The heat is on for Erin Price, gluten-free baker. Erin moves to Eagle Falls, a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, taking over the store left to her by her aunt to start up a gluten-free bakery. The grand opening is marred by just one thing, the death of Erin’s business rival, Angela Plaint. It appears that Angela was poisoned by one of Erin’s cupcakes, making her a prime … her a prime suspect.
Equipped with cupcakes, her desire for the truth, and new bakery assistant Vicky’s help, Erin goes head-to-head against Detective Terry Piper to solve the murder.
Rumors of treasure hunting, drug dealing, and a missing boy swirl around Eagle Falls as Erin tries to sort the clues from the red herrings and find the killer before the killer can take care of her.

Nice. Enjoyed timeframe of the story. Kept my interest.
Fun mystery.
Loved it.
A lot of potential story lines introduced but not a lot of development
Kept me guessing. Nice story about a woman holding her own and learning more about herself and her capabilities as she goes. Description of her dilemma toward the end was done nicely.
A can’t stop reading series. I’m on book 4 and can’t stop reading.
Lots of twists and turns
Small town peyton place. Lots of unusual twists and turns in the plot. I enjoyed it.
People down on their luck get a second chance. Good ending
Definitely not the best book oK have read . I cannot recommend it at all.
This book was kind of far-fetched all The way around. Aunts don’t leave you in foster care and then will you a couple of nice properties. Gluten free baking isn’t so easy and people who didn’t need gluten free baked goods wouldn’t flock in great numbers immediately to a new bakery. (I have Celiac and buy and bake gluten free products) The murderer and murder were ridiculous and I didn’t appreciate the attack on Christians and their supposed small mindedness.
It was okay but didn’t draw me into the story.
I enjoyed this whole series, fun characters with interesting stories.
I found this book a bit boring and skipped many parts to finish it.
Fun relaxing read. For a busy day when you don’t have a lot of time to spend reading.
Fabulous book
Boring
This book is a fun who-done-it. Since I can’t eat gluten, I found it especially interesting to read a book set in a gluten free bakery.
A little slow but I was entertained
Fun read
