takes him to Australia. There he reconnects with Lea, his best friend David’s little sister. She’s not the same annoying teenage girl she used to be and she turns his head in a way he did not expect. The story is an amazing journey of Alex finding out not only what kind of amazing woman his birth mother was but also what a jerk his biological father is and what being a father truly means. He also finds love along the way where he least expected it and gets the life he never thought he wanted.

The Deeper You Go, the Better It Gets
Few novels reach the heart of the reader and the heart of the novel’s message in the first pages, but Go Deeper, Molly Sloan’s continuing romance trilogy (but each novel is a stand-alone read) achieves this challenge. The novel allows the reader to explore the pull of romantic love—a man and woman’s desire to mate, and the equally strong pull of the heart of a parent for a child—both a child of the body and a child of the heart. In the opening pages of the novel, the reader meets the Elliot family—mother, Susie, and sons Caleb, Alex and Eden—who have gathered after the death of husband and father, Gordon, to hear his recorded loving farewell, a financial challenge/opportunity for his sons and the most unexpected news—that all three deeply loved and desired sons, were adopted. Gordon, in the video, assures his sons of the love he and Susie have for their boys, but also of the desire of adoptive parents that their sons meet and understand their birth mothers and their country of birth (each son came from a different mother and a different country). The financial “opportunity” is linked to each son’s inheritance motivated by Gordon and Susie’s desire that their sons give back to their country of origin, and for Alex that place is Australia.
As he prepares to leave for his unexpected search for his birth mother, his best friend and fellow surfing enthusiast,David, asks Alex to look up his little sister, Lea, who left California after the surfing death of her high school boyfriend, Charlie, to “study abroad” her senior year, and who had been living with her aunt. For the sake of his friendship with David, Alex grudgingly agrees to look Lea up, remembering her as a pesky middle schooler who bugged the two older boys. The full story, which neither Alex nor anyone else ever heard, is that Lea’s move abroad was at the insistence of her minister father seeking to hide the family’s “shame”—Lea was pregnant with Charlie’s baby. With the support of her aunt, Lea and baby Charlie, named for his father, not only survived in Australia, they flourished. Lea graduated from high school and went on to acquire her undergraduate and masters’ degrees at university in marine biology under the guiding eye of Dr. Jane Teeley, her mentor. Now, Lea serves as director Dr. Teeley’s NPO, The Reef Project.
Molly Sloane demonstrates her understanding of her reader’s wishes—a HEA ending and a carefully constructed, realistic plot, where with “all the twists and turning …you can’t know the outcome of the actions;” where the characters don’t always follow their heart or their logic, but follow their “gut,” because “it’s about trusting your instincts.” I especially enjoyed the author’s inclusion of contemporary issues such as the threats impacting the ocean reefs. With these guiding concepts, this romance is a delightful reading experience that leaves the reader smiling!

This is the 2nd story in the Billionaire Elements Series and this story is about Alex the middle brother who has now turned 25 and can access the details of his birth to earn his inheritance by finding a way to help his birth country. The brothers find out upon their father’s passing last year that all 3 brothers where adopted from different countries. In the previous story when met Caleb and his journey to his country of origin. When Alex and his best friend read the paperwork they are both shocked that Alex is from Australia and Alex makes plans to go and see what he can discover about his birth parents. Along the way his mom and friend tell him to look up Lea his best friends younger sister. Once Alex arrives in Australia he deals with one surprise after another and when he sees Lea again he is pleasantly surprised to see the awkward young girl has become a beautiful young woman. Lea has worked hard over the years as a single mother and became a top marine biologist. As they spend time together Lea has secrets and answers for Alex and once they are shared it gives Alex information needed to move forward in his journey. They are both surprised of their connection to one another and navigate through it with trust. Alex has been the laid back surfer and with his past coming together he has grown into a more responsible man and in doing so he finds a purpose to satisfy the requirements of the will but the most rewarding adventure is the love of a beautiful woman and her son! I look forward to reading about Eden and his journey. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The storyline was wonderfully written and the characters were written with such great detail and depth that I couldn’t put this book down until I turned the very last page!
Go Deep by Molly Sloan. Molly Sloan has a unique quality of writing! She lets you know the full depth of the characters and emotional ride that each one is going through.
This is my first time reading this series.
When Alex father dies, he finds out his brothers, Caleb, Eden, and himself are all adopted, each from a different country. At 24 Alex has one year to go back to AUSTRALIA and to learn about his birth country and make a financial benefit plan before he will receive his birth circumstance and inheritance.
Alex friend, David, told him to look up his baby sister Lea since she moved there when she was 17. Lea move to Australia when her boyfriend died while surfing and she became pregnant with his child. Her parents didn’t want people to know, so she was sent to Australia to live with her aunt.
Lea had her son, finished high school and went to college and got her Marine Biologists degree. She had it touch but she was strong.
When Alex went to Australia, he found Lea was not the brat, annoying little girl he remembered. She became a beautiful woman and he was very attractive to her! The chemistry is too hot to handle and can’t be stopped!
He later finds it was his birth mom that help Lea and she was her mentor and teacher.
So many conflicts is happening to Alex and he needs to find himself. Can there be a future for him and Lea?

Alec is surprised to learn at age 24 that he was adopted as a baby. Alec and his 2 brothers had been adopted from different countries and when his adoptive father died, he left a letter for each son to open when they turned 25. they were then supposed to go to that country and find a worthwhile project and donate money and help that cause. When Alec visits Australia he reconnects with his best friend’s sister, Lea.
I liked the story but it moved a little too quickly for me. I would have liked more details but it was still an enjoyable read.

This story covers the middle Elliot son, Alex, who at 25 is to access the details of his Australian birth to earn his $1 billion inheritance if he can find a way to help his birth country. His father wants each of his sons to get over themselves, their materialistic and short-sighted pleasures, and give back to the world through helping with something worthwhile. Alex will be allotted one year to develop a financial benefit plan with his biological parents to accomplish this. Alex heads to Australia – urged by his mother and best friend to get in touch with Lea, his best friend’s sister who is currently living in Australia. He recalls how annoying the scrawny little kid was when he knew her, following them around constantly. But he reluctantly agrees to contact her.
Lea Carlson’s story was that she had gotten pregnant when she was 17. Her parents wanted her to give the child up, but she chose to raise him in Australia on her own. She is a marine biologist leading “The Reef Project”, an effort to save the Great Barrier Reef. Almost a quarter of all marine life depends on coral reefs for food and shelter, yet the damage to the reef is severe and ongoing. When Lea and Alex meet again, instead of the little pest Alex remembered her to be, he finds a confident woman who knows what matters most and what must be done to fix it. Can Alex become the man his father envisioned and perhaps help the funding of Lea’s worthy project? Will this be enough to align their goals and let them begin to see that the two of them make a great team after all?
This is a good story with characters who have had to grow up and look outside of their own surroundings to provide something better for those beyond themselves. Lea has met her challenge in raising her son on her own and becoming a strong woman who is ready to give herself over to important work to save the coral reefs. Alex is given the opportunity to make a difference if he can look beyond himself and see how he can help. Is he ready for a life-changing event like this? Is he ready for a new direction and change of focus? Grab your copy and find out where his destiny will take him.
